My husband made a purchase online a few days ago, we only received 1 item out of 4. Tried to get in contact via call but it's closed. So instead we emailed and said they will get back and still no response and still have not received the other 3 item. It's difficult to go to a store as my husband is working and I am pregnant. Absolutely disappointed in the service.

I visited this store not long ago. It is a pleasure to come and shop not just for clothing or footwear. Also, homeware, children etc.
I thoroughly enjoyed the experience there. I came for a click and collect order. The staff member I was served by was patient, displayed a can-do attitude.
Plus, clarification on the order. Had a positive demeanour. Simply and effortlessly professional. I would happily come again to this store.

Night mate spent £200 in there the women who served us was so slow. When we got to the excite door the alarms kept going off because she hadn't taken off six of the tags. The security guard was amazing helped us sort it out. Didn't need this has I was was with my 88 year old mum and my 2 year old granddaughter

Hit and miss. Sometimes you get someone incredibly helpful (manager is great), sometimes they won't even get you scissors to open your parcel and you have to use a Biro! Great range of clothes though.

This is a great shop for clothing and household goods and soft furnishings. Prices are cheap most of it is good quality. The fact that I don't like a lot of it is neither here nor there but hence three stars rather than four. Lots of car parking and close to public transport

This is a pretty nice store and unlike other Matlans it's very close to the public transport. Has a good variety of clothes for the whole family. Got some house goods too

I chose this store for collecting a Click & Collect order as it was close to where I work. Easy to get to on the Docklands Light Railway. The store seemed nothing special but was okay. Although not busy the staff did not appear in too much of a hurry to serve me. I stood waiting at the end of the queue sign with tills 1 to 3 lit up. Two of the three staff then disappeared leaving one left who was serving a customer. After they left I was not called over so after a minute or so I wondered over and got their attention and then was served. It took a further 5 mins for my order to be got hold of. I guess the staff were so engrossed in what they were doing they were not aware of what was going on around them. In other Matalan stores I have always been served promptly.

Visited this store to return items bought online. The assistant employed by the company was rude to the point she THOUGHT she was being smart as she stated that the 'machine was uppity' as I inserted my card for the refund to be made she again stated' see I said the machine was uppity'. The items purchased were not fit for the purpose, so in line with the companies policy I returned them having collected them from another branch earlier in the week which she had commented on. I give fair reviews on places I visit check out my reviews if you like, this is a true and factual account of my visit on Friday afternoon. This individual is the face of a pitiful bitter set of people who if they educated themselves would know their on history and humble themselves in doing so. Having stated that this company is diverse in its employment of people.

I visited the store 'click and collect' all the tills were busy. The staff who served me smiled, thanked me for waiting and got down to business. I was a bit demanding but that didn't appear to upset the assistant at all.

Decent sized shop.Has free parking they sell lovely clothing for adults and children all reasonably priced.Also homewares i bought a duvet set there cheaper than what i would have got on a market was very happy with purchase.Friendly staff.Next door there is Sports Direct also.
