Good luck trying to get hold of these guys. My dishwasher stopped heating up so I thought I'd try and support my local businesses and rang both their mobile and landline numbers several times. Each time I tried, it would ring a couple of times and then cut off. I would then receive a text message saying "Appliance clinic sorry please text me as I'm unable to answer the phone". So I replied to the text asking for them to contact me. I did that once on the 17th and again on the 20th of January and I've heard nothing.
On their site they say "Think twice before throwing away your broken oven, dishwasher or washing machine!" Well, I have thought twice, and that got me nowhere, so now I've thrown my old machine away and bought a new one! I shan't bother with this company again.

I have no problem with you not being available. It would just have been nice to have had some kind of response back - even if it was automated - to say when you would be.

Excellent friendly service, swift repair and fair pricing. I would highly recommend Niven. I’m not sure who a previous review relates to as Niven is the only engineer and owner so it must relate to the wrong company. My experience was very positive and my washing machine is immediately working again.

Niven's number should be in everyones contacts list. For sure I will be passing it on to all my Family, Friends and the local community. On time and Extremely professional. AEG had quoted me £130.00 call out and repair, one off payment, with a view to having someone with me in the next 3 working day. Niven arrived next day (AM) fixed the problem in 10 minutes and charged £10.00 enough said

Reliable and honest! I had what turned out to be a cheap fix on my dryer and with advice from Appliance Clinic I was able to fix it myself for under £6. Ignore the questionable one star review from a year ago, because I had the opposite experience.

Absolute waste of time do not use this so called “professional” called him to look at our washing machine a few months ago as it was shreading our clothes and spotted their was a cut on the door seal which I told him he came out and said their was nothing wrong and that’s just how the manufacturer made it so took on face value that he knew what he was talking about BIG MISTAKE on my part couple of days ago machine made a loud bang had somebody else out and they said the circuit board had been flooded due to the cut in the door seal water had gone through so a new washing machine it is then so unless you want to be paying the price later I would recommend somebody else there’s a reason why it’s a free call out charge don’t think he knows what he’s doing

Very honest bloke - just called him to see if he repairs dishwashers - he said he did and I explained my problem. He told me how to possibly repair the problem myself - if that didn't work to call him to have a look. Not often you get someone wiling to advise for free rather than doing a "call out" visit
I shall certainly call him if I can't sort it!

Had issue with my dryer so called this guy out to do repair he quoted me for new part n Labour and came few days later to fit, 10 mins after leaving my property the dryer stopped working so i informed him of this straight away he later text me back saying it could be another problem, now considering id just paid him the best part of £100 for the repair job that day I thought he would at least come back to check it wasn't his part that was faulty or at least have a look at why my dryat only stayed working a short while, I never heard back from him again he just took my money and ran I wouldn't advice anyone to use this cowboy
