I’ve been having my hair cut and coloured at KC hair for about 15 years. I have the amazing Jo to do my hair and she always takes care of me and knows exactly what my hair needs whether it has been short or long! Walking into the salon you’re always made to feel very welcome and are looked after. Ive also had several beauty treatments over the years and can thoroughly recommend any of the treatments.

Really happy with my lilac hair done by Emily! She was just as excited as I was to dye my hair and gave a lot of helpful input when discussing colours. It was also reasonably priced. Everyone was wearing face masks and following social distancing so I felt very safe inside too. Thank you so much! x

I had a Dermaplane treatment by Courtney. Not having experience this before I wasn't quite sure what to expect. However Courtney put me at ease and I experienced a lovely facial followed by the treatment. My skin is so fresh and radiant now and am surprised how different my skin feels. From the moment I walked in and when I left the staff were friendly and very welcoming. Definitely will be returning back. Thank you very much all.

Had my t-section regrowth touched up and face framing high lights put in by Lucy, who did an such a good job of taking me from dark brunette to platinum. Amazing colourist, who took the time to get the colour perfect, I completely recommend :)

After lockdown I had a bit of a crisis over hair colours and both Daisy and Jaz helped enormously to get the colour back to where it had been. The service was professional- very COVID safe and unhurried and I felt they really cared. I have been using this salon for over 10 years and always felt like a princess when I left.

i would not recommend getting a hair cut here! i spent £48 pounds on hair cut by stylist daisy who was suppose to be good at cutting curly hair! i had to get my hair cut again a week later as she cut out all my curls. would not recommend hair maybe beauty is better!

My first visit since the salon reopened. Masks must be worn and all staff were wearing visors. Social distancing was observed at all times and I felt perfectly safe, pleasure to be back.

Just visited for the first time since lockdown - I was a bit nervous initially, but it was calm and professional as usual - fantastic colour and haircut from Emily as usual and very Covid friendly measures in place - great ventilation in the salon, great social distancing with lots of space around me - hand sanitiser placed wherever needed and protective masks and screens used to full effect - the team could not have done more to make me feel safe And comfortable - so very good to be back !!

The team at Karen Christiensen in Wells did a fantastic job at styling our bridal and bridesmaid hair for my wedding in May. Emily is really talented (and very patient with my fussiness!) and we were all really pleased with how our hair looked and lasted on the day. I love this place- a trip to this salon is top of my list when I want to treat myself. I've had both IPL and electrolysis-type treatment for thread veins on my face- which used to make me very self-conscious but I'm happy to say are pretty much gone now! Karen herself did the electrolysis and was very no-nonsense about the procedure, explaining the science behind it all and how it worked, which I found fascinating and reassuring. This lady definitely knows what she's doing! I also go regularly for shellac manicures and pedicures with the lovely Courtney, who always makes me feel very welcome with a smile and a cup of coffee, makes my nails look ultra sparkly and fabulous, and gives the best hand/foot massages at the end of the manicure/pedicure. Can't rate this place highly enough!

Always do a great job, whatever you go here for. They do small trims, such as fringes, for free, simply asking for a donation to the charity they support in return. When I first got my fringe cut in, I wasn't aware of this and booked a full haircut appointment. When I arrived, the woman offered me a free wash and blowdry to make up for the price I paid for this service. Cannot fault them.

I had a facial today, lovely therapist but it was not what I'm used to compared to my normal treatments in London. There was no steamer which makes a huge difference to the skin opening up the pores etc and also the room was freezing. Very expensive indeed, and I couldnt really relax as I was cold throughout the treatment. It was the room temperature. So very disappointed.

Amazing friendly service and always eager to please. We have just moved down from Hampshire and their pricing is 30% cheaper than my previous Aveda Salon and better service. Yes you can get cheaper haircuts elsewhere I am sure but in my experience you get what you pay for and the service here is exceptional. I know have all my 3 boys hair cut here and they treat them they little grown ups ( they especially like the hot chocolate!)

My colour and cut hair from Jasmine was very poor ????
I had dark hair from top of head. After colour for blond it was still dark on top. Not imprest for her skills. Same cut very weak.
I should go outsaid and say WOW, not YHM ???? So i had feel that i pay 95 found for nothing! Shame ????
That's why I give 1 star.

Top notch stylists in a beautiful environment. The salon in the centre of Wells with the big sweeping staircase makes you feel like you're in for a treat from the moment you arrive and you will certainly not leave disappointed. My stylist was friendly, helpful and actually listened to what I was saying. She made sure I was looked after during my whole colour, cut and blow dry. The Aveda products smelt amazing and I left with a real bounce in my step and fabulous looking hair. Can't wait to go back!

Took my 2 year old in for her first cut and was so worried it would be an absolute nightmare! We were looked after from the minute we walked in and I couldn't thank the staff enough for going out of their way so much to make us feel comfortable! Recommend to anybody! Thank you!

Not only been changed £33 .. when sould of been £25 .. as I asked for .. only to find one side had been cut far shorter than the other side .. went in with a picture of the style I requested and came out with a completely different style. so basically I was not at impressed with the cut ..

I use to be terrified of going to the any Hair Salon as I use to come out looking like something from the 70's or the blow dry had to be washed out and I use to sit there thinking "what the hell have the done to me" I HATED IT, but now I wish I could go every week I love having my hair styled and having a head massage and followed by a beautiful setting and great friendly people, they make you feel pampered and like your the only one in the room. My recommendation stylists are Zac and Jo they are the bees knees and Zac is a fantastic stylist and is a whiz on his scissors, thank you Karen Christensen for making me look great
