Viewed a few cars online and settled on the one from here. I reserved it quite late at night and next morning Warren called. Talked me through everything quickly and easily. Absolutely fantastic service, really genuine man who answered any questions I had. Picked the car up on the Friday and everything was seamless. We have two teenagers starting to drive in the next couple of years and will definately be speaking to Warren when the time comes. Thank you

Probable the most friendly Arnold Clark garage i have used. Car in for service i chose to stay and wait for it to be completed. Staff were aware i had been sitting waiting my choice and ask how i was. Amazed to find it has a well stocked cafeteria that takes card payments. I had the full breakfast 5 stars price and quality. Spent some time browsing the cars on display all sales staff left me alone but were pleased to answer any questions i had without trying to hard or soft sell. Well worth the travel to Glasgow South street from Falkirk area. Next car probably from here.

I purchased a car last week from this dealership last week and I can honestly say that this is the best service that I have ever received when purchasing a car. I dealt with Dean in the dealership and the attention to detail, the willingness to do everything he could for me blew me away. On top of that, he was just a nice guy too, I felt relaxed when I was sat there and it didn’t feel like I was being sold anything. I was a bit sceptical about using Arnold Clark again after the experience I had with them in St Helens, but this experience that I had with Dean has fully restored my faith, next time I purchase a car, I will be calling branch and asking for Dean, absolutely incredible customer experience for me.

In this review I'll taIk about the sales process the aftercare & repairs, Autocare and my final thoughts. SALES Dean Armstrong was a gentleman and a pleasure to deal with. His knowledge was fantastic helping steer us towards the right cars for both me and my wife. The whole process from start to finish was very professional and I never felt as if I was being chased for a sale. It took 2 weeks for them to get a sale out of me from the first point of contact until signing the paperwork and during this time Dean worked with me by phone and email to suggest possible cars when they got close to what I was looking for I made an appointment to go talk face to face. I also got a very good deal on both cars so make sure to push them all the way. I would recommend you go to and speak with Dean because this young man is fantastic at his job and very patient. AFTERCARE & REPAIRS I bought 2 cars from here earlier this year. I have had a number of small problems with both cars but the issues were dealt with and fixed. The customer service and servicing team were very helpful and I got a courtesy car during the time my car was off the road. AUTOCARE WARRANTY (is it worth buying?) I had been told by people I knew that the Arnold Clark Autocare wasn't worth the paper it was printed on however already we have had an issue fixed and my car is currently booked in with Mercedes Glasgow to get 2 major parts replaced costing over £2000. So is it worth it, I think so! So for that added peace of mind maybe having this cover is a good idea after all. It doesn't cover everything of course but now that I've experienced needing it I've seen for myself that it does cover quite a lot of parts on the car that can go wrong. FINAL THOUGHTS I moved away from Arnold Clark due to a couple of bad experiences in the past but it proves that giving them a final chance has worked out ok. I'm sure they aren't perfect in every department but what car business is? However this time round it seems that they have made things better and their sale experience is the reason I opted to go with them this time round.

One of the best garages I've ever dealt with .My car dealt with promptly and efficiently. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff here .Working for the NHS my car is vital to me and everyone at this garage were fantastic. Living 100miles from Glasgow they waited for us to pick up the car even when it was their half day! Thank you to everyone! My car is the best it's ever been! Xxxxx

Con men, sold me a car for top whack what is was worth covered in scratches inside and out. They don’t like you bringing the car back to their service department either. I didn’t even trust them to do work under warranty in the end and would just take my car to a garage and pay to have it done. Avoid.

Been in the branch twice for recalls on my car. The first time was a good experience however my recent visit was quite disappointing. Had a recall with my car and dropped it off thing in the morning at 8am. Been told it would be finished in the early afternoon and they would keep me updated with the progress via email and phone me when it was complete. As they were quite speedy last time and this was a less time consuming recall than the last, I had in mind they would take no longer than a few hours. I also booked my car in a few months prior so I'd expect them to have enough staff on site that day and they would work on my car straight away. I told them to please phone me as soon as it's done (as I don't live anywhere near the west end). Whenever I get anything done on my car that's far from home I would usually go on a walk or sit in a coffee shop and read a book however as Glasgow is still in level 4 covid protection level I couldn't go anywhere apart from walking about. Ended up walking about in circles in the west end for over six hours and also caught a cold due to their negligence to give me a curtesy call when my car was complete. There also wasn't any email updates or the fact my car's recall was done. They sent the health check email of my car AFTER I had collected my car, even though they were meant to send me it before the recall was done. In fact I had to chase them at 2:45pm to find out what's going on with my car and they didn't even apologise for failing to update me but just said my car is done and I can come and collect it. When I got there they just handed my keys to me and told me the bay number my car was parked in. They did not show me to my car. The whole experience felt cold throughout (like how I felt while I was 'waiting' for my car). (whereas, in my first visit, the staff (different staff) was friendly, kept my up to date, showed me to my car, confirmed the recall was done and the car had been washed) The only positive I could say is the recall was done to a good standard and did solve the problem with my car.

Dreadful dealer, did not register car in correct name, failed to fit equipment on sale (new), does not resolve warranty issues, took 10 days to charge a battery, didn't clean car which is part of normal service (even had label on keys saying "don't clean car", didn't provide curtosey car and wanted 6 weeks to make warranty repair (car unable to start).......... Staff rude, unhelpful and take ages to answer phone........... Manager doesn't return calls/email to discuss issues and head office not interested (emailed CEO) Arnold Clark clearly does not believe in customer service or meeting contractual obligations

My daughter has been so excited to get her first car,we reserved the car on the 12th july £99 deposit and were told it would be ready 16th, the salesman dean Armstrong told us he'd keep us up to date,ye right!!! No calls,no emails no voicemail nothing!! My daughter and I tried to get him the whole day Thursday without any joy,we decided to go to the showroom guess what car hadn't been touched, I had words with the salesman and my daughter ran out the showroom in tears nice first car experience eh.....shocking....

I saw a C-class I was interested in and called Arnold Clark. I was put through to Harry Macha who answered all the questions I had about the car. I was coming up from Birmingham so I reserved the car and because I was 99% confident about the car I got my finance arranged on the day too - call it risky but trust me the video of the car and pictures showed the car was immaculate. Lo and behold when I physically saw and drove the car, it was immaculate and lush! Interestingly, on the way to Glasgow all the cars had Arnold Clark stickers on so this instilled me with confidence that I was going to the right car dealership. Big shout out to Harry Macha who is one of the better car sales consultants I've come across in a while! He answered all my questions, had a few jokes and didn't force me to buy every single add-on although I did buy a few extras like the VSI and warranty - their prices are pretty good! Overall it's a chilled and inviting place to be. There's a large open-space coffee area and the other sales consultants are friendly and helpful. Lastly massive thanks to Harry for the suggestion on a good food spot - the Kebabish on Victoria Rd was delicious! Cheers fella!

What can I say, customer beware the vulture salesman (sorry, product advisor...) wishing to peck away at the bones of what's left of your bank account as you sign up for a PCP deal to add yet another direct debit to your already drowning bank account to impress people you don't know with a shiny new car (sorry again, nearly new ex rental or courtesy vehicle). But that part out of the road, they have a lot of cars to choose from, lots of finance to offer you, interests rates dependant on how well you deal with money, low for prudent people and high for the debt ridden. Sure they offer paint protection, interior protection, insurance, gap insurance, servicing plans, extended warranties, finance... So it's a wonderland of add-ons. But again it does offer a wide array of vehicles at prices and a guy that sure to annoy you by the time you leave. And if you do finally get round to... Buying... Leasing... Kinda a car, I'm sure you'll be happy with your purchase, I was several times over the years, because like you I'll never learn that a new car makes everything better!

Been told they were trying to get hold of me but i didnt get no voicemail, no email no messages or missed calls!! And now coming up to second week! That i still havent got my £99 back!!! Wouldnt recommend at ALL!!

Had a great experience purchasing my new car at the Arnold Clark South Street branch. The branch is at a great location, plenty of parking available and had a wide variety of cars that are very well priced. Alan Sharp dealt with me, he provided excellent customer service, he answered all my questions, was very informative, accommodating and was not overbearing or pushy (like most car salesman from my previous experience). I was able to test drive the car on the same day and pick it up the day after, speedy service was excellent. They also provided me with a good deal on my current car which i was able to part exchange. I definitely recommend this branch.

After having a horrendous experience with Arnold Clark a number of years ago, I can honestly say I did not expect very much when I visited the showroom. However I can honestly say that every staff member I dealt with was absolutely fantastic. And my salesman Alan Sharp really was fabulous and really changed my opinion of Arnold Clark. He took the time to ask what I was looking for and really listened to what I wanted. He found me the perfect car and the full sale and trade in process really restored my opinion of the company. I felt very well looked after and even the manager Barry came and thanked me for my purchase making me feel that they do actually value their customers. It was a great process end to end and I would recommend this branch and sales person Alan Sharp without question... a statement I did not think I would make given my previous experience but I honestly have had my opinion changed by my experience this time round.
