Decided to try this place tonight as we had such a terrible experience of Anstey Chippy. It was easy to find, well presented and had traditional style. Prices were better than the other fish bar in the village as well.
The most important bit is the food though. The chips were cooked in nice fresh oil, the batter was crisp and the fish was tasty. We had cod and chips and it was delicious. Will come back soon.

Beautiful food! My husband and daughter are both coeliac, both love the gluten free fish and chips! It is hard to find places that cater for gluten free but William Waltons has various gluten free options. Very friendly staff, fantastic atmosphere and overall amazing food!

Seemed like a nice atmosphere but unfortunately the quality and quantity of the food was shocking. Ordered a large chips for £3 and it was basically a handful.. the curry sauce was terribly runny also. It’s a shame as it’s close by and a nice little shop but a few changes need to be made if I were to go there again.

If your a fan of traditional fish and chips in served in a traditional way then look no further. This little gem is located on a quiet street but has queues out the door from hungry locals. They serve tasty chips and battered fish without the sloppy greasy taste you get in most main stream chippies. They serve homemade curry sauce and mushy peas and even wrap it all up in newspaper for the real traditional feel. Staff are great and really bring this little establishment to life

Being partial to a chip-or-two I am happy to report this fried potato emporium is every bit as good as reported by everybody else. Has a feel of popping in to a friendly front parlour whilst being served hot vegetables and tasty piscean treats. Basically, deliciously recommended.
