Love this plaice :-) - Really good old school chippy. Staff are great, portion size massive and cost is low. Fish and chips always good and the kebabs are lovely.

The chips we actually got were very nice,but after waiting extra time for the fish to be cooked (which is understandable) the big surprise was the lack of chips we actually got when we finally got home. The pictures below has the fish removed from one tray but literally these are the amount of chips we got.... It doesn't even cover the base of the tray... Looks like leftovers rather than fresh from the chippy. Really disappointed with the portion size.... That's an understatement actually.

Everything a local chippy should be: great service and great food. I phone in my order for pick up every two weeks (to jump the Friday evening queue!) and the lady who answers recognises my voice and knows my order. Huge portions of chips - leftovers after my wife and I share a large portion - and I get a mini fish because the normal size is too much!

Just been to Supreme chip shop, just moved in the area thought we would give it a try. Battered sausage the biggest black hair straight through it. Binned the dinner as about threw up. They dont wear hair nets, so this is why. All they could say is do you want another one or refund. But not the point, hygiene needs reviewing.

Just bought a £10 kebab. Perfect all round. The staff and service deserves 10/10. Best chip shop in Leicestershire. Iv been to a lot due to work and this one is not to be missed. Thank you for an excellent but very big kebab.

Started going here after my local chip shop changed for the worse. This is a great chip shop run by great people, and if you have to wait for your food you get to listen to some awesome music too as there's always something good playing. The best kebabs in Loughborough too.
