The Wolds Day Nursery

My son has been at The Wolds for almost two years and he has thrived there. We wanted a nursery that was local, where the professional standards were very high, and most importantly where our son felt happy and well looked after. The Wolds has exceeded our expectations from the outset - it’s very caring, adventurous and broad in the educational opportunities it offers the children, and utterly professional. I have complete faith that what they don’t know about teaching and learning and government guidance (especially at the moment in relation to Covid-19, which they have handled very well), isn’t worth knowing. We’d like to thank Karen and the team for all the support and care they have given our son and look forward to our daughter joining you soon!

Our little girl has been at The Wolds since she was just 6 months, and she is now approaching 4 years old. She has thrived at this nursery! All of the staff are professional, caring and inspiring to the little people in their care. I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough.

My son has been going since he was 8 months old, he's now nearly 3. He loves going to this nursery and I know it's because the standard of care is exceptional. I didn't like the idea of him going to nursery but they made me feel comfortable and confident that he would be ok. The activities, outdoor focus and cleanliness are brilliant. The best nursery in the area IMO.

I had the opportunity to visit the Wolds as part of a study programme. I’ve been to lots of settings as part of my training and this one blew me away so much I promised I’d do a review! I can honestly say they are some of the most professional and caring staff I’ve ever seen. They really do put the children at the heart of everything they do. The children are so enthused about the forest school programme & it’s so refreshing to see children in such a wonderful outdoor learning space, doing what children do best - exploring & having fun in the process. I can see why they are so popular with parents & early years professionals alike. Thanks team Wolds - it’s been an honour to learn from you!

Trumps all the nurseries in the area with it's one acre forest school provision, the building and presentation are second to none. The staff are amazing and I can't recommend highly enough.
