This is a small zoo for such a large city. Maybe you will see animals, most likely you wont. Now you have all of the indoor viewing areas closed as if this was to prevent the spread of COVID. If you are going to restrict viewing then reduce …

We liked the one way traffic for safety. Loved seeing all the animals out, especially the orangutans and the elephants. We were glad to see some expanded space for the elephants to move around.

We love the Denver Zoo! They have amazing protocol in place during the pandemic so everyone still has fun and remains safe. My girls love the sea lions, giraffes, and lion cubs the most. The elephants are my personal favorite. They have a …

Awesome experiance, everything is 1 way right now so it keeps the flow going and people separated. Any staff we saw and had questions about animals they were able to help. Being a member is a big bonus if you would go a lot. Im in town visiting family who are members and free entry +discounts was excellent.

We've been coming to the zoo regularly for over six years--since the first one was born--and it never fails to disappoint. Great attractions, good beer, fun food and of course the animals! Say what you will about Zoos generally, the Denver zoo is a gem in the crown of the Denver experience!

Under construction. Lot of animals up close. Not as big as ours. The set up for distancing was good. My favorite was the fishing cat! It came right up to glass! Almost wanted to pet it...and loose a hand ????. The viewing glass areas were …

Just such an excellent light show. A worthwhile way to spend an evening! Smuggled-in chocolate Ovaltine with peppermint schnapps makes it a complete experience.

Always but especially during the pandemic zoo employees are going out of their way to ensure safety for guests. We had great, positive interactions with employees at the front, the main entrance gift shop, the carousel, Tropical Discovery, and concessions. Everyone was so friendly, upbeat and helpful. Great visit!

Still had a blast visiting the zoo yesterday, even with all the corona virus restrictions. The limited capacity made it a lot easier to have some time to enjoy the animals without all the crowds. Everyone is required to wear a mask, try to maintain social distance & follow the arrows that direct you through the zoo.

I really wanted to give them 5 stars but they had a pretty ridiculous amount of the park still closed due to “COVID”. We still managed to have a pretty amazing time here and spent a good amount of time looking at each animal. It’s hard to …

The Denver Zoo has been an amazing place to visit lately. They have times entry so crowds are low, it is one way, and so clean! They strictly enforce the facemask policy and they are just amazing and friendly! Plus they just added Lego animal's! So fun! Zoo lights January 2021!

The zoo has been a lifesaver during this pandemic. My granddaughters are stuffed animal junkies. Even at home we play that we're in the zoo. They both climb into the little ones crib. Then I throw all the animals into the crib. One by one saying the animal's name & and making the animal sound (as best I can). They love it.

With the arrows in place, you don't need a map. Good thing, because you have to use it on your phone! A tad difficult to see outside! Many of the animals were active, which I'm not sure I've seen that anywhere.

We went to the zoo in the dead of winter with a balmy high of 25. Sadly, we were unable to see many of the animals because of that. Nevertheless, quite a few were out, including the kangaroos. (What's that about?) We enjoyed the giraffes …

Love the Denver Zoo. You have an opportunity to see things you most likely would never have a chance to see. The animals are well taken care of and this organization helps with endangered species.

A great little zoo, in the neighborhood with lots of exhibits for the kids. Right now are Lego animals which is super fun for my son. They made a one way path throughout the park with appropriate signage letting you know closest restrooms and exits due to Covid. Kids can still have fun and so can adults.

Love the flow of this zoo. You can do a shorter loop or a longer loop depending on what animals you want to see and how much time you have. Parking is always easy. Since covid-19 I have always felt spread out and safe going there

Had a great time! It was really nice to see all the different animals. Wish certain things weren't closed within the zoo, so that my spouse and I could've enjoyed the whole Denver Zoo experience! Overall, We loved it. We always stop at the zoo of the cities we visit ????

Probably would be good on a summer's day but today just after some snow there were hardly any animals out. Even though we were lucky enough to get free tickets, I'd still like some money back.

We love the Denver zoo. Have only gone once this year unfortunately, due to covid. We usually carry a membership and will once again when we feel safer about being in public again. Zoo lights was fantastic as always. Very courteous staff all night, animals seem to enjoy themselves.

Love the zoo! We have been members for 6 years. If you have a family of four or more (we have 6), the membership is the best way to go. The new stingray feeding pool is amazing! They swim right up to you and are very tame. Super cool.

great visit! The animals were very active when we went. The monkeys were going wild outside. It was fun. I did not care for the cheese that comes with the pretzels though. My kids liked the popcorn a lot. The staff was friendly and kind. The bathrooms were clean. Good day at the zoo.
