SuperSaurus Nursery

This is one of the best nurseries in Hove. All the staff know, all of the children, regardless of which group they are in. There is a range of activities for the children to do and even if they only spend a day there a week, the children seen that much ready to start school, when the time comes. The home cooked food is great. They have a large, all weather playing area at the rear.

Great place for the kids but incredibly inflexible for parents. The management's favourite line to refer to is "Read our Ts&Cs" but they conveniently forget to inform parents when the Ts&Cs are updated. It feels like that in the last couple of years the Saurus nurseries amplified the importance of making as much money as possible to the detriment of the parent/nursery relationship. I will not be recommending this nursery to anyone in the future. However I do want to say thank you to all the girls and boys who looked after my little one for years. They made the experience great for my child and bearable for us parents.

Our experience with Supersaurus has gone so far beyond anything we could possibly have expected. Every single staff member, including grounds staff, chef, management, admin etc. is absolutely delightful. Every key worker my daughter has had has got to know her almost as well as we do as parents and I genuinely feel they care for her on that level. They always strike the balance of education and fun beautifully. Dropping my little one off is a heart warming experience - she is excited to see her friends (big and small) and they are excited to see her. The nursery has been incredibly obliging when we have been disorganised and have had to book her in at very late notice, saving our skins many times over three years. I would recommend Supersaurus to absolutely everybody. When the Ofsted rating dropped from "outstanding" we were outraged. All the parents we spoke to agreed that they will always be outstanding to us.

I have been generally satisfied with Supersaurus until one day I noticed a massive bite mark on my lo's arm when I was bathing him. When I questioned Supersaurus, they did not know anything about it. My lo must have cried after being bitten like that. Where was the staff? I was/am very upset that they let something like this happen.
