Visited Park Vet last Tuesday as my cat (Noodle ????) had a problem with his eye.
Staff was polite on the phone, instruction was clear what to do as COVID situation.
Vet (so sorry forgot his name) was absolutely wonderful, friendly, caring & professional, he’s so good with my Noodle. Vet bill is reasonable. Noodle’s eye was a lot better after using eye drop for 2 days, of course we will carry on with meds til end of the course.
The place is very clean, with hand sanitiser in many places. All owners & pets wait in car park and only go in when vets / appointments are available, and it’s an one way system.
I have heard good reviews about this vet, and I now can confirm they are good.

This is an absolutely brilliant vets, unfortunately our dog had to be put to sleep yesterday. The staff here are amazing they listen to you and take you seriously. They have the best interest of your pet and are not out to try and make money out of you on unnecessary tests and treatment. A big massive thank you for their support X

The positives: Capable efficient staff who worked well with my nervous Jack Russell terrier. They worked swiftly, and were very informative. The covid protocols in place were excellent. They kept very much to time, and I wasn't left waiting too long.
The negatives: The outrageous cost of the eye pressure check. My dog has had the same procedure done elsewhere, under anaesthetic, for much less than the bill presented to me after a 25 minute consultation. Quite how they can justify such an extortionate sum is a mystery to me. Skill: 10/10, willingness to extract money from concerned animal lovers: 20/10.

The place was clean spacious the vet very caring he examine my cat lulu and she had three injection and some medication to take.i, believe my lulu did like her vet as she did not make mush noises when he examine her lulu is much better and getting better every day. Not sure how to write this, as it is still a little raw. Last night, I unfortunately had to put my dog to sleep. I have never had to do this before, and really did not know what to expect. I dont know the vets name, as my emotions were all over the place, but the sympathy this guy showed, added to the professionalism was incredible. I wont forget George (my dog) but I also wont forget the compassion showed.
Whoever he is, he is an immense asset to Park Vets.
The final feather to his bow was giving me the chance to pay over the phone when I had composed myself (my words not his) made me feel like I was valued as a person, George was valued as a dog, rather than just valuing my money.

We had to contact surgery for an emergency in the very early hours. Calm, friendly caring staff who reassured us as owners and showed a real empathy with our GSD. Everything possible was done to check our dog thoroughly and keep us informed. We felt very confident he had received the best possible treatment. I would highly recommend the Glenfield practice, and their emergency service. A special thank you to practitioner Ariel Korber who was so kind and patient.

Excellent for a nervous dog, made ours feel very happy. NYE 2020 needed to see a vet for removal of dew claws as they started to bleed. We called and was asked to come to them, they were quick and efficient. We usually mussle our dog as his nerves get a the better of him around new people and decide to nibble people in fear, the vet removed the mussle and Theo came out very happy!
Would highly recommend in times of need, service was very good.

Edit* and to add to the below issues with reception they have now lost multiple insurance claim forms resulting in us not being paid back for medication for weeks and weeks. The most recent occurrence of this has meant we have been hundreds of pounds out of pocket for Christmas when the form was handed in around 6 weeks ago. We still cannot fault the vets themselves, the reception does make us dread having to stay here though. We have no choice unfortunately as we want to stay with our fantastic specialist.
We have an ongoing issue with one of our dogs and I have to say the vets, nurses and specialists are outstanding! I would give this practice 5 stars if it wasn’t for a few members of the reception staff who really let this fantastic veterinary hospital down. There are 2 who are rude and stand offish with no empathy whatsoever. They are unhelpful and dismissive when we call for help with our dog, and after our dog had emergency surgery of nearly £2,000 one was purely interested in sticking the card machine straight at us without even making eye contact. We had been told by one of the vets that we could claim directly from the insurance rather than pay out and then claim it back so hadn’t thought about the money when we went to collect her. Now, this isn’t an issue in the sense of we knew we could get the money back from the insurers but the receptionist couldn’t even grasp the concept of us needing to transfer money from savings to current account to be able to do this. She merely sat there shoving the card machine at us and telling us we couldn’t have our dog back until we paid (which we had explained we would do of course). Disgusting behaviour especially considering we could lose our dog to this aggressive problem. The younger receptionists are however, lovely and always with a smile and ready to help, maybe they could teach their peers some customer service? I understand that Luke is now training as a veterinary nurse and all best luck to him but reception was a much more pleasant place with him around!!

Bearing in mind Covid restrictions we were asked to wait in our car in the car park after notifying reception we had arrived. We were then seen within 10mins by a vet who explained our dogs injury and proposed treatment. Our dog was then taken into the surgery and the injury dressed. The vet was very professional, and empathetic. I would certainly recommend Park vets everytime. Thumbs up from me.

Park vets is a very good place to take your sick animals, a little bit pricey but they a brilliant with all animals. The only thing when I took my dog last week was not being able to go in with him due to covid. My poor dog had got a thorn in his paw and of course he had been licking it and made it worse. Now it is looking alot better. Thank you park vets at Glenfield. X

I have to say we were blown away with the service we were referred to by the our vet who did not have the expertise to carry out the necessary surgery on our dog they were very understanding of our situation and conducted the consultation as professionally as they could during the challenges of covid present the care and helpfulness of all the staff envoled with our dogs care from start to finish has been second to none we are so grateful for there expertise to conduct the surgery needed oour dog has made an exceptional recovery from the surgery we would highly recommend this veterinary service we are so overwhelmed by there care for both pet and owner, from the bottom of our hearts and words can never express the gratitude to you all Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️

Sadly our oldest cat had to take a trip to the vets and he had to stay for a little while, however, the care, support, professionalism and courtesy afforded us by this practice was excellent.
Even during the pandemic they allowed us to visit our little furball which was really nice.
He has since made a good recovery and we really appreciated all of the teams help and support. Thank you.

I phoned at 9:15 and was given an appointment for 11:30. Arrived and parked in a numbered parking bay, phoned reception to let them know of our arrival and gave them the number of the bay. Within 5 mins the vet had come out to collect my cat and ask some questions. 15 mins later both were back out and I was given advice and told he needed a prescription. I phoned reception again to pay for the visit, injection and ointment, £65. The ointment and receipt were brought out and placed on a table by the door. Everyone wore masks and the COVID security seemed well organised and slick. The whole appointment was over within 30mins.

The staff are so kind to my cat Bob and from what I have experienced, all animals visiting. During these times it’s a worry to visit anywhere however they have a good system in place, ring for an appointment, wait in the car, ring to let them know you have arrived and they come to the car to invite you in. Bob was looked after during his visit even when he had to have an injection- the vet was very thorough and checked Bob all over. The reception staff and nurses were very professional and explained his medication. I have used this practice for a few years now and I would not wish to take Bob anywhere else, always there for your pet and for you.

So happy with the level of care we were shown today. Our pet was greeted by name and the vet was very gentle when taking them from us as well is calm natured too. We have always used the park vet group mainly the Glenfield branch and have never had reason to complain. Staff have always been polite and helpful both on reception and during an emergency. The staff clearly don't just work there for a wage you can sense a real passion in making a difference to an animals life.

The Park saved our dog's life so what better review can anyone give. She spent a week in their care following suspectedly eating something that poisoned her. While in care we received regular updates on her progress and the proposed treatment going forward. After all the suffering during that week she is still happy to enter the surgery door.

Very disappointed overall. took one of my dogs there on Sunday night as he was acting a little strange, not my regular vet but given as an emergency number by my vets. I was told that there would be a fee of £130.00 ( fair enough for a Sunday) we ere told to take him straight over.
We were seen by a young vet who had no experience of GDV , which was our worry, she consulted another vet . They did not suspect that but suggested that they monitor him for a couple of hours, so we left him.
we rang later to be told a different vet was now on duty , the dog was ok but they just wanted to check him over again and give an anti sickness drug.
Upon collection I was presented with a bill for almost £300.00
the breakdown was £40.00 Kenneling £50.00ish for the drug ( fair enough) and then another £50 ish for the second examination !
At no point were we ever made aware of these additional charges , however we did not expect the drugs to be free,
I left the practice feeling that I had been exploited.

Be warned this vets no longer deal directly with your insurance company so had to find money to pay for emergency consultantion and treatment ???? the care my dog received was very good but it's just a shame their policy has now changed. So will need to look for an alternative out of hours/emergency service now as it was just lucky I had the means to pay on this occasion.

I can't recommend this vets highly enough. Having had many visits and health issues with our last boy a JR terrier we always had exceptional and professional care and medical support throughout. There appears to be very little that that can't cater for day or night. The out of hours service is there 24/7 which we have used several times and excellent.
The staff go above and beyond and treat your pet as if it was one of their own!
I have nothing but praise for all members of this practice which provide an invaluable service when you need it the most!
