Dr. Reesor is very knowledgeable when it comes to kitty's. She always takes the time to explain what exactly is wrong with my cat and to answer any questions. Her manner can come across as a bit curt, but I don't mind that when I know my kitty is getting the best possible care.

It's the only place I've taken my cat. The vet is very kind and even when I was concerned with certain things, she would explain them so I could understand. She cares for my cat just as much as I do. The staff are all kind and know my cat by name. They are very friendly people and I highly recommend going here.

These people CARE about cats, and they don't do the hard sell. You get what you want and if you want special food, or treats, you can get them too. I love CCC, so do Pokie and Lilly.

My cat is seen by his loving and great vet, but was out of a liquid supplement to go alone with his food for his feeding tube...but even with my vets call or discussion of how my cat really NEEDS it they would not sell a couple cans without a full vet visit. $$$$ so sad, shame on them.

Dr. Reesor is a fantastic vet to my two cats and her staff are all wonderful when handling them. The vet I took them to prior was extremely judgmental and rude, but Dr. Reesor is very patient and explains every stage of treatment to where I feel able to make informed decisions.

Dr. Reeser and her staff are the best--very friendly and professional! They've taken exceptional care of our cat for 12 years. Dr. Reeser is very knowledgeable, listens to you and readily answers your questions. We are relocating to another city, and we wish we could take Cat Care Clinic with us. We will miss it!

Best Service Polite & Very Caring ! Our Daughters cat was very old and sick so she had him put to sleep & cremated ! When we picked up his ashes they came in a very nice tin inside a beautiful velvet drawstring bag. The cremation service was not expensive ether Q

They are the best vet I have found in South Bend. They are educational and caring. You will not find a better knowledge of cats in the area than this clinic. They are also extremely competitive in cost and worth every penny.

Pro: Dr. Reeser and her vet tech are very knowledgeable and caring with my cats. She worked well with diagnosing my cat and sharing knowledge on how the disease worked. Cons: The office is unapologetically disorganized. I've been there for about a year and in that time I've had vet reminders sent but no record of the reminder when I call, mislabeled medicine, and appointments scheduled for the wrong cat that ended up not being cancelled after I called. Overall, this place is great to take your cats if you have an urgent or tricky health need. However, I have not had a positive experience with the administrative side. If the workflow improves this could be a great clinic.

I'm disappointed with this Vet. They won't do the testing I need done on one of my kittens to find out if she does have dwarfism. They have no problem vaccinating pregnant cats either! I'll be looking for a new vet because of that one! I have several cats and for a clinic that specializes in cats they don't do a good job! Better than the last one, but I am looking for a vet that actually cares about my animals health! Also the office exam is for each pet brought in which isn't what they tell you. Again another vet who is about the money and not the pet! They could've save my Dwarfism kitten if they actually cared! All she had was bacterial pnuemonia!

In it for the money, my vet recommended that we buy meds from this clinic and they refused unless we paid for a full visit. It’s clear from other reviews that they are greedy.

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!!! almost $200 in unnecessary procedures!! Then.. THEY TRIED TO KEEP MY CAT!!! BECAUSE I COULDN'T PAY THE $197.00 IN BOGUS CHARGES!!!.. they gave my cat test I DID NOT CONCENT FOR!! Gave him vaccines when he DID NOT NEED THEM!! I trusted this vet, to care and protect my fur baby... but she was only interested in taking advantage of me and abusing her power in this place.

I just took my newly adopted cat to the Cat Care Clinic for a general check up. The staff is very nice and seemed to genuinely care about my cat's health. When I brought her back to the exam room the nurse was very kind and tried to calm her down (vets make her nervous!). The vet is really exceptional and listened to my concerns. I left feeling very reassured and my cat is healthy and happy! Thank you Cat Care Clinic :)

I have never been to any clinic for pets that demonstrates as much compassion, dedication, and honesty when dealing with your dear feline and its health issues. I have been bringing my cats here for over 10 years and have had most excellent care for my cats and consideration for myself. Especially when it came to the end for my cats, doctor and staff were beyond the expectation in dealing with the most difficult moment of being a cat owner, would never consider going elsewhere. AAA+++

Absolutely AWFUL! Had our 1 year old rescued female cat spayed & laser declawed on May 13th. It is now the 26th...almost 2 weeks later and $710 paid to the clinic for her ‘care’. Her spaying incision is STILL infected and red. She also has a swollen mammary gland (due to the reaction of our cat’s skin to the incision cut, according to Dr. Reesor, who performed her surgery). I’ve never heard or read anything that states this type of skin reaction occurrence and I have 2 other cats that have been spayed and neutered with zero complications. A fairly standard surgery to perform, and this doctor can’t even manage it and a far less invasive laser claw removal. This is after 2 additional visits back, $90.00 for additional meds, and $40.00 for the first vet return visit charge when her front left paw had two pads that were swollen and splitting open and the spaying incision was infected and red at that point as well. This is on top of the $550.00 we originally paid for the spaying and laser declawing of her front paws. We also had to pay an additional $60.00 out of pocket expense to now purchase items to rewrap and actually protect the infected wound that the wrapping only lasted one day from Dr. Reesor wrapping it on our 2nd return visit. And she thought her wrapping would last 6 days?!! Incompetent is the only word that comes to mind after this experience. $770.00, including our $60.00 out of pocket expense. And our sweet cat is still in an infected, miserable state. Perhaps Dr. Reesor is more skilled at selling her Siamese cats that she advertises in her office that she breeds and sells. We discovered this AFTER we had our cat operated on by her. A vet more interested in making money, breeding, and selling cats rather than rescuing and healing cats is what we believe she is. I’m sorry to say that I would NEVER recommend taking a cat there and putting it under Dr. Reesor’s care. I think she is an unskilled vet when it comes to spaying and even a less invasive laser front paws declawing. I couldn’t even imagine this doctor doing a standard declawing or a more serious surgery. As someone below mentioned, it’s very hard to find good information about where you choose to take your pets to. We had to post this to hopefully give a bit of assistance to help you know what you and your kitties might be in for if you choose to put them in the care of Dr. Reesor. We won’t ever again.

My wife and I took our two cats to this clinic because we noticed some black buildup in their ears and they started to paw at them in discomfort. The general exam with consultation was $50 per cat. They looked them over from head to toe and determined they had ear mites and needed some medication and cleaning. Great! We were relieved to find out it wasn't anything too serious if treated properly. The ear cleaning was $24 per cat and the medication was $25.10 per cat. This brought the total of the visit to $198.20. They told us to come back in three weeks for a checkup to make sure everything was going well. When we got home, I noticed some black stuff still in one of our cat's ear but figured it would go away after a few days. After three weeks, we brought them back to the clinic for a followup exam, as per their request, even though both cats seemed to be doing great and the first visit fixed the ear mite problem. They charged us $40 per cat for the exam/consultation. I was little thrown off by this because they were the ones who told us to come back, but when it's your pet, money doesn't really matter. They said both cats were doing good, took them in the back to clean their ears a bit more, and advised us to get their shots while we were there. The FVRCPC vaccine was $20 per cat and the rabies vaccine was $29 per cat. We didn't get the feline leukemia shot because they are both strictly indoor cats and the vet suggested it wasn't necessary. This brought the visit to a total of $178. Both cats were sleepy from the shots, so we didn't notice much of anything throughout the rest of the day. The following day, however, one of our cats vomited in the morning and could barely walk straight. She kept pawing at her left ear and whenever she shook her head, she would lose her balance and fall over. I knew something was wrong and called the clinic right away. They told us to bring her in. They, again, charged us $40 for the visit and determined she may have an ear infection and a slight fever. They told us they were going to give her something to counteract the vaccine side effects, some fluids, and some medicine for the ear. The charges were $16.40 for otibiotic ointment, $31.77 for cerenia injection, $24 for dexamethasone injection, and $39.46 for lactated ringers injection. This brought the total to $151.63 for this visit. It's only been a day, but I haven't noticed any real improvement in my cat's condition yet. All-in-all, I don't think we will be going back to this clinic. I wrote this review to give you an idea of what to expect because my wife and I tried to do some research before choosing someone but there really isn't any information out there to make an informed decision. Hopefully, this gives you some perspective.

I have my cat, Mig, home with me after extensive treatment and an extended stay at Cat Care Clinic. Mig may be a bit young for the kidney-failure dehydration crash that he suffered last week, but due to the treatment and care he received at Cat Care Clinic, I was able to bring him home today. Dr Reesor and her great staff informed and consoled me even though we didn't yet know the full extent of the serious state that Mig was in. He was examined, tested, treated, boarded and comforted throughout the Thanksgiving week and I was able to visit with him several times. Today, Saturday, I went to Cat Care and Dr Reesor confirmed his suspected renal disease diagnosis. I was taught by the tech how to administer the fluid injections that Mig would need. Then I scooped him up and took him home. As explained to me, Mig has a chronic disease, but right now I am looking at a well treated, completely comfortable, and entirely happy cat. Thanks, Cat Care Clinic!

I went to CCC knowing in advance that their personalities were certainly not what you were paying for BUT it was much worse than that. When I scheduled the appt I was very clear that I was bringing in a stray cat that needed to be vetted, tested, groomed, etc....whatever needed to be done to make sure he was healthy to add to my home since I already have an indoor cat. My appt was 8:30 AM so maybe the techs and office staff didn't have their coffee and chat time completed yet and that was why they watched me struggle with the two entrance doors and an over-sized carrier. Having worked in customer service all of my life and just having common courtesy, I would have thought that others would also think to open the door. Fortunately, I know just enough about introducing strays that I knew the questions to ask because information was not offered at the time of drop off or pick up. I had to inconvenience them with my questions to make sure I was having everything done that needed to be done. There were at least 3-5 employees in the front when I picked my cat up and when I asked, “oh, how did he do?” they all looked at me like I was insane, shrugged their shoulders and said, “I didn’t work on him.” Forget about offering to go check with the person that did work on him… I only went to CCC so I could have the vetting and grooming done on the same day so I didn't stress my new cat out….one that had not been handled that much in his lifetime. I will never go back and I will never recommend. I’m still not sure he was even checked over completely. He has been itching and cleaning himself non-stop since I got him home. Overall, awful experience. Felt like the place was staffed with non-animal loving people and people that had no experience in the vet industry.

Actually I have not been the CCC on Hickory Road, but I worked on Jefferson Street for approximately four years! My intention was to retire when the time came around. I loved working there for the most part and tried to do whatever I was required to do and wanted to improve anything I could do! The clients seemed satisfied with the care of their precious pets. The knowledge of Dr. Reeser and committed staff have helped in many ways for the personal and professional care of the feline breed! I still can remember the cats name better than the clients name! Occasional incidents of conflict, arguments, mistakes, or misunderstandings are expected with most facilities. Dr. Reeser has many responsibilities and can be overwhelming at times. Goes with the territory! She is firm and stubborn from time to time but her knowledge and caring personality is excellent. I am so happy for her with the dream of this clinic. My dream for retiring from CCC was unfortunate with family circumstances that led to things I could not change as well as problems of generation differences . I am so sorry for any misunderstandings. I do hope that making the procedure book has been helpful . Some of the staff helped with this procedure book. I am thankful for the opportunity of working for CCC but mostly for caring of all of the cats! Best regards to Dr. Reeser & staff & all kitties!????????????????????????❗❕

Dr. Reesor saved my cat's life about 7 years ago. I went to CCC for a second opinion after taking my cat to Parrett Vet Clinic in Plymouth and being told she had to have an ultrasound of her liver and they would send me to Purdue. My cat had lost a significant amount of weight and her skin had turned bright yellow. Being alarmed and not having dealt with a very sick cat before, I rushed her to Parrett and they shaved her neck to give her a shot, then said they couldn't do anything for her there. I was not going to Purdue for expensive tests or putting down a cat that was only 5 years old, so I went to CCC for another opinion and after some tests, they put her on prednisone and an antiobiotic. I could already tell a difference in her behavior that night after the very first pill. I was prepared to say goodbye to my cat, thinking she was dying, but she fully recovered within a few days. Dr. Reesor is very knowledgeable about cats and I love the fact that there are no dogs to contend with, like other vets, as my cats were not raised with dogs and freak out around them. CCC is not a cheap clinic, to be sure, you will pay for their expertise. If all you need is a rabies shot or neutering, go to Parrett, but if you have a sick kitty and need an expert, go here.
