I am loving this Argos store, I know that it has taken business from the high street, but since being here it is easier to access plenty of parking, the store is much bigger and has a better range of products in stock. The staff are mostly great (only had a couple who have proven to be either a complete idiot or rude for no apparent reason) the place is usually clean, tidy, and well laid out. And most importantly service is a 1000% better than it used to be.

I would just like to say how helpful Marie was in store at Ilkeston. I came back with a tricky Love2shop gift card query on a weekend and she gave them a call only for them to be closed but she took copies of receipts and my phone number and said she’d call Monday. I was very happy for her to call me back Monday morning with everything sorted out. So thank you so much Marie ????

Called in today 10/11/19 to pick up eBay item from eBay collection point. after waiting 20 minutes was told by a member of staff that they was busy and to come back another day. Customer service absolutely abysmal.

So disappointed shop closed doors early this evening. Was only a couple of minutes but meant I raced from the other side of Nottingham to pick something up for my daughters birthday tomorrow and couldn’t collect. Appreciate staff want to go home but should stay open til advertised time

We went to collect an online order but realised we couldnt fit it all in the car.. the problem was sorted by JAMIE, within 2 minutes he'd organised next day delivery with a 3 hour time slot...excellent stress free experience. Would highly recommend.

Went to pick up my Amazon order following the notification saying it's ready for collection. Only went to found out, it isn't there and they are out of stock. Obviously I was bamboozled by the lack of communication and their management was just most unhelpful batting me off to their head office to complain (I later found out that it's not guaranteed I'd get a response from them). It's yet again going round in circles with Argos and their staff in the Ilkeston store is the perfect representation of the shoddy customer service with "can't be bothered" attitude this company is.

In the era of making customer service easier, Argos is most probably the only Retailer that makes this difficult. So I`m having an issue with a fitbit and first contacted the Argos online chat to find out the way forward and was advised that I need to go to the Agros store of purchase for further help which I did today and this is were their unique silly service comes to play.At the store they give you contact number to phone Fitbit customer care which could of been told to me during the online chat,tried doing this from the Argos store but Argos staff were not very accommodating with a charging point for the device so I Speak to Pete the Manager about the waste of time in this stupid process and he says that is the process and you have to come in store to be told this and unfortunately that the way it is, Argos do better and teach your management about using their discretion. Unbelievable service arrogant service and thanks for wasting my time

Absolute rubbish customer service. The staff are miserable, dreed it if you are buying more than one item, you spend quite a fair amount of money on items, only for staff to Suddenly ' walk off ' leaving you with items, to pack yourself. When viewing items the girl assistant wants the customer to open the box because she doesn't want to damage her manicured nails. If I could give this store a zero star rating I would.

Signed for an eBay parcel, then lost it and denied any responsibility. Manager was unhelpful, didn't call back. On arrival at the store we witnessed him using scissors to open someone else's parcel to check it wasn't ours, so be aware that this manager Bray couldn't care less about your goods. I am writing to Argos to complain officially. 2 stars because previous experiences have been positive.

Great staff normally happy to help, come in regularly to collect EBay purchases and it's easy and fast. Can get very busy at periods and you might have a bit of a wait around holiday periods but it's pretty well run compared to some other Argos stores

Everything we've had from argos has had to go back for being faulty or broke after so long was told by customer services to take a shark hoover back to store they no longer accept hoovers back in store after driving 25 mins to get there. Staff can be rude depending on there mood n day.
