Very compassionate and gentle when I had my dog put to sleep. they've been taking care of her since she was 6 months old. Make things more comfortable for myself. Will bring any other pets that I get to them. Very knowledgeable doctors and staff.

Great vet office with friendly, efficient & knowledgable staff. Live east of Madison, but well worth the drive. Last fall I saved over $500 just on my dog's teeth cleaning ($640 local estimate vs $125). I'm usually very loyal to the local vets, but just can't ignore the vast difference in pricing and the confidence I have in the Portage Veterinary Clinic staff. I've referred several people that have been very happy. Keep up the good work!

Been here in Portage over 10 years and sure glad we found them. Had to put down one of our dogs and these guys even sent us a sympathy card. Did more than can be expected of a vet, having had other vets and lost dogs this way. Of course we ditto all the kind comments. These days with the virus stuff they are going out of their way to deal with it.

I absolutely recommend this veterinary clinic. I have been going here for 10 years with my pets. They are very compassionate and give extra care that goes far and beyond what they do so your pet has that extra care. I love taking my pets here and know they are in excellent care!

I recently had two experiences with this clinic; one with Stanley my cat and the other with Seymour my dog. Stanley was an emergency with pancreatitis and both Dr. Cooper and his staff were AMAZING with turning his life around! Seymour, our dog went in for a routine teeth cleaning and he is doing marvelously! Everyone is fantastic and caring! I feel the prices are very fair and affordable. I absolutely love bringing my pets here for the wonderful care and treatment they receive. Thank you all for everything you do!

Dr. Cooper and his staff are AMAZING. They are very knowledgeable and honest. Their prices are super cheap compared to Madison. We drive from Monona to Portage because he is that good. Thank you Dr. Cooper. BEST vet we have ever had. Jasmine is our "baby" and he takes excellent care of her.

Staff is very friendly, caring for you pet and helpful/knowledgeable. Our dogs like coming here even if it's for shots, tails start waging when we pull up. They have improved their appointment availability & @ times you can get in the same day. Prices are a bit higher than other places, but building is very nice & well kept.

Very informative staff. We have been using this clinic for a few years and have always had a great experience. My dog gets pretty spazzy (squirmy and pees when he gets nervous) and they handle him with love and care at every visit.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The facility is nice and clean. I was very impressed by Dr. Ainsworth and how attentive she was with my dog. She was willing to get right down there on the floor with her. The prices are also very reasonable here, I think. Would recommend this vet to anyone. :)

Took Duke in for a nail trim and Shelby for her puppy shots. Duke hates getting his nails done but they worked their magic and got them trimmed without any issues, other than he didn't want to go back to a room!

Very nice people and wonderful service. Quick to take care of emergency appointments in a timely fashion for regular appointments to get through. Seems like there should be one person just to take care of the phone calls for how busy they are.

Had an emergency with our kitty, he was hit by a car and called my vet and she was busy in surgery. So I call a few other area vets and the Portage Vet Clinic was able to save our kitty..he received great care immediately...and at an affordable cost!
