Really great experience, found problem instantly and offered really competitive price to fix.
This problem had been missed by countless MOTs and Services by other garages, despite me consistently mentioning a noise from my front left they kept reporting no issues.
Fortunately I was listened too at castle garage, they took it out for a drive and instantly noticed the noise and source! They offered a fix and now my car is driving silently for first time in two years!

Visited castle garage late last night just as they were closing with a terrible noise coming from my car. They advised they could look at it but didn't have any space to work on it the next day. Advised them I was a community nurse and it was my only day off. Lovely bloke behind the counter said to leave my car with him, he didn't know how he would do it but he would as nurses are needed during this terrible time. Got a call this morning to say car was fixed. They didn't even charge me for my repairs. Could not be more greatful. They have certainly gained a customer for life. What an amazing act of kindness.

Please avoid. communicated well when i explained my issues however when we had the service it was poor. The quality was poor, asked the owner who once again was great at responding, agreed to refund, apologised... then ghosted me and never refunded me. Paypal luckily, were on my side. I wouldnt recommend. Sorry.

Easy booking system which allowed me to book online with no hassle (and fitted in with my busy working day). Polite staff, including mechanics who took the time to ask how I am. Been using this garage since I moved to the area about 3 years ago, and use them for all my repairs and MOT’s. The staff have always been friendly and explained to me what work has been carried out, and let me know if there were any delays.

Brilliant garage- I’ve used them for the last 7 year since moving to Ashby. They’ve serviced my car every year and MOT’d it. There’s been times I’ve told them to go ahead with any work up to £1000 and I’ve come back to a £47 bill because it didn’t need all the work doing. They won’t rip you off, they’re honest and reliable and my go to garage.

I brought in an old BMW Z4, purchased just before lock-down. It needed servicing, new tyres and the door mechanism fixing. All sorted, no trouble. I'd Googled how much it should cost to have the door fixed, and they charged me less. They also did a full inspection, and didn't recommend any further work, which is nice because you don't want unnecessary work done. Covid-19 precautions seemed pretty robust, which is important for me. I'd definitely use Castle Garage again.

A brilliant garage, as a woman who knows nothing about cars it’s scary to trust businesses. But this garage are always honest, explain things and show me what’s wrong. They always check the price with me and at times they’ve charged me less than they quoted because they’ve managed to do it in a simpler way taking less time. I love the garage and recommend it

While caravaning near Ashby the car developed a fluid leak that I couldn't identify. As I was towing a caravan with the wife and 2 ankle biters over 100miles the day after I was concerned it may be the gearbox fluid. Just happened to be in Ashby and happened upon Castle Garage. Despite being chokka they made the time to give the old motor the once over. I was given a 3hr window and bang on 3 hrs later I got their call that the engine was ok and it was minor steering fluid leak.
On picking up the car my offer of payment was politely declined.
The family and I thoroughly appreciate the professional, friendly and generous attitude of Castle Garage and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to everyone.

It takes a long time to find a honest, trust worthy, friendly independent garage however Castle Garage tick all those boxes. Chris and his team have looked after my 14 year old Audi for a number of years with various tasks such as MOTs, services, repairs and maintenance. Can honestly say I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else!

I’ve taken my vans into Castle Garage for services and MOTs over the last 6 - 7 years and have always been impressed by their professional service and helpfulness. They are always efficient, polite and welcoming and I’ve always been completely happy with their work and the price. They are always keen to help, even with the smallest of jobs, ie changing a brake light, which was a £5 job, in which they replaced within 5 minutes of asking. Excellent garage and highly recommended.

After having my wheel bearing replaced at £166.32p the same noise reappeared 50 miles after use so I phoned the garage up and was told it may need "bedding in" and phone back in a weeks time if the problem persists. A few days later whilst going to a work the noise became so loud and my abs light came on I had to go to the nearest garage "eden tyres" as I was worried my wheel would fall off! Whilst inspecting they found a huge amount of play in the new bearing, the lower wishbone clamp bolt mashed and the abs sensor held on with silicone as it was partly snapped. I'm absolutely shocked and disgusted. Never will I use or recommend this company again.
