Why do they think its OK to make the lottery/ cigarette counter count as the customer service station? This is not acceptable for many reasons. Started using One-stop for both lottery and cigarettes. Although its further it's quicker!

Like the self scan as you go which means you can keep an easy tally of how much you are spending and quick checkout as no queue. However staff seem to be around when you want to ask them something. Out of date butters found more than once.

As an NHS worker who finds it impossible to go shopping, their priority service on Monday, Wednesday and Friday is absolutely woeful. I only popped in to buy two things and I still had to queue up for ages until the doors opened at 8am making me late for work. I might as well not have bothered.

Plenty of choice and reasonable prices, lots of bargains to be found but do check the main isles and don't assume that end of isle displays are the ultimate bargain... sometimes these are actually a little more expensive than the main display.

i do my shopping here every sunday and never had a bad experience - staff are always friendly and i can always get what i need. They have several checkouts, 4 self scan with a belt, many quick self scans and a scan and go. There is a cafe, a pharmacy and clothing department. There also have a photo booth and a coinstar. Restrooms too.
