I appreciate the No pressure atmosphere in Herb Chambers Honda. The entire staff was professional, polite, and got me into the vehicle I selected. I got a very good trade in value for my car and the vehicle I purchased was also discounted. I also appreciate the entire staff practicing safe protocol to protect themselves and customers from spreading the covid virus. Brian my sales professional was knowledgeable and allowed me to test drive the vehicles that interested me. Since I stayed through lunch he personally bought my lunch…. All and all, I am 100% happy with my experience at Herb Chambers Honda.

I had a GREAT experience recently with Chris and Mary!! It was probably the most seamless car buying process I’ve ever had!! The dealership even handled all the annoying stuff like registering the car with my insurance company and getting an inspection sticker! I picked up my new car, all registered and insured, freshly cleaned and detailed, and was ready to go! Thank you so much to the entire team at Herb Chambers Honda in Boston!

This place is unethical all the way around. They listed a used vehicle with photos representing a Honda Pilot that was not damaged. I asked the sales consultant several times if the car had been in an accident and I was told no. I visited the dealership to look at the Honda Pilot and was headed for a test drive when the salesperson told me the car was just hit. Do yourself a favor and shop at another Honda dealership where you will be treated with respect.

I went in to purchase my new car and I got the best customer service experience ever! I was created by my sales agent Giselle Gomez at the entrance and escorted into the dealership with top notch 100% service. The finance manager Dwayne was able to make my dream come true by making sure I was eligible to get the car I wanted. He explained the process and helped me with everything and and even checked in after I picked up the car to make sure I was happy! I truly appreciate the Honda team they are by far the best in the game!! Go get your Honda! ☺️

I tried to get an oil change and made an appointment on line. They said it would be 2.5 hours even with an appointment? The parking lot is HORRIBLE with no where to park and cars EVERYWHERE. I’ll go to my regular Honda dealership (Commonwealth Motors) where customer service is top notch and they actually have a reasonable parking lot. Apparently the trip is well worth it, at least in my opinion. Not impressed with this place at all. First and last time coming here.

So the truth is that I had some surprise expenses during my visit to this dealer. Which... fine, the car is 8 years old. But from the minute I walked in the door to picking up my car, DJ provided exceptional customer service. He was transparent, communicative, and made me laugh. He answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable. Kudos to DJ on exceptional customer service and for having a sense of humor even though I’m sure he gets yelled at entirely too much. You made my experience here a pleasure.

Horrible experience, we leased a Honda Civic at the end of the 3 years agreement decided to buy it. The car is in brand new condition with only 2800 miles on it. We went two weeks ago there, agreed on the final price paid it off and did sign all the paperwork. We were told to come this past weekend again to leave the car for the plates and sign the contract. We did go early morning signed the “Purchase Contract” act and left with a rental. Later on received a call from DJ service manager telling us that we had to pay additional 1200$ because car needs service and exactly for three items: 1.change cabin air filter, 2. Change windshield wipers, 3. Clean the brake rotors for the front wheels. Told him absolutely not, we did agree and sign the contract on the final price and everything should be included. DJ Threatened us to take the car back, if we do not pay. Once we refused he lowered the price to 827$. Explains to him two things this is a brand new car with only 2800 miles on it and he was trying to rip us off, and they are going to give the car back to us because the contract was signed and they took the money already. Had to go back there the same day, speak to another manager and take the car.

It was a bumpy ride finding the right car but... team work makes the dream work!! Thanks to my sales guy George Chandler, General Manager Tom Pasquarella and Danny, I walked out (or better yet.. drove off) with the perfect car. They went above and beyond to make me feel confident in what I was purchasing. Even though this is a Honda dealership I purchased a Toyota Corolla and it was in pristine conditions. George did all my paperwork fast and he was reliable whenever I needed to reach him. Danny and Tom didn’t stop their search until I had the car I wanted. Will definitely be sending friends and family to this dealership and I sincerely recommend it to anyone that is looking for a good car with honest sales personnel. THANK YOU GEORGE!! THANK YOU TOM!! Scheduled an appointment for an oil change. Been waiting for an hour and a half now. Guy just said probably another half hour. Don’t know why they bother scheduling appointments at all. Wish I could say this is my first bad experience with them but it’s not. When I leased my car they lost the keys and then didn’t put the right stickers on my car so I got a ticket. Do everything you can to avoid this place.

Services was done flawlessly and the communication - before, during, & after - was flawless. Another mechanic told me the grinding noise my HRV was making was a transmission problem and I needed to take it to the dealer to get the transmission replaced. So, I brought the car back to Herb Chambers where I bought it. I certainly won’t be taking it anywhere else again. Sean was puzzled to hear that someone thought there was something wrong with my car’s transmission when there was no error code, so he gave the car to Rick to inspect. Rick quickly found rocks from the gravel in my alley had gotten wedged between the transmission and the frame and fixing the noise was as simple as getting a screwdriver and pushing the rocks out. How a shop that promised a “full visual inspection” missed ROCKS in a transmission they swore needed replacing is beyond me. Since I was there anyway, Sean arranged to do 30,000 mile service I was due for. He went over every detail with me and didn’t charge for an oil change, as I had just done one recently, or removing the rocks. I really appreciate the personalized service and the attention to detail. I truly notice a difference in the car - it runs like new. I absolutely won’t be taking my car anywhere else.

Tom the GM is a class act. I bought my Honda Insight from here and anything I needed help with, he was extremely attentive. The whole dealership cares. You no longer feel like you’re dealing with the “car sales people of the world” when you’re going to this dealership. Pricing was great as well for the vehicle. Anyone who writes a bad reviews here clearly has not been to this dealership. Perhaps it’s competitors? I got the price I wanted on a 2021 Honda Odyssey but it was absolutely not worth the headaches that followed. I purchased a car on Wednesday after phone tag with sales. Signed papers Wednesday and then was told the car wasn’t ready and because they had to go get it from another dealer, it wasn’t in the inventory yet. My husband came back the next day to complete the sale. When he arrived, they realized the VIN didn’t match the van shown so they needed to go get the right van and sent my husband home in a dealer car. It was delivered to our home that night. First thing the next morning, the display screen was cutting out and pixelated. I called that afternoon and was told the soonest my NEW van could be fixed was Monday. When my husband called the GM, they squeezed him in the next day. The problem was not resolved and was told to return Monday. Herb Chambers did pay for Ubers during the interim. Because the dealer made time promises that they couldn’t keep, mistakes were made. The display screen was corrected. Tom the general manager and Sean the technician made it very clear that they were working fast and “jumping through hoops” for us. However, it doesn’t change the fact that many mistakes were make in our car buying process. I truly never want to step foot in Herb Chambers Honda Boston again - not even for a simple oil change. I’m disgusted by the entire process.

Terrible experience. Called to confirm a car was still for sale. Drove 45 minutes to see the car. Arrived within 2 hours of my call. Received a call from them when I was minutes away confirming that I was coming in. Yet, when I arrived the car was no longer available. Classic bate and switch. The manager told me he had great news which was that he had a new car costing $11,000 more than the one I had come in to see to show me. No thanks!. What a waste of my time. The facility is old, dingy and I wouldn't trust anyone in there. Don't shop here.

Brian McCaffrey was the sales consultant I met with and was absolutely amazing. He listened to what I was looking for, explained all the details/steps clearly and went above and beyond to help the process move quickly. Chris Purcell, the pre-owned manager, had overheard my car situation and suggested a car they had just received at the dealership (the one I ended up purchasing). Contacting these people regarding bad service is pointless. The GM leaves automated responses and did not look into my wife’s concern. All her belongings were stolen while waiting for service!!! They’ll call you to trade your car, I guess when you don’t they’ll steal your stuff!! Gm response: I am very unhappy to hear of your negative experience. Our team strives for excellence in customer service each and every time. I apologize. My husband and I went in to Herb Chambers Honda dealership on a rainy Presidents Day. We both were not looking forward to the 'car hunt'. We did not intend to purchase a car that day but we knew we needed to start looking. All our expectations about car buying went out the window when we met Brian McCaffrey. We visited Herb Chambers Honda to look at a used 2017 Ford F150 and met with Brian McCaffrey. If you are a person who hates the stereotypical shmoozing while you look at used cars, then look no further... Brian is AMAZING! He stood & chatted with me (not the truck buyer) out in the rain until all questions were answered, was friendly, personable & just a pleasure to chat with. Although we plan to check out other trucks elsewhere, Brian made sure we had everything we needed to make appropriate comparisons at other dealerships. The team members give me little to no information on the services they propose for my older vehicle and they don't explain things well. I feel taken advantage of. I had very bad experience on this dealer. We went to this place for Honda CR-V. The person who manages the price quote, has very rough behavior. As a customer, I have the right to ask lower price. He said, ''buy the car. To be nice to you guys, I may pay $500 from my pocket''. They were not willing to sell the car to us. The conversation session was rough and tough. If I could, then I should give negative review. This place is not recommendable to anyone, who are investigating their own money and time. Nothing positive to about this place

I have been car shopping at different dealerships this past year and this has been the most negative experience I have ever had. I went in to test drive a civic and after I did I wanted to find out the exact monthly payment I would have to make before I purchased the car. The dealer gave me a rough estimate, but I needed to know the exact amount before committing to the purchase. I also explained that I needed to get the down payment as well before proceeding. These two things should have made them aware I was NOT buying the car that day, but was just trying to gather some information. Instead they made me wait around and finally took me into a room with a worker who was trying to get my title information on my current car. I stopped him and said, "What?! I'm not buying the car today, I just wanted to get some info on it and then I'll be back in a few days to purchase the car." He was irritated and took me into a room with the manager and the dealer. They were upset and tried to convince me to purchase the car at that exact moment, saying it wouldn't be available the next day. I said that I honestly didn't have the money and that I was just trying to get an exact amount on the monthly payment. The sales manager was mad and exited the room abruptly. He acted like I wasted his time. I never did get the exact amount for my monthly payment. I was honestly going to get the info I needed so I could get the money and come back the next day to buy the car. They lost out on a sale because of their assuming and poor behavior. I
