Booked an appointment to view some samples turned up at the time booked they had no idea we were coming and rushed to get some samples together
We did buy a carpet because we new what we wanted
Fitter turned up even though we had snow but he had no mask and with wet shoes up and down the stairs and on the new carpet he was fitting .
he made a good job though
BUT BUYING AND FITTING WAS NOT VERY COVID SECURE ???

All I can say is the carpet looks lovely. The service was shoddy though unfortunately hence my 2 stars. I explained that I needed a carpet fitted in a rental property which I don't live anywhere near. The day before they tell me I need to pay the fitter by cash or cheque once the job is completed. Apparently the invoice explained this but it'd been hand posted to the rental property (not my home address) in question a few days before. I'd planned to have someone living closer to go across and let the fitter in as I wouldn't make it there and back in time for the school run living at quite a distance but asking that person to now pay 5he fitter for me 2as quite embarrassing. I was told I could pay the fitter separately over the phone but I'd be charged an extra £20 odd. They gave me a time slot between 9:30-10:30am but the fitter arrived at 8:45am calling to ask when he'd be let in. On top of this the fitting dept insisted that new underlay was needed. From what myself and my partner saw there was nothing wrong with the original and the fitter agreed, it was in perfect condition. So I feel rather ripped off. Moral of the story is I'll never use Colourbank again.

Very little help on arrival unfortunately, so we left and will spend our money elsewhere. I found one of the staff members on the floor somewhat condescending, as it almost seemed too much trouble to answer a simple query. Very odd approach to customer service indeed... On a positive, the selection of carpets is large with plenty of choice... just be prepared for awful service!

Colourbank really helped me out when my Nan (who has dementia) needed a new floor after a pipe burst in her bathroom. I don’t live in the same city so I couldn’t go to the shop and pick out the flooring. They made a difficult situation easy, sending me pictures of potential lino replacements and getting the job done quickly. So grateful for their help. Would not hesitate to return. We ordered carpets for the whole house from colourbank with no trouble from start to finish! Our carpets were fitted today and they all look great! The fitters Nick and Micheal were absolutely great and we appreciate that they came In these difficult times! Big thank you to both of them! Also to the lady sorted getting them fitted she were really lovely thank you! ????

1. They refused to deliver all the laminate. Only delivered it when I threatened to make a claim with my credit card company.
2. THEY SAID THEY WOULD GIVE A DISCOUNT IF I PAID IN CASH BECAUSE THEY SAVE TAX - I RECORDED THIS CALL AND WILL BE PASSING IT TO HMRC
3. Their fitter refuses to finish the job and the store tell me they don't care.

I went to the Colourbank store today, good to see COVID-19 measures in place. Myself and my husband are both exempt. We both have certification to support this. Unfortunately, when in the store we approached an elderly man, the manager of the store, to ask for a quote on a carpet. He rather rudely asked us if we were exempt from wearing a mask, to which we replied yes. He then with a scowling face and an aggressive tone asked for our proof. Although we had our exemption documents with us, I advised that he was actually not within his rights to ask us for this under government ruling. It’s against the law. As I was explaining this to him, my husband was actually showing his exemption to the man. His response was not to discuss my statement but to merely argue aggressively with me saying, repeatedly, that I was wrong. Even though my husband showed this to him on the government website. I have never met such a rude and pigheaded man in my life. With this attitude he lost a customer and as the manager of the store is a disgraceful reflection on Colourbanks morales.

Kev and I have always dealt with Dave at the Crest Rise branch of Colour bank. Dave has always provided an excellent service, including when things went wrong. From start to finish Dave provided an excellent service and ensured that all problems incurred were resolved quickly and efficiently. Dave always ensures that you are a happy customer and could not do enough for us. Dave is an asset to Colour Bank and they are lucky to have him. Thank you Dave!

On survey prior to any potential job going forward EVERYTHING TO DO WITH MY VINYL FLOOR INSTALLATION WAS AN APPARENT PROBLEM..!
I had 2 other quotes from local compaines similar to Colourbank and they couldn't understand what the issue was.?
The gentleman seemed a nice guy but all the ooo's and aaah's made me feel like like when the price finally came it was going to be extortionate.
Before he even gave me a price I said I'll get it done elsewhere and thanks for your time.
IMO from a National Sales Managers perspective the pitch was poor and extremely off putting. He'd lost me 2 minutes after walking in the door.
The jobs been done now and was seamless from start to finish.

We managed to get 2 decent double bed mattress and Divan bed frame here. They were reasonably priced, good quality and relatively quick delivery. One star subtracted for delivery drivers not wanting to cover shoes on my carpet!

So much choice from rugs and carpets to laminate and all reasonably priced. The staff are really helpful and knowledgeable about the products and were able to advise what would be better suited to us. We hit a potential problem just before having new laminate laid down but they sent a fitter round a few days before to reassess and come up with a plan of action for any situation. All in all really pleased and we will definitely use them again.

Fab, as always. Have been buying beds and carpets from Cavendish road for over 30 years but went to the Hamilton branch for the first time and was amazed at the size and choice of both beds and carpets. Staff were as usual friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Good parking, super clean toilets with disabled access and a great price on a bed. Job done!

Have used Colourbank since it started and have always been satisfied with service, choice and price. Had a bed delivered on Sunday, Clive and Charlie removed the old bed and matress and placed the new one exactly where we wanted it. Efficient service with a smile.

Originally went to carpetright to get a carpet and underlay for my sons room and the staff were rude, had no clue what they was doing and the price they quoted was daylight robbery. Someone recommended these guys to me so I went and visited them and the customer service was another level, polite, helpful, and took us to exactly what we wanted. They showed me a variety of options and I went for a better quality carpet and underlay than I chose at carpet right, and the price was over £100 cheaper!! Also they had wide range and fast availability of when they could fit the carpet. Nathan the carpet fitter was absolutely fabulous, he arrived prompt on time, was friendly and polite, and done an amazing job of fitting the carpet to a high standard. It looks lovely and I am so happy! I would definitely recommend this company and Nathan the carpet fitter, they was fab!! Thanks guys will be coming back to you when I need more carpets!
