I’m not sure if people have had experiences with different staff here but my encounter with the two ladies I dealt with last weekend was nothing but pleasant. I was allowed to sniff away and ask questions about Yankee candles to my heart’s content, with one of the lady’s even gift wrapping one for me right before closing time. I think this store is really well presented and it had a lot of nice things inside it that I enjoyed looking at.

Always good, polite, friendly service but notably so today when I dropped and smashed a large Yankee candle. Obviously I was embarrassed and offered to pay, several times, but the assistant calmly and kindly swept up, reassured me and declined to allow me to pay for it. I will make this my only card shop henceforth. I owe them!

Within 24 hours the foil helium I bought is now touching the floor. I bought a similar balloon two weeks ago, which has also deflated considerably. Rubbish and not fit for purpose! I am hugely disappointed and have two very sad birthday girls. Thinking of getting a helium balloon? Shop somewhere else. These are clearly cheap imitations!

Staff are ignorant , Yankee candles are over priced and don't deserve any trade . Don't normally comment but felt that this shop and the people that work there are underhanded in the way they do business.
