Love going to Habitat and seeing all the amazing colourful bits and bobs that they sell! Always great service with the friendly staff! It’s one of those shops that you will always treat yourself to something from!!

Lovely shop, very good staff. Welcome back to Brighton Habitat, I couldn’t be happier to have you back. I’ve always shopped with habitat but has always needed to be online due to no local shop near me, until now. I would recommend anyone who has not been in to have a look yet, to do so. You will not be disappointed. The staff member who served me , was fantastic. Unfortunately I did not catch his name, but he was a younger man, very chatty, very helpful and could not do enough for me. A very satisfied customer, I will be shopping here all the time????

I found this a pretty dismal store experience. Most of the stuff on display is not in stock and must be ordered. The store is spacious and bright but was almost empty of customers. The staff looked bored. I also had to phone the store. Repeatedly the call was picked up by answer machine. I did leave a message, but no one called back. I eventually went into the store, which was very quiet, and told them I'd called. " Well, the phone hasn't rung", they said. I told them it was on answer machine and they seemed surprised. But no apology or any signs of remorse. I do hope this fairly new store succeeds in Brighton but I'm afraid my experience is avoid the store and do it online.

This is my first review of a shop, I don’t normally do this but I must say, I was blown away. What an amazing place! I wanted to share my experience, and could not disagree more with the negative comments posted on here. Some of the positive comments I can certainly relate too. The staff are always helpful, very knowledgable and the shop has beautiful products, perfectly displayed and at a fair price for the quality your getting (Unlike some of these other shops around town that sell cheap knock offs). I shop here weekly just to see what’s new, and most of the time, just to get some inspiration for my newly purchase house. Brilliant shop, so glad to have Habitat back in Brighton. I hope this message reaches the right persons to pass my feedback on.

Amazing!! So much to see and great quality for the prices. Incredible displays which are very powerful and makes me want to come in just to have a look. Wonderful shop, wonderful staff members who clearly know their stuff! I would recommend

Fantastic store. I normally shop for bargains in places like The Range, Homesense, however, i walked passed the shop whilst in town the other day and thought i'd have a look as at first sight it looked enticing. I ended up spending £200+!! I was greeted straight away like being in a hotel! I was spoken to by several members of staff who were all more than happy to help and advise, but weren't too pushy and trying a hard sell. They knew their stuff too, which is nice to know they had good training as other shops i go into you can tell the colleagues are disinterested and unknowledgable. There was an issue on the till when i went to pay, and i had 2 managers both almost running over to help me! Overall, a really lovely customer experience in a shop i wouldn't normally even step foot in.

Exceptional customer service in store. Beautiful shop at fair prices for the quality you get. Managers are very helpful and staff always keen to help, I would recommend to all my friends and family.

I would say this is a showroom rather than a proper shop. Many of the items on display have to be ordered by the staff and then delivered to your home on a later date. There is only one desk available to place an order and a queue can form very quickly, resulting in a lot of waiting around. Also, there is an additional £15 charge on top of what you buy for the compulsory delivery service. There are a wide range of household items on display across two floors, but there isn’t a huge amount of floor space; thus it feels a little cluttered and a bit like an obstacle course at busy times. The staff are friendly and there are plenty on hand to offer assistance. However, when i decided to order some dining chairs a long and slightly disorderly queue had formed because it was busy and only one member of staff had been allocated to this task. The queue took some time to move whilst other customers in front placed orders and / or realised they were in the wrong queue. A paper sign on the neighbouring desk stated no furniture orders at this desk. Other staff were on hand, but did not step in to help reduce the queue for furniture orders, even when the queue on the neighbouring desk had cleared. It seems there is no focus on where staff are best placed to serve their customers when the demand arises. Perhaps just teething problems in these early days. Let’s hope it improves. I

Habitat sell some brilliant homewares and they're not too expensive, especially with their regular 20% off weekends. But this store is hopeless - hardly anything in stock and I made the mistake of ordering something in store for home delivery which should have taken 3-5 working days. A month later I hadn't received anything despite calling the store (nobody answers and I left several messages) and emailing them (no reply) and general customer services couldn't help because it wasn't an online order. So frustrating! Eventually got sorted via Twitter DM which was super responsive. (Should have learned my lesson, but ordered a light fitting which didn't work in the space, but couldn't return it as their returns period for all online orders (not sale) is apparently 14 days - useless!)

Oh joy! A Habitat shop with wonderful items and great staff. It was worth visiting Brighton from Birmingham just to find my favourite shop of all time.

Ghastly. Customers told to wear masks, yet three out of the four staff I saw were not wearing them.

Firstly the shop is far to small.Ground floor and basement(lift available) but very small pay point areas and people fighting to get buy. Nothing was priced. Staff unidentifiable as they all wore street clothes and did not wear badges. I would not return.

The new Habitat store in Brighton will form part of the Hanningtons Estate redevelopment in the popular Brighton Lanes shopping area. Ranged over two floors, the 6,500 sq ft store will showcase around 3,000 Habitat products, with inspirational room settings and an innovative workshop and events space.
