Loved the gallery. It's a famous art gallery and almost everyday there is an exhibition or two.
There is also a store at the ground floor to buy postcards/souvenirs. The interior of this place was magnificent. Loved visiting there.

Simply the best Modern Art gallery in Birmingham within a unique setting of an old school house designed by Martin and Chamberlain.
Great exhibitions which genuinely inspire and showcase super talent. Everything from the lift to the loo's have been thought about.
Don't forget to check out the uber cool cafe to get a caffeine fix.

Lovely little museum of contemporary exibitions. There is an unusual lift, if you visit the museum do use it. The little shop is full of interesting books and more. The cafè is nice but a bit expensive.

The building itself was very interesting. An old building renovated and new architecture locked onto it. No easy task. However the displays were a waste of time. Unfortunately contemporary art is not my sot of thing - each to their own. I didn't think the use of space was at all effective. Very disappointed.

The galleries are spacious and when we went, week laid out. Don't know about other exhibitions. The cafe was very good value with about interesting menu. As it is in the middle of the historic part of the city, it is worth stopping to have a look at what is on display.
