Felt a little underwhelmed by my visit, had to walk up the hill due to police closure only to find that that park had little to offer. The "famous" view while vast is from a unflattering position with the best of London on the horizon. Views from other areas like even Blythe hill are superior. In terms of things to do there isn't much and it is comparable with crystal palace at best. Wouldn't make a big deal about the place and an effort to get to in future

Lovely picnic in the park during a sunny spring afternoon. The south facing slope is perfect for soaking up the warm afternoon rays and with the city as your backdrop in the distance... what more could you ask for! Food and a bar now available from pub up vans in the park itself (at the top of the hill, to the west) and toilets!

Went to the drive-in cinema here and it was a very fun evening! Excellent screen and sound quality (each car is given a speaker) and the food was great. We will definitely be returning.

Absolutely gorgeous place. Breathtaking view of London from the top. The Palace itself looks magnificent. Great place for running, walking, or just having a picnic. Pet-friendly and good for playing with dogs. Every time I go, it makes me feel happier. There's a small lake as well with funny-looking boats and a lot of ducks.

This is my go-to place for all major events throughout the year. It has the best view ever of London. They hold the 5th November and NYE fireworks (in normal times - prior C-19). They also hold food festivals, ice skating events, concerts, shows, amongst many, many others. It is perfect venue, however it is great also for walking, spending the day, having an ice cream, bringing the children to run and play.

Lovely place with gardens and go ape play ground, coffee shop open and toilets that could do with maintenance. Paddle boat rides open on cost £18,for 4 people for 30 minutes, we went round 3 times,it was fun, lots going on in May with open drive in cinema, ice rink open 12th May 2021,can't wait for it to open, there's lots of open space across the road from there and lots to explore it has a Lovely view of London you can see the chard and walkytalky building from there amazing!.

Visited the Terrace - great food and beers and the view over London was fantastic. We walked along the old railway line from Finsbury Park - 4 miles 1.5 hours as a leisurely amble, well worth doing to whet the appetite!

We made a booking weeks in advance, but they sat us next to the toilets. I had to go ask to be moved to any of the empty tables by the rail, which looked over the city. Still, they moved us to the middle and sat walk-ins in the best tables. It’s unfortunate since we were looking forward to our time there. Staff was great and attentive otherwise!

Views here are amazing, you can see views from east to south from this North London viewing point! I come from west London and come here weekly to get some peace and enjoy the views!

Great spot to view the London city skyline. Easy access to parking. Nice walks around the palace. The palace itself was really nicely renovated for an ice rink and other amenities. Grab a pizza or sandwiches and have a great picnic with some fresh air and wonderful views.

This Victorian Palace of the People / The People’s Palace was renamed Alexandra Palace (known to Londoners as Ally Pally) to commemorate Prince Edward’s marriage to the popular Princess Alexandra of Denmark in 1863 (Wikipedia). This huge exhibition / music venue houses an ice rink, theatre and pub with incredible panoramic views across London.

A nice park to walk around. It has a nice view of the city, perfect to see the sunset or the lights of the city at night.

Visited the beer garden. Good place to have a drink but make sure you book as it was fully booked and turning those away who did not have bookings.

Really beautiful, the terrace pub has opened up and the park in front is beautiful. The paths are not very well lit. Can be steep in some areas, but that's half the charm as the views are incredible over London.

ZERO STARS if this review allowed it! The Terrace restaurant and bar was the most awful experience as we all try to return to eating out in a normal way. Everything is ordered via a poorly-designed app which crashed several times before we could place our order. I gave up and left to go and get a decent takeaway elsewhere. My companions stayed and were each served this paper bag of 'food' which cost £9!! Free advice: pick up a few supermarket beers and take your own picnic - you won't regret it.

The views are breathtaking over London. A slight head scratched on what to do with this place. The hall are used for evens, an ice rink, Go ape and a pleasant pond with cafe. However slightly sad that this landmark of North London is not used and enjoyed more. It needs more life breathed into it, it's worth the journey up the hill.

Massive park with famous views over London. There's lots to do here in a family friendly way...adventure playground, paddle boats, skate ramp, ice rink, cafe etc Lots events through the year, probably the best fireworks display in London.

I have given 3 stars based on our one night there and I’m sure when the weather picks up and the restrictions ease even more the experience will be better. We arrived at our table but had a terrible time trying to order our food after downloading the app, in the end after failing a few time with payment not going through properly we had to ask someone to come and take our orders manually. It was quite crisp (feet were frozen) but there were no outside patio heaters available. We felt for the staff who had to deal with the lack of technology co operation however they were very attentive and worked hard to accommodate everyone! I will go back because the location and the setting is great so we as a group will wait for warmer weather. The food was tasty and we all ordered from the Vegan place however because it was quite cold out fries went cold really quickly. All in all the safety set up was good and the environment comfortable and with all the challenges they did their best to create a good experience.

Ordered a burger from Browski burgers when I was at The Terrace. Burger never arrived. Spoke to the staff who took my details and said they will refund me. It's been more than 10 days and still no refund. Poor service

Gorgeous building with a wonderful view of the city. Coffee vans on either side of the walk which was nice. Very busy though when I went.

I actually really liked this place! It sits right on top of the old volcanic crater ridge with a fantastic view over London. You can even see were the crater used to be :-). Again quite a lot of people but they just added a beer garden outside of the old bbc building. In the summer this will be super nice. For the kids the playground behind the bbc building is a must. There is even a small lake with paddle boat rentals.

Make sure you COME at NIGHT!!! The view over London is AMAZING! What is really good about Alexandra Palace is that the place is well lit and there are a lot of people who go through here, so you will feel safe. Also it's a place where you can just sit, hang out with friends and admire the stunning view.

I went yesterday with 9 clints from hospital for a walk and coffee. We took 2 buses to get there. I think the getting past security, signing tract and trace app 9 individual times, downloading app to purchase anything and sitting on two table (although tbe table could seat many more and the place was empty) was too much. So we left ???? we went to boating areas cafe where none of this was necessary and we had some comfort. Over the top !!

Chased out by security from the terrace as I was using a 'pro' camera to take a picture of London skyline. So much for 'People's Place' and free use guaranteed by an Act of Parliament. No toilet access. No coffee. Usually inaccessible car park. So much space just wasted outside of paid events, all the while asking locals for donations. Not the place it used to be. Sad.

A great London Landmark. Under the laws from 100 years ago, everyone should be able to visit all areas for free. This is not the case now. Also needs major repairs

I love going to Alexdra Palace but i was really disappointed with the outdoor eating/dining experience. Had to order via an app which is understandable due to the current circumstances. The food took over 1.5 hours to be served and was cold. My friends ordered food and never arrived. The staff were really friendly and offered a refund. Its just a shame about the food. Ordering drinks was no problem but very pricey. The above was on 27th April.. its 14th May and still no refund, no response to emails. Changed my rating to 1 star!!!

Lovely place to take walk as a family and with pets..with great views across London. Also offers opportunity to row across its pond. Wrap up warmly can feel a little breezy when walking higher up. Great place to eat and drink after lock down

Fantastic place to go for a walk. Beautiful views. Fresh air. Even when everything is closed due to covid there are still fewer better places to go for a walk on a sunny winter day.

Beautiful park, the car park by the Palace is £3 for the day (as of April) and they only accept contactless payment. The palace itself is closed but you have other parts open that are outdoors.

Lovely view but a disastrously bad place to drink. Takes about half an hour to get registered, sat down, app downloaded, registered in app, card added to app and then beer ordered. Then having to wait 40 minutes for it to arrive despite complaining three times.

Beautiful place, so clean and during this time I was worried it would be overcrowded but everyone there kept to social distancing and wearing masks. The view from the top of the stairs at the Palace too is beautiful!
