I took my child's chair to Martin in a bit of a sorry state. He has restored it to its former glory in an expert way. He explained every stage and used original methods to bring it back to life. This is a family piece and has sentimental value to me so I was delighted to find someone I could trust. Martin really knows his stuff and his shop is fascinating.

You can find a vast amount of real treasures in my shop from time gone by that will enhance your home and take you back in time. I've restored recently peaces showing how items of age can be bought back to life and if looked after will go on for another century. I hope you enjoy as much as I do. Wonderful shop. Dog and people friendly. There is nothing that Martin can't fix. Plus if you want something that little bit unusual, this is the place. And you get a story to go with every item. Martin always have both small and large interesting things. It's hard to visit without buying anything. Our house is now full of lovely pieces.

A fabulous place. This is not a shop but an education centre, a place for a dog treat and a sit down and chat about antiques. Martin has renovated both a chair and a very battered games table for us. In his renovation work he is able to keep the authenticity of the piece, make it look amazing and functional. Take a piece to him and he will tell you all about it - the woods, the year, how it was made etc. His prices are very fair too!

I have been lucky enough to have used Martin at Dovetail interiors several times over that last 5yrs. Not only have I purchased items from his treasure trove,but he has also painted some items for me that he has been kind enough to collect in his van and deliver when completed. If you are after something specific,he will keep his eyes peeled for what you want and his customer service is unsurpassed. He is reliable and trustworthy and my only regret is that I am currently not in need of any new pieces! Doesn't stop me popping by the shop to see what interesting new items he has though, as he is a wealth of knowledge. Can't recommend him enough.

Moving to west worthing l was excited to see a fantastic shop Dovetail Interiors , this shop is so interesting that it's great to spend time looking at wonderful Antiques.
These items have been restored to a very high standard with love and care , the skill involved restoring items that are over 200 hundred years old is great and bringing them back to life . I have been lucky to buy one or two items which have made my home look fantastic.
I recommend Dovetails to any one who wishes to buy wonderful items which bring back memories .The owner Martin is so dedicated to his work that he would discuss details with great knowledge , So please come down to Dovetails you will be amazed . Great shop thanks for all your help Sheila.
