I have started to work with Manpower since 2014. It is fun , people there are helpful. For the last 2 years I am working with Chris Chamberlain. A modest, #knowswhatodo guy. He's friendly and makes a good name for his company by the way he is doing his job. In fact Manpower is the only company I have worked with for a long period of time and I will be keen to work with in the future. Carla, working in the office, makes it sound so easy.Teresa even tried to get me a gym membership just because I have asked for help.So to keep a long story short: thank you all, you are great. I have been working for manpower for over 5 years .. Great team of staff always helpful and friendly. . As I'm a driver I have a lot of dealing's with Chris Chamberlain a great guy with a lot of knowledge and a great problem solver. He also has time and listen's to his drivers. I have had the opportunity to work for some good companies with fantastic rates of pay. I would highly recommend Manpower as they have kept me work happy for the past 5 years

Up until a few days ago, following have been working with Manpower, honestly I really wouldn't have bothered writing this review. I'm doing so because one individual Teresa Smith took time out to sought out an ongoing mess which another member of staff could have cleared up months prior but never did. Thank you Teresa Smith!!
Having said that, clearly there's much room for improvement, particularly so in the driving area, knowing you have a supportive team behind you does a lot, and means a lot.

I working for the Manpower for almost half year ago, and the staff are very helpfully and friendly. Working with manpower has been fantastic. They don't waste my time if not necessarily but if you have any problem/trouble/etc. they try to help at anytime.

I have worked for over four years for Manpower, and it has been a pleasure to work with the team at the Acton branch. I tend to work with Carla quite a lot at present. She's always available when I phone with any problems she sorts them out for me immediately and if she misses my call she phones me back straight away. She's very helpful and supportive. Chris has always been great as well, supplying me with good jobs and the support I need when working for different clients. The Branch Manager Theresa, from the beginning has always made sure that I received good roles and support she tends to have confidence in my abilities and I am greatful to her for the opportunities that I have received since working for Manpower.

The working environment is great and there is a feel good factor when at work. The team in the office are lovely and approachable and always willing to help me in any situation. This is a top notch agency! To anyone who disagrees, I would say: “A bad workman always blames his tools.” For me it’s the best choice in the London area, and I’ve tried a few. Reap the benefits of working for a large company and doing agency driving work, with holiday pay etc. Varied work: Class 1, Class 2, HIAB, 7.5 tonne, van and minibus work. You cannot do better than Manpower Acton.

Hi to all the staff at manpower in high st acton, i have been employed by and working for this branch for the best part of 10 years without any problems whatsoever, i was based at a company for 7 years before i chose to move on to other employment which was permanent. The staff there are very helpful and work to a very high standard and i would recommend this agency to anyone seeking employment.

The Action branch is a great place to go if you're looking for a driving job. Manpower is really well known to businesses and they always have vacancies.
I dealt with a lady called Carla at the Acton branch, she was bubbly and it felt like it was her genuine mission to place me somewhere.
She took into consideration my personal circumstances, my travel concerns and even researched the travel route and how much it will cost to get there I really felt that she had my best interests at heart.
I was working by within 2 days.
She goes the extra mile as well, asking if I am happy in my placement, asking if there is anything that she can dod she helps remind me to get my timesheet in on time so I don't miss the payment run....
I've spoken to other Manpower employees in that branch and they are exactly the same, very unlike other employment agencies.... I'd recommend their services all day long ????????

I have been working for couple of years now with Acton Branch and they’re a team of friendly professionals, personally I work mainly with Chris, or sometimes with Teresa and I didn’t had any issues, very efficient and supportive also they use any tool available to help and promote drivers, I.e. training, refreshers, CPC and so on. Also there is Carla which is very friendly and I know from my colleagues that she is good too.
Along the way I worked with couple agencies here and there and I left all of them for this one, because all the above and work is there and available and as secure as you wanted to be, wages on pair with market or higher.
In my experience with them I notice that people that left to different opportunities still come back for a shift or two and inexperienced colleagues are helped to gain the skills required to achieve their best.
To summarise,
A team of friendly and supportive professionals, well connected in the industry with the flexibility, security and challenges at competitive rates.

Hate been forced to give a star to a company that doesn't deserve it
This is by far the worst employment agency that I have come across
I done a 45 hour week doing multi drops all over the greater London area I worked hard and got great feedback from the client but then it came to pay and i was dumbfounded to see i only took home £240 for that 45 hours i told another client that its not their fault i wasn't coming back it was the fact i only earned £30 that day and that was down to the agency
Please go and find another agency that pays better as it's an insult to you to work for nothing and if you are a prospective employer the best solution is to find an employment agency that treat as and pays their employees a decent wage
