Floral & Hardy Garden Design

We had a great experience with Floral and Hardy. They created for us an outdoor room, extending the kitchen into the garden with colour, shape and the use of materials. The build went almost without hitch and we’re very happy with the extra lengths they went to: cutting down our bench to size, and carving out part of the flower bed for kitchen herbs.

Last year we used Floral and Hardy for a full garden redesign. Our garden was overgrown and lacked structure. Their team provided a lovely design and team to complete the works. We now have a fantastic planting scheme, lighting, water feature and a garden office/cabin. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for work to be done.

Floral & Hardy did our roof top garden. Very pleased with the quality of their work and the extra lengths they went to in order to clear existing roof space of old planters and broken furniture. We had a number of garden designs which were hand drawn, the concepts were highly detailed and gave a real impression of how the garden would look. All the details were accounted for including decking, turf and lighting. Very impressed! The team once finished cleaned up and we were left with a roof garden that we are very pleased with.

Issues resolved post review

Called in to enquire on potentially working with Floral and Hardy on a landscape re-design. Within 45 seconds of explaining why I had called, I was interupted by the woman who answered my call that their garden design implementations cost upwards of a minimum of £20K. To be clear, this was before any details or specifics of our potential project was shared. It felt almost as if our requirements didn't matter or were secondary at best, and that F&H wanted to filter off anyone who couldn't afford their minimum spend. I politely ended the conversation right away, but wanted to share incase you were thinking about an actual consultation where your thoughts/ requirements are considered.

Floral & Hardy recently completed landscape work at the East Surrey Macmillan Support Centre. They did an excellent job and their staff were courteous and worked with us to ensure little disruption to our service. Thank you.
