Can't wait to visit this wonderful shop again. Nice staff and that gorgeous Lush aroma is out of this world. All the vibrant colours and the little sinks remind me of art lessons at primary school. Lovely products that really give you a lift, especially in these depressing times. Just ordered some bath bombs and other goodies online for delivery, to keep me going until I can visit again.

I placed a Click & Collect order last week & was really impressed by the service from Lush. The order was all ready at the chosen time, the staff were efficient and really pleasant, the products are all gorgeous - as I'd expect from Lush ???? The really lovely thing is that when I unpacked my bag of gorgeous goodies, there was a handwritten card thanking me for the order and enclosing 2 free samples based on what I'd ordered. I was really touched & think it shows their exemplary customer service. Thank you so much Lush, Derby, highly recommend to everyone.

I had an absolutely delightful experience today at Lush Derby, I was served by a lovely lady named Michelle and her colleague Scott, after initially having absolutely no idea what to purchase as a gift for a friend of mine, Michelle immediately showed me around some of her favourite products surrounding the topic of self care, running through the ingredients, benefits and sensation of them on the skin- even into the story of how the product came to be. I left with 3 absolutely gorgeous products which I know my friend will be over the moon with, and even a sample and bath bomb for myself. I really can't recommend Lush and the customer service enough, for the staffs genuine passion and knowledge as well as their warmth and welcome. Michelle really made me feel at home and took the time to ensure I left with a product my friend will genuinely love. Thank you so much Michelle & Scott - I'm trialling my sample of 'beauty sleep' as I type! 5* :)

The products are great but it I always feel harassed to try things I don't want when in there. The staff seem to be trained to physically grab you to take you over to displays whether you want to or not. Only the 'service' doesn't feel genuine at all. A few times they've been in the middle of talking about the product while still looking around the shop for other customers to grab.
It sadly continues at the tills too with the overenthusiastic conversation about what you're buying and continuing to give you recommendations for stuff sitting on the counter. I understand upselling, but it needs to be done in a gentle and natural way for it to work. This is kind of frenzied, like the staff are afraid the management is going to drag them out back if they fail to marry you.
Please learn to read your customers behaviour. If they aren't looking lost, they don't need your help. Just make yourself available in case they do. Not everyone wants to be pressured into buying and trying things.
Sometimes we just want some soap.

First time shopping at Lush today! Was assisted by Ajay (strawberry blonde beard) ???? who was absolutely top notch! I did not have a clue about any of the products and his knowledge to help me find the right stuff was on point! I will definitely be visiting again at some point! Thanks Again!

Can't fault the staff, but this is the 4th year I've gone without snow fairy spray. The brand shares my values of no animal testing and cruelty, how ever it's too extortionately priced. There is never enough made to go around, and during Christmas sales there is no cap on the amount of bottles people can buy at once. I've literally seen someone buy the whole shelf of spray once, meaning that everyone else in the cue was left disappointed. The whole culture surrounding this is gross. People will buy all of the bottles and sell them on for like £75 a bottle on eBay ect. Just unfair for genuine customers who want to buy it. They know this product is popular so why not make more? I suppose it's good sales tactic, bring a really popular scent out once a year that people go mad for. There is money to be made. But there is zero consideration for customers. I have genuinely had enough of getting up at 4am on boxing day to try and grab one bottle of snow fairy spray to get there and it be sold out before I have even had a chance. Won't be bothering next year.

Bought many a bath bomb here over the last few months. I Also decided to try products for my daughter who has scalp psoriasis, we were advised by the lovely Stan and chose some products. Unfortunately what we picked didn't suit her needs. On a later visit, buying yet more bath bombs, I spoke to Scott who advised to bring them back and try alternatives. Today back in store and spoke to a very helpful guy, Didnt get his name, but wore his hair in a bun... So very helpful as always and recommended alternatives, swopped products, no issues even without the receipt. Staff great, really know their stuff...

Such friendly staff and so helpful when trying to find the right product for you. They give demonstrations give advice and are so welcoming. Fresh products and amazing quality. I have sensitive skin and products from here give me no irritation what so ever. They staff have such a good knowledge of their own products and that gives me full confidence in what I buy.

This was the first time I have ever been in a Lush. The staff was friendly and helpful without being pushy. I purchased a few different products and have been satisfied with all so far.
The bath bomb oil products were much better than I had expected and I can't wait to get more.

New store is lovely their products are amazing! Majority of the products work really well for me. Staff are really helpful and if something hasn't worked for you they will try their hardest to find an alternative.they provide good customer service most retail stores can't be bothered but they really make the effort here and are very friendly. They give out samples rather than pressure you to buy which just shows they believe in their products. Most of the samples I have been given I have gone on to buy the product.

Popped in to look at some new bath bombs only to spend a good 45 mins in store. Had a couple of female staff members who were amazing and helpful. Talking about all things lush and also just a friendly general chit chat. Love lush and the products. Highly recommend.

Fantastic shop and lovely helpful staff. I hate it when staff are pushy, but the staff in Lush really know how to get the balance. They are helpful and kind, showing you the products, but leaving you alone to make your choices. I felt thoroughly pampered when I left today and was pleased at the lack of packaging on some of the products; it makes up for the overuse of plastic in other shops! I won't mention any names, but the blonde girl who helped me today was first class!

After spending forty pounds at the shop I asked if they could give me any free samples but I was told that I had to have a specific consultancy to enable me to have any. I have been to lush shops all over Europe and this was the first time I had been denied any free samples.

Got some solid shampoo and solid shower gel. It is quite pricey, but ecological. The second time I got another shower gel, because they discontinued Twilight, it didn't last much, so now I only get their shampoo.

I always ask the shop workers what products are suitable for my type of skin or for my hair and they're always very helpful. Lush workers are also great with kids, they entertain my kids with bath bombs so that I can do a little shopping without them getting bored.

Just love Lush shower gels. I have eczema and I've always had bad reactions to showers gels but with these my skin hasn't reacted at all! They are rather expensive but worth it.

I like a lot of the products in store. However I find the staff overbearing at times. I get staff want to give the best customer service they can but bombarding me with questions after I’ve made it perfectly clear I don’t need help is extremely rude. This has happened on every visit, I sometimes avoid this store and end up going to the Nottingham one where I’m not constantly followed around

I attended the Derby Lush store. This was the first time I had ever really been in Lush and did not really know what I was looking for. I had read online reviews about the products at Lush and how great they are with ezcema and as someone who suffers quite badly with ezcema, I thought I would give it a go. I was greeted by Anisha and straight away she was very friendly and willing to help. I explained to her what I was after and right away she showed me the different products that I could use on my skin and did a few demonstrations. She explained to me what was in each product and how I should use it. She also shared with me some of the issues she has had with her skin in the past which I could definitely relate to. At the end, she gave me a couple of samples and told me to try them over the next few days and that if I liked them, I could come back. She told me that she did not want me to purchase anything that I wasn't completely happy with which was refreshing. There was no pressure to buy as she understood that due to my sensitive skin, I would need time to get a feel of the product. This is super long but basically - thank you Anisha!!!

I have been instore today and all i can say is wow a very big thankyou to a female staff worker who came up and asked me and my husband if we needed any help i explained im rather new and not to sure of what products was best ! She took her time and showed me around the whole store explained all the products that lush provided.I explained i had problems with my daughters sleeping and she did a tray with all different products that could help them and showed me my putting these on my hands and also did with some products for myself i would like to say a very big thankyou for makeing my day amazing take in your time with me and we both shall return back soon ❤

Very good quality soaps, the company is very environmentally friendly, open and honest about what they do, how they work and the products they produce. They are fairly expensive though, but the products are of a fairly high quality to compensate.
