Had the Best experience in Lewisham-Argos today!!! On the pay Online and collect Till was the friendliest young woman (name has gone out my head) with the biggest Smile, so helpful! anyways she had the patience of a saint with my order!! Along with her two co-workers I was able to collect a large order/multiple items from many messages at once and made it look very easy!!! She even helped me pack the items in the bags so they would balance on my pushchair keeping my 6mth old safe, and never made me feel like I was taking up their time... Makes such a difference to feel welcome in a store during these crazy times... Trust me if I can manage pay online and collect in store then anyone can with the help of that young girl on the collection point...! ???? (SUNDAY 13th Sep 2020, 13:00 ish) She’s a keeper Argos!!!! .....communication was on point with staff members and the customers ????????????

Following online advice I went to this, the branch where I bought, to return a now faulty item. I was told I could not do so, and "would have to" go to Sainsbury's 2 miles away. By three of them sitting doing nothing. Snow falling and -2°C outside Every excuse they gave was prefaced by "The Government told us .. " They then tried to turn it personal, but clamped up when I told them my phone voice recorder was on. Why three people doing nothing but no possibility of speaking to other than a machine either online or on the phone? I specifically bought in Argos because I thought any return would be easier. Not so. I was going to ask for a replacement but will now insist on a refund and go elsewhere. It seems COVID has affected our statutory and consumer rights.

I made an online order 3rd Feb for click and collect and Lewisham branch was the only place avaliable so I had my sister collect it on my behalf on Saturday 6th Feb as I’m working and live quite far from the store and I do not drive. They made her wait 15 mins to say they couldn’t find the order and that I should cancel it. But the problem is I couldn’t cancel it as they have put it through the system as collected. I have had to call the store on their private number almost 10 times which kept getting cancelled and after speaking with customer service they said I had to call or go to the store to dispute the matter. Which I believe is ridiculous and I should not have to go out of my way to sort an issue out that’s on their end when I have done all I can do. I’m in the process of reporting the store as this totally unacceptable and unwarranted.

Ok we’re in COVID and the staff need to protect themselves with a plastic barrier but they still can speak interaction between staff and consumer like hello thank you and goodbye nothing was said to me it was a truly horrible experience I won’t be shopping there again I see a lot of the shops are closing which isn’t surprising.

Terrible customer service and rude staff. The young man serving me had an extremely nonchalant attitude. When asked to help provide assistance, went and hid behind one of the pillars and drank where I could see him - highly unprofessional. Engaged in an argument with myself when I explained that thr advice he had given me was not the same advice I had recieved in the same store with a previous employee. Staff also think it is ok to have an argument with a member of the cleaning staff via phone behind the tills on the shop floor, in which I was made aware of the need for a cleaner as nobody had cleaned the store for a week... TERRIBLE!!!

It's not the fault of the hardworking staff at the front line of a system that needs a revamp. I still enjoy browsing through the Argos catalogue! There are some good deals

Staffs are lazy changing prices on the shelves display and ague with you when you quote the price you saw. Some Staff are okay but the managers there should put their act together and run the store like proper Argos store. Manager actually told me to complain if I like. Unbelievable

The worst service system ever!! So slow! It makes no sense. At the collection point where I had prepaid what I had ordered I decided the product did not match my expectations. I then had to queue up for 30 minutes for a refund. They should have the functionality in place to avoid this

Poor custumer service. Hen you buy something from Argos and is broken down and send for repairs they call you and tell you that repair is more expensive then the actual product cost. I will never ever make the mistake to buy something from Aegos. Please people don't do that. Pluse I got my Lotop after bean with argos for repair and they send buck to me broken down. Wen I send my laptop to them was work perfectly fine and and now is broken.

Normally has what i need for immediate collection. Unfortunately the wait for the collection is quite long . The staff seem to be hanging around drinking red bulls having a chat. Everyone seems to be slightly rough around the edges. Good for convenience and price. Quite spacious and normally clean .

The ‘IBM’ screens for searching for products are slow and unresponsive. The search engine results are counter-intuitive and the groupings made it almost impossible to find what I wanted, a vacuum cleaner, and I already knew the product because I’d seen it online. I had to use my phone with a very poor signal.

It was my first time feeling terribly upset with staff members in a shop. They seemed to prefer chatting to each other or some custormers than working properly for other customers. It took ages to collect the right items, so I had to cancel my next fairly important appointment. I will never never never visit this Argos again.

Most staff here are barely-competent, they don't know the company's procedures for operating their sales systems, doing returns or handing over products. On the other hand there are "store procedures" that they want to make you go through that don't appear anywhere on Argos' website and run contrary to consumer rights law. All of this is delivered with barely concealed frustration and contempt for the customer. Would not recommend.

Argos: making the capitalist pursuit of shopping for luxuries feel like Communist Russia since... what? 1981? Anyway, as Argoses go this is a pretty efficient one and I've never waited longer than 5 mins for my stuff. But I avoid it at weekends when it could be a different story. The staff here always seem very friendly and on the ball so Argos is obviously doing something right.

Not enough staff, very long waits (even when the store is practically empty) and the staff who do work there aren't very good at acknowledging customers. I stood for almost 15 minutes at the collection point, right next to a member of staff who didn't even make eye contact with me as she was waiting for something else to happen (I guess). At this point there were about three other people in the store. Much prefer Bromley Argos, as at least the staff there are polite!

Extremely poor customer service most of all from the manager that was on shift he was very rude and unhelpful amongst other. Went there on Saturday 27/10/2018 at 9:30am to return a faulty "50"inch smart tv i had purchase on 3/09/2018. despite it being early morning and only 3 customers in the store it took approximately 1 hour to get through. when we walk in the store a customer representative was serving a customer, so we walked over to the manager who was at the other till doing nothing and explained that we wanted to return the tv. to which he sent us at the till where the customer representative was busy with a customer. When it was our turn we explained the situation all over again. She stated that she would need to go at back and check the procedure to which she walk away to speak to the manager who we could hear telling her to tell us to contact a number etc. She came back to us with a contact number written on the top of my receipt, to which i told her i will not be walking back and forth with this big tv like an idiot, it a short time that i had the tv and its not working, the remote don't work dispite changing the battery twice and the tv won't connect to internet, the screen go gray then black and then nothing it just truns off and i have to unplug it for 15 minutes before turning on and the problem starts all over again. I wanted another tv or my money back. The manager then walked over to us and said rudely i have told her what to do and now she will tell u but your just talking. Call that number and they will fix the tv it takes 2-3 weeks. To which i ask ,so what am i supposed to watch for 2-3 week, the wall, i got tv the tv so i could watch it. his response, "I don't care" to which i told him he was just rude. Long story short after refusing to go back home with the faulty tv i was told they will sent it off for fixing and will just have to do without a tv for 2-3 week. the girl that i was sent to whom clearly didn't know what she was doing wrote a report for me to sign that stated i had issues with the remote. When i pointed out that the tv it self as i had explained was also problematic she became irritated that she had to rewrite the report explaining the faults they need to fix. After this experience i will avoid shopping in this store at all cost.

The store feels quite bare but I found the staff were nice and most products I wanted were in stock. The best part is how late they are open, compared to the rest of the Lewisham Shopping Centre!

And not to mention when you ring them about your issue with your order....omg...how dare you? Just horrible. Not proffessional at all...no connection to customer service

Staff members are always rude. I only use Argos to collect items I ordered from eBay. Even in those short interactions they've managed to annoy me with their rude and impolite attitudes. Update: Recently I get good quality service so I've updated my rating. Hope they keep it this way.

Ordered online and given a collection time of 4pm. At first staff couldn't explain why my item (worth over £300) wasn't available and then told me there were no vans to bring it to the store. When the van did arrive over 3.5 hours late the staff unpacking the delivery put it on a shelf and made us wait a further 30 minutes before telling us it had been received. I know because my husband spotted the member of staff carrying it to a shelf even though they knew we were waiting for it! It wasn't until I complained to a manager that one of the staff decided to call us over. Sullen, unhelpful, extremely poor customer service. Argos senior management need to do something about this - your website is excellent but you need staff in the stores to back it up, there are plenty of other places I could have bought the item and in future your shop will be a last resort.

Store was dirty scraps of paper everywhere only 2 staff bringing in the products. There was no pencil around for me to write my order number down I had to take a picture on my phone instead. Queue to the tills was very slow and long so just paid electronically at the machines instead. Staff service was terrible no smile or eye contact from the young black man who initially served me. When I asked for a different box because I was buying a gift he went off and gave the box to his colleague who just bagged it and served the next person. Would not go there again.

Very poor customer service, after asking twice what products had been recalled (on a sheet behind the till) the assistant read it and said 'some products' I asked again which products and after reading it for a second time told me to go and read it myself. After this she didn't give me an order number and told me it would be 12 minutes (difficult to know where I was to pick up my items or what number to go up and collect for), when I returned to the till to ask for my number she exclaimed she'd told me it would be 12 minutes (again not answering my question) I would avoid at all costs

This store has very poor customer services. The store manager Sarah Villers think she is above the law when attempting to return a product make sure you are fully aware of the sales of goods act as she will try everything possible to get out of doing a return even down to physicaly breaking your item in store. It seems clear to me that she is more worried about her key performance indicators (store figures) than dealing with customers in a proffesional maner. The store manager also lies and calls the police and centre security for made up accusations of Assult. If this happend Sarah Villers Store Manager of Argos Lewisham then why did you not ask the police to arrest me for assult and why did argos not follow this through the legal process the reason FABRACTION BY YOU THE STORE MANAGER ALL CAPTURED ON CCTV. Also when you ban someone from a store follow this through with the write process by having Argos Head Office issue a banning letter to the customer as you saying your banned is not the correct process I would recommend you refer to your retail procedure manual as it seems clear you are in charge of a store that you have very little knowledge on retail procedures. Having been to other Argos stores the Lewisham store needs a complete managment change to ensure it operates within the law.

Waiting time very bad ordered an item on line paid for it in store machine my slip said 9 mins over 20mins later after customers who came after me got there items mine still had not come down I showed my receipt two 3 difference staff in the end I got fed up and went to the tills which I had to wait and extra 10 minute’s to get served for a refund I went straight to argos in Catford ordered my item and got it within two minutes and Lewisham argos is bigger do not understand the problem will never be going back to argos in Lewisham
