Good price for MOT, just £30. No nonsense or ripping off either. I once failed an MOT at Halfords (shocker). I took it to these lads, they passed it with advisories, and rightly so. Fast work. The only issue would be for disabled drivers, as the car park for the garage is down a rather steep hill. Otherwise, top place for car work.

I’ve been using this garage since I moved to Halifax and today I needed an exhaust fitting. I know this garage is busy and after arranging a time to go down just to look at it. We had it on the ramp and was told he could do a full exhaust change within the hour. It was 4pm when I got there and true to his word we got the parts and it was done in time (including the muffler) also £160 cheaper than a different garage I was quoted from

Excellent had full service but Honda dealers didn't deliver air filter in time as promised Halifax autocentre rang me if I wanted to go ahead which l did. 2 days later they rang me that it had arrived and asked me to pop down at my convenience which I did and they fitted it immediately.

Been using Halifax autocentre for a number of years now, I won't go anywhere else. Always manage get booked in if I have a problem with my car. I always have a full service and MOT done, if they find a problem they ring me first to see if I want them to go ahead and fix the problem. Definitely recommend Halifax Autocentre to anybody.

I chose this place because it had good reviews and was recommended to me. The staff were very friendly when I dropped the car off and picked it up.
Now, I took the car in for an interim service,
I specifically asked them if they could have a look at the brakes while they were at it as there was a grinding noise coming from them..
They told me the brakes were fine but the pads would need replacing in a few months.
When I picked the car up I could still hear the noise. I booked it in to another garage and he had a look. I was told that the front calipers had seized and would need replacing urgently and that the pads were in fact worn and that's where the noise was coming from. In all that cost me £350 for the brand new calipers, pads and labour.
So in short. Halifax automotive couldn't have checked the brakes and it makes me wonder what else they didn't check.
Obviously I won't be going back and that's a shame because it looks like a very professional set up.

Being using this garage for the past 5 years, this is the only place I will go. Fair prices, great repair work, good customer service. Best garage in Halifax.
Edit- gone downhill sadly, had to find a new garage. Failed to spot issues , no call back for a quote on requested repair. Not sure what’s happened.
