David came recommended to us by someone who was booked up for our day and honestly, we're glad he was recommended. He fitted in really well with our small group and got the balance of chatting with us and the ability to melt away into the background spot on, allowing him to take some really candid photographs, capturing exactly what we'd experienced on the day. The photographs were way better than what we expected and being such a small day, we had discussed whether we could rely on our smartphones for memories; we're so very glad we went with David, a true professional. We can't possibly choose a favourite photographs, but we love the ones where he captured very real moments in the day, where we weren't posing.

We are from Hong Kong and we just selected David because of the strength he showed in his online gallery. It was definitely an excellent decision made. David is a wonderful photographer! He is friendly and always encourage us to be as natural as possible with kind words. Both of us really enjoyed the time with him.

It really was an easy decision choosing David Walters as our wedding photographer. He listened to our requirements, gave great suggestions and made us feel confident in his ability to provide a quality service. His communication up until the actual day was great, he didn’t bombard us with emails and would always respond promptly when we messaged him. On the day of the wedding he came along with plenty of time for us to take ‘getting ready’ photos. His style is the very popular and modern ‘documentary’ style, which basically means candid and mostly non-staged shots. We loved this as we wanted to capture the real emotions and feel of the day. During the ceremony and reception, we hardly noticed him there, which was great as we didn’t feel like we had to put on a smile. A few days later, while we were on our honeymoon we started receiving some initial photographs and we were both totally blown away but the style and what he actually captured. And once we were home we set about choosing what ones we wanted in our album…. This took a long time as they were all so good! There was a delay in getting the actual album, which wasn’t David’s fault at all. For one we took so long choosing the photos and then his printer fell ill. However again when it arrived the delay wasn’t important, the quality of printing and presentation were exceptional, both in the main album and the two ‘parent’ albums. We would wholeheartedly recommend you choose David Walters as your wedding photographer, after all great photographs are the best way to capture the day. A great wedding photographer. After meeting David and seeing his work we knew we wanted him to take out wedding pictures. On the day David was amazing, professional and invisible, we hardly knew he was there. David was a photographer on our wedding and we found his services extremely professional. He managed to capture the atmosphere of the day. Joy, happiness and emotions are visible on almost every photo. The quality of photographs is very good and we are extremely happy we ordered albums which take the entire experience of reliving that day to another level. The communication with David was very easy and all emails have been answered promptly. All the aspects of services have been dealt with in timely manner. Wow, what can we say. David has made our special day even more special. He was very friendly, and drifted around the church, venue and amongst the guests as if he wasn't there. Capturing all the days events in a natural way, with none of the usual group (friends of the bride, groom's family, everyone with a vowel in their name, etc. etc.) photos. We have been left with a collection of the exact shots we were looking for. Obviously we wanted the best we could get, but had a limited budget, so David even tailored a package to meet our needs. From our very first meeting right through to receiving our album, David was first class. He listened to what we wanted and delivered above and beyond our expectations. His portfolio really caught our eye, he has a natural talent for capturing every last detail just at the right moment. We couldn't be happier with our wedding photos. David caught every moment and seemed to have a talent for really capturing people's emotions. He put everyone at ease and was very charming. We all felt so comfortable, that it felt like he was one of the guests! After a lot of research we chose David, based on his documentary, 'non-staged' approach. When planning our wedding one of the most important things to us was choosing the right photographer. We wanted someone to be able to capture the mood of the day and to be able to produce pictures that evoke that same mood each time we look at them. We came across David when searching for wedding photographers in the area and we really liked the look of his work so we arranged to meet him at our venue. From the minute we sat down with David we knew that he was the right choice. His passion was infectious and his ideas for the day were exactly what we were looking for. He instantly put us at ease; it felt as though we had known him for many years. We knew straight away that he was the perfect choice. During our pre wedding shoot David managed to create a fun and relaxed atmosphere that put us at ease and taken away at least one worry we had for the wedding day, we were in safe hands. We asked David to be our wedding photographer based on the strength of his online gallery and it was a decision well made. Me and Michelle my Beautiful Wife got married on 16th May 2014, The picking of the photographer was down to the "BOSS" Michelle.... Michelle had a couple of "Supposedly" good photographers recommended to her by friends and family.......On seeing their working she received no spark!!!! Continuing the search for the right person... the right shots....capturing the right moments!!! Michelle,her Mother and the Chief Bridesmaid attended a Wedding Fair in St George's Hall..... Whilst walking through St Georges Hall speaking to over priced.... non inspiring photographers... The work of David Walters caught her eye... A black and white picture of his gorgeous niece, captured in a sat posture... capturing a moment that Michelle herself would like to captured in on her wedding day..... On speaking to David we found him to be a really down to earth, funny and relaxing character ...(We can speak first hand... a relaxing influence is a great help during your wedding day) David became the only person Michelle then wanted as her photographer... a consultation was arranged, during the consultation the picture David brought as examples reinforced the picking of David. During our wedding day David was punctual and on Great Form !! had us all relaxed.. Whilst doing what he does best .. David still found time to do shots that we wanted..!! Today we received our 3 "Hand Made British Photo Albums" and Disc .. I must say we are very pleased with our photos!!!! He really did capture all the great moments of our Amazing Day!!! My husband and I are both very camera shy and enjoyed David’s selling point of capturing our special day from the outside in, rather than forcing lots of staged shots. The pre-shoot was nerve racking- but ultimately it put you in good stead for the wedding as you knew that David was very professional and he would help you to get the shots you would treasure forever. Both our mothers loved him and a lot of our friends have commented about him running around non-stop taking photos of all the guests and fine details of the day. He even took his shoes off in the ceremony so his shoes wouldn’t make any noise! We enjoyed working with David, he took some amazing shots and the photo albums are perfect and I can’t help but show them off all the time. Myself and my husband got married on the 12th of May 2012 and couldn't recommend him more highly! After meeting him for our initial consultation he was barely in his car when we decided he was the right photographer for us. He is very friendly, unobtrusive and most importantly didn't do 'the hard sell'! On the day David was excellent, very professional and at times I even forgot he was there. We had asked for more candid shots and less of the formal shots which was exactly what we got. He let us enjoy our day with minimal interruptions for any staged photographs. Our daughter was 14 months old at the time and David was amazing with her and the other young children at the wedding,some of the best shots are of them!! Initially we weren’t going to even have a professional photographer for our wedding day, we were just going to buy some disposable cameras for our guests and let them go crazy, but a couple of months before our big day we had a change of heart, and so went on the hunt for a photographer. As it was a last minute booking compared to most weddings we were surprised that someone as talented as David was available, but he even found the time to fit us in for an engagement shoot! As soon as we met David, we felt relaxed around him and confident that he would fit in well with our guests. The engagement shoot was hilarious and put me at ease, as up till then I had avoided cameras for around 16 years!!! I was quite nervous on our wedding day but David’s none intrusive style of photography meant that most of the time I didn’t even know I was being photographed. We had an amazing day and the majority of guests commented on how down to earth and funny our photographer was. It was literally like having an extra guest who was just a “happy snapper” :-) I was still nervous about how our photos would turn out due to my camera shyness, but I had no need to be, they are amazing photos and are true memories of our big day! The "take-home message" from this review is as follows: book David for your wedding photography. Do it now!!! My fiance and I got married at the Racquet Club in January. We met up with a few photographers when we were planning the wedding, but David instantly stood out from the crowd with his energy and passion. We had seen some of David's work on his website, and were impressed by his obvious talent and skill when it comes to reportage photography. Even at the initial meeting, David's creativity shone through... he asked us lots of questions (about us, about our guests, about the kind of photography we wanted), listened, and was instantly full of ideas for what we could do on the day (come rain or shine!). He was equally as enthusiastic when it came to our engagement shoot, and we got some great shots from our session around Liverpool One. We had heard horror stories of precious, domineering photographers who completely take over the day and make the guests feel uncomfortable or even bullied. Our experience could not have been any more different! David integrated so well he felt like just another guest at the wedding. He was discrete, unobtrusive and put everyone at ease... I barely even noticed he was there during the bridal preparations! He has such a great empathy with people, and an uncanny ability to predict where the next great 'shot' is going to come from. As a result, David caught the most intimate moments throughout the day... the glances, the looks, the connections between people. Some of his pictures left us utterly speechless... it is almost unbelievable how well he captured the personalities of our guests! We had a small number of group and posed shots, which were absolutely stunning - like something out of a glossy magazine! But our favourite pictures are the natural, unstaged shots that David does so well. Some photographers capture the obvious, but he somehow manages to capture the nuances. His pictures are so full of life, energy and movement, it is more like watching a film reel than looking through a set of still photos. If a picture tells a thousand words, David's photographs tell a million. He is a true artist, a true gentleman, and we can't recommend him highly enough.

Greetings All, We got Married on January 24, 2013 at Anfield, Liverpool Football Club England. For us the thought of getting married at this Dream Destination was too exciting to Digest. We got in touch with David online and viewed some of his work and I instantly knew that this is what we wanted. Now, there's a difference between what you perceive and what you get and then again there is this extreme level of satisfaction when you get a lot more than you perceive and this truly is the Output of Mr. David Walter. David photographed our wedding in December 2012. From our first meeting with him we knew that he would take the kind of photos we wanted. We weren't that keen on too many formal 'posed' shots with all of the wedding guests, but rather wanted a series of photos that told a real story of us and our day. The sample albums he showed us were exactly what we had in mind and David immediately filled us with confidence in both his ability to capture our day and his passion for documenting our wedding in a personal way. We had an engagement shoot in Liverpool with David prior to our big day and that was great. It really helped us feel at ease infront of the camera and gave us all a chance to get to know each other. I know this is not something all photographers offer so I would highly recommend doing it with David before your wedding day if you get the chance. One other touch that I particularly appreciated was that David rang me the night before our wedding day to reassure me that he would be arriving at the appointed time and was all ready to go. This is something that any bride will tell you is a weight off your mind. On the day itself David was fab - he appeared to be everywhere capturing the key moments of our day but was also subtle and friendly and put all our guests at ease. He was always looking for the best places and opportunities to take good shots. In fact, David took so many fantastic photos that it took us a long long time to finalise which ones to put in our album and we even had to pay to add extra pages! To sum it up - a friend of mine who couldn't make it to our wedding said that looking at the photos made her feel like she was there because they captured every moment so well, every emotion, every laugh and every tear. We were let down by our photographer last minute and the following day I received an email from David promoting his photography - I saw it as a sign! We met with him in the city centre were he showed us his albums, the photos were exactly the kind of photography we both love - so hiring him was an easy decision. David is a very friendly, enthusiastic guy who achieves perfection with the most amazing photos that really do capture the moments of the day! Everyone thought he was fantastic. He managed to do this with the hassle of a bride who hates having her photo taken, our dog Einstein at church, wintery rainy weather on 2nd Jan 2013 and a language barrier with part of the wedding party being from South America. After searching the web and going to numerous wedding fairs, we came across David Walters Photography, After meeting with David and seeing his portfolio and competitive pricing, we signed him up straight away as our wedding photographer. On our big day everything was very professional, he was brilliant and we felt comfortable, all the poses were really natural and his witty personallity had us laughing throughout the whole day. He was game for a laugh and got on well with all our guests and made a real impression on the mother of the bride and her sister. After receiving the wedding album, we actually reaslised just how well he had captured our day. People hardly noticed he was there snapping away and as a result got some cracking photos. David did the photography for a joint 40th / 50th birthday for my husband and I at Liverpool Football Club. Even though we'd organised it as a black tie affair, we didn't want it to be too stuffy and wanted people to relax and enjoy themselves, and David captured that perfectly. When it's your do, you spend most of the evening running round and feel like you haven't seen anyone - it was a relief to see the pictures and see that everyone seemed to have the time of their life! We organised the party from a distance (we live in Madrid), and David was a joy to work with - he communicated with me regularly, asked me lots about what I was looking for, and most importantly translated that into his work on the night. He was there from the start until very late and has left us with a souvenir of wonderful formal photos and really fun less-formal ones. I couldn't recommend him enough, and based on all the requests for "when will the photos be ready?" from the guests, I'm guessing they were impressed with him too!

What to say. We got married the 12th October 2013 at Rookery Hall in Nantwich and neither of us had ever been to a wedding as an adult, which meant our day was going to be our day. We had nothing to compare it against. We started planning about a year before, i was finishing my masters degree and my partner was working hard and starting his own degree part time. We were both really busy so when we met David we knew it was meant to be. He is laid back, fun and put us at ease straight away, we had nothing to worry about prior to our day. We meet up a couple of months before to essentially do a practice shoot, to let us know what to expect and to get used to David. Were not the most affectionate pair especially not in public, but David put us at ease and learnt quickly what we were comfortable with, we had great fun and the pictures were amazing. So with no worries that David was going to be able to capture our special day, the day arrived and we were not disappointed. He arrived to capture my wedding preparations, and thats when things became exciting and felt real, this was really happening. David captures the relaxed, exiting, natural, emotional pictures of the people you love, the way you want to remember them. After the ceremony we had a group shot, which David herded and organised without a hitch, he's got the personality to be heard within the crowd and keep everyone smiling and laughing. We then had a parents and groomsmen/bridesmaid formal shot, but that was it, quick and painless. We wanted to focus on getting images of people enjoying themselves, the people we love being natural and thats what David delivered. In addition to this we spent above 45minutes to an hour having some photos of just the two of us. I would recommend this to anyone, it was the only time in the day we could just enjoy being with each other and being our normal selves, no one to talk to and check they were enjoying themselves. You get pulled in so many directions in the day, you find you spend very little time actually together, so this must have been one of my favourites parts of the day, and it produced some very special images. David was unobtrusive, making us laugh and really enjoy ourselves, who would have thought! The final photos were amazing, more than we expected. We will be recommending David to anyone who asks. If you want a photographer who is down to earth, professional, adaptable, and someone who will just blend into your guests capturing all the special moments, David is the photographer for you.
