Terrible experience with drop and go. Turned up to the store, it was closed with the shutters down. No way of calling anyone in the store to ask why, and no response on social media when I contacted the official CeX accounts. Bear in mind I had paid for parking nearby, was standing outside in the cold for 15 minutes waiting for the store to open, and I am 7 months pregnant, so I was pretty annoyed. A week after I contacted them on Twitter I'm told by a CeX employee that "due to the current situation we are not opening the shutters and you'd need to ring the bell at the door to drop off your item." There was no bell and I provided photo evidence to prove this. They then came back a few days later to say "The store has confirmed that they were closed due to bad weather". The weather was cold... that was it. In the end I'm offered a £5 voucher - hardly any good to me when I'm trying to SELL them my headphones not buy anything. CeX's customer service has been truly awful and I will not attempt to use their services again.

Of all the exchange ,trade in games shops ,this is by far the worse. Took in over 100
dvd s bluray plus games. Was given 10 p each for majority of DVDs and 20 p for bluray.
Took an original 60GB PS3 which plays PS1.PS2 PS3 games. Was offered £17 which was insulting.ENDED UP SELLING IT ON AMAZON FOR £395
JUST AVOID THESE GREEDY BUSINESSES.
Took them to game zone who bought everything for a great price.
Looking forward to this place closing down..
Lots of shops that can respect your custom in London. Go some where else.

Well I was truly cheated. I sold PS3 Console and controller and they gave me £21 voucher.
They offered me £7 Cash otherwise.
PS3 usually sell for £99. Do not ever bother selling your goods here. Better off going on Ebay. I will never sell to these charlatans again.

At W1 Rathbone place, Brought a £425 phone and they give me a CEX Charger instead a original fast charger that's supposed come with the phone..

Spend £580 on MacBook pro and get a FAKE Magsafe Charger..
Trader with them for 13 yrs and they have no Regards for loyalty Costume at all..

Taking my son there on a regular basis as he loves checking the second hand games. Prices are not always the best especially these are not need but there can be some very good bargains on DVDs and older games. I think it is the best place if you want to trade your games towards new ones

Brilliant shopping experience. Was able to buy exactly what I wanted within a few minutes of walking into the store. The team in store were knowledgeable about the product I was buying and provided a great customer experience. Was more than happy to rejoin their membership programme again even though a record of my previous membership through another store existed. Would definitely recommend anybody looking to buy previously owned not-new computers, laptops, tablets, mobiles and other electronic products to consider taking their custom to them. Great value for money and by buying previously owned products, being environmentally friendly too.

Love going to this shop because of the big variety but they have limited space for movies etc so if you wanted to sell it can be trouble sometimes cause they won't accept it. Staff is nice and friendly if you're overtly nice to them. Otherwise they have too much work

Great place if you want to grab a movie for pretty much nothing. Might not be relevant when everyone has digital means of entertainment now, but the service you get here is enough for you to make it your go to place for DVD and Gaming needs. Has always had a large variety of video, and in some cases I have managed to find some classics that you may not find anywhere else. Definitely worth keeping this place in mind your still looking for something lost to history!

Dont even buy a phone there, I bought two and both of them broken.
One of them they repair in 1 month when they said they will fix it in 10 days, after 10 days I went to the shop and they said the dont have the phone yet, come back in 2 days, I did and still the phone no repair, I had an argument with one of the shop assistant , she started shouting to me.
after one week I got the phone and 3weeks later is broken again lol.
then i bought another one, and the battery is bad.

This is your average cex store. Except they don't test things as good as others and their reasoning is very simple, it "didn't work". Tried to ask for more info but that's all I got. I've been to many stores and they have offered a much better reason.

Usually go here to get some X360 games prouder of games I missed and wanted to play but didn't have the money as a kid. Sometimes there is the odd chance one member bought a game frothed customer but mistake was made. Overall great store and great staff.

Decent shop. I purchased a second hand controller, which soon stopped working. Returned it and they accused me of breaking it myself. I also wrote to the company who were also unhelpful. Poor customer service. Poor quality of goods. Poor after sales service. Avoid.

Staff are great here and always have helped me out to the best of their ability and sometimes beyond. People with stinking attitudes they will not be rude to but I seen them give standard service in return. I have cracked jokes many times with the staff even when things have not gone my way and have been treated with respect.
