Classic cemetery which is in rough condition - but the broken and tilting tombstones are both haunting and picturesque. Worth a visit for a stroll though some other visitors could be considered a bit "scary" as well - so visit with a friend!

Peacefull, quiet and green. Old tombstones under the trees gives a strange but nice feeling of peace.

Love this place. Wild and sprawling in a picturesque way, with a wide variety of trees and charmingly higgledy-piggledy slanting gravestones. I used to take atmospheric evening walks here, before the council significantly reduced the opening hours. Also unhappy that they have removed the two fallen trees that used to serve as sheltered sitting spaces (and were surely valued by the animal residents as well).

It's a quiet place to go on a lunchtime walk, it was unfortunate that the last time I was there, there were some drunk people sleeping around the graves which is never good to see. Other than that it is impressive in it's scale.
