Shut this prison down!!! A trans woman in currently being denied medical treatment after assualt by guards... and judging by the other comments this prison is completely corrupt....

This is a despicable abuse of State power, forcing a transgender women (Ms. Eyricka King) to be incarcerated among violent male inmates, no matter what crimes may or may not have been committed. Surely this must fall under Federal jurisdiction as a violation of human rights. Common decency should condemn the New York prison system and all responsible for this travesty. The prison officials at Franklin Correctional Facility should be fired and sued. They should spend the rest of their lives asking themselves why they let their inmates get brutally assaulted, sexually harassed and denied medical treatment. And they should feel the shame of allowing that on their watch. People guilty of committing crimes should go to prison, but they should not be sexually or physically or emotionally brutalized, especially because their sexuality, gender or ethnicity. It is not a place for psychopathic correction officers to take out their violence on prisoners. So many high powered lawyers out there will take this case pro bono. Her sentence is too harsh and she has suffered too much. Ms. Eyricka King needs to be released ASAP!!! #JusticeForEyricka

Corrupt c.o.'s rule this facility with lies and brutality and the collusion of the medical and civilian staff. Not a day goes by without an unusual incident occurring usually involving use of force.

C O's punch inmates while handcuffed and with hold food for a day or two when ever they feel the inmate deserves it. They call them names and bully them.
