Needed new wiper blades for my car and Halfords was my first thought having used them many times over the years. I was a little anxious as this was my first store visit since the start of the pandemic but I found them well prepared with social distancing, hand sanitizer and everyone wearing masks. I found the items I needed quickly (having researched first on their website) and was quickly served at the checkout where I found the staff very friendly and efficient.

Went in Halfords without a pre-booked appointment with the intention of having my mudguards changed. Despite being fully booked, the member of staff at the bike service desk, Leon, went above and beyond helping me to come up with a solution. Left with the existing mudguards fixed rather than changed (only option available due to the lack of fixings on my bike) and with two accessories purchased with very valuable advice from the same member of staff. Very impressed and delighted! Well done Halfords!

If you want to the discuss the issue, get in touch with the Chatham store and ask for my details to get in touch rather then me waste any more time contacting Halfords. I'm sure if you explain what I've wrote they'll know exactly what the case is about and forward my contact details to yourself. I wont be holding my breath though as correspondents back and fourth isn't one of Halford's strong points. Bike went into store for repairs 3 weeks ago. Still not fixed. Had 2 ring up twice to find out what was happening as staff did not think to let me know at any stage. Have been given 2 different quotations for the same job. Work had been carried out which I did not agree or was even aware off. Manager shows no empathy when the issue was discussed and is more then happy to pass the problem rather on elsewhere then help find the solution. The bike still isn’t fixed. I won’t be using this the Chatham store again. Please reconsider somewhere else when it comes to fixing your bike repairs.

I purchased a dash cam and fitting service online and when I arrived wasn’t on the system but the manager was able to sort the issue straight away without any fuss and the instal was fantastic! Exactly what I was hoping for, absolutely no wires visible after and the price was very good too! All staff are very polite and helpful making it a pleasant experience every time I go there.

Took my bike in because of a problem with the electric system, and was initially told it’d be in for a few days, well FIVE weeks later I get a call from Halfords Chatham saying it’s ready for collection. Seems if they know you use the bike to commute, they don’t care about the cab fares you have to fork out waiting !!! During this time I had 2 missed calls from them, but I called them weekly, so I had to go through the new customer service system, yet my phones voicemail wasn’t used !!! Yes, someone eventually helps my wife put it in the car, and he was going to lunch !!! Get the bike home and find that the tyres are soft & the battery is nearly flat ???? ???? ???? Excellent Customer Care ???????????? NOT !!!

Despite a recent powercut and technical issues, both members of staff who dealt with me were professional and provided service with a smile. This is my third bike purchase in under 9 months with this Halfords store and due to the staff’s professionalism I even bought a saris bones roof rack. So all in all I’ve spent over £1500 there recently ????

Very dissatisfied service . Kept getting emails saying bikes booked in for a service when they already had my bike for repair . Had the free bike check one week come back as fine apart from gear cable needed changing . And front Back wheel buckled . Got the wheel done and then got it booked in a few weeks later for the cable to be repair and then they find more faults even though I didn't ride it . Was told it would be ready in a couple.of days 2 weeks later I collected after going to the store 3 times because the customer service told me it was ready for collection ????. Whe. Inactual fact they was still waiting for the parts . Safe to say that was the first time I had used Halfords for my bike to be done and it will be the last .

I have Halfords trade card and I have purchased 18 modular trays this year I buy them on line and colle t them at Chatham. The team set up my trade account for me even tho Maidstone is nearest to me the staff at mechanical desk are always friendly and very good. Keep up the great work team ????

Me and my son took his bike in for a safety/ overall state bike check and we was in the shop very quickly the staff were ready for us on time and the chap who checked the bike over made his brakes safe so he could ride home safely which I found very nice of him and think he went beyond what he was supposed to be doing.

Needed help with a dash camera which I bought in Halfords. The advisor convinced me that there is a problem with a SD card hence needed replacement for a lager capacity. And persuaded to buy one which was more expensive. However the new card has not solved the problem. The advisor has a little knowledgeable about it. So I had to return the SD card.

some of the best customer service in this store, everyone was very helpful. The staff are great. however the prices of almost everything cost more than you could get them for online, though halfords does have great advice on what to buy so you dont have the risk of purchasing the wrong item online

Staff friendly and helpful. Store clean and well set out good range of products and fairly priced. Plenty of free parking in all a nice store, but do not rely on the store computer to give the correct part for your car. I brought bombs for my old corsa only to find they were wrong, and now I have brought bulbs for my focus and they are wrong too. The bulbs were brought using the in store computer where you put I your registration and it brings up your vehicle only tells you to buy the wrong bulbs.

I mean ordering was a pickle as it didn't tell me until after i paid that it wont be there until next week. So i re ordered a different pack of wipers that would be available today. But the staff (Jade) who served me was getting rude, short and flustered with me when all i was trying to do was explain the situation etc. I wasnt to know that two separate orders would have the same order number but the way she spoke its as if i was in the wrong when i was trying to clarify to her what had happened. I also didnt appreciate the condersending good bye she gave me which was so discouraging for me to come back as a customer. But all in all happy with my wipers just the service was abit abysmal from Jades part.

I will like to highlight the excellent customer service i received in the halford store in Chatham. I had a problem with my bike and the staff member Joe was very helpful and patient. He went out of his way to help and provided a solution to the problem. That added customer service is what makes a difference and keep customer loyal. Out of all the choices of shop to go, I will return again to spend more here. Keep up the good work.

The reason for my review is not the store itself but Halford. I asked for brake light to be done and for Reg. Plates which I very clearly said I had myself to be fitted. On booking the man checked and returned to phone and said they could be done at same time as light. Halfords store on arrival said they only fit the plates they have made. It has wasted my time and caused more expense. I could have had the two jobs done together. I don't like being lied to.
