Excellent chips, best in Liverpool. Very good Chinese food (the spicy meal for 2 does not disappoint!). Fish is good with good crispy batter. Well priced with friendly service from a family focused on serving their community.

Made a phone order was told it be ready in 10 got there and no order to be seen. They took my order again, 15 minutes later still waiting plus 2 people who came in after me with larger orders got served before me very ignorant i won't be going back. Food was average.

One of the best local chippies around. Old school so you won't find it on Just Eat or any similar Apps. Kinda makes this place a hidden gem. Food is always delicious. Staff are always friendly and you can rest assured you'll probably go back again. Anna's had been part of the community for longer than I can remember and once you've been a few times you'll be remembered and treated like family.

Gutted when I moved out of Wavertree as this is just the best takeaway in Liverpool bar none! Paid a little visit the other day after not living locally for around 15 years now and it was even more amazing than I remembered! It was well worth the drive. Lucie & Dave :)

There isn't a better chippy than this for miles. The actual chips are always excellent unlike some chippys which can be soft and wet or undercooked. Great selection and good quality.

The best "chippy" in Wavertree, probably in Liverpool!!
But, don't take my word for it! - just walk to "Lawrence Road" L15 0EE! and ask anyone, yes, anyone for the best "chippy" around there!
There are, of course, many others! and other fast food outlets! (kebabs, burgers ect)!
But, none to the consistent standard of food and most importantly, "cleanliness" as is "Anna's"!!
Furthermore, it is the longest standing "chippy" around here, over 30+ years, the others "come and go" or change hands overnight!
Anna herself, is loud, but lovely!
Staff are really "friendly"!
"nothing" is to much trouble!
"Chips are great"!!!
It's the only place we "locals" would use!!
