It's ok I suppose. Not the friendliest place. But they have a cash point, & best of all. M&S food. A bonus is the 24hr service. Car wash ok. Cleaned the car. Though we did need to shammy the water off.

Typical garages ripping off the public with extortionate prices on fuel and snacks.
Typical BP fuel price was 128 vs Asda 119..then to top it off you pay double for a soft drink over a supermarket. And if its an M&S BP garage it's like 4 for a sandwich. The companies like this are not helping the public in this climate. Some independent garages with less brand clout often have better pricing.

Massive improvement on the old garage, and thanks to the M&S Simply Food setup, the only place to get decent supermarket food on a Sunday night in Lewes. Which means it's best avoided then as the place is packed.
Staff must do the night shift at Lewes Prison based on their approach to customer service. Let's hope for a self checkouts in future...

I think it's probably ok if you know their "system", but when you've not used the place much and go to what looks like the food till only to be told you need to join the main queue (why have a separate food till?) it's annoying. Double annoying when you then order your coffee at the main till and then nobody tells you that you have too pick it up at.... the food till.
Also the fuel is expensive compared to Eastbourne just down the road (5p per litre more, so £3.00 pet tank, or two sausage rolls, depending on your currency and the till you used)

Staff seem a bit funny at time when I've gone in to make a purchase. Items are expensive but not a issue. A big improvement from the esso that was there
I'm a bit unsure why it's stating as permantly closed as it's only been redone in the last 5 months.

Staff always chatting behind the counter, leaving you waiting to be served. I have been served a few times by staff members chatting to another and was served with little acknowledgement. Also, for a 24/7 garage always seems to be closed at about 10.30pm.

Waited 8 mins to get 2 coffees and couple of pastries, only one person in front of me and after waiting 8 mins had to leave as on way to work, just went to normal till and left with a pack of strepsils!!!
Staff making Costa Coffee totally inadequate! Drive on by, petrol is expensive too!

1st of all BP stations (not just this one) need to have a separate queue for customers that are just there to pay for fuel every time I go into one of these places I'm stuck behind some Person doing their weekly shop and there's only ever one person serving.
