Took 2 iPads for screen repair, 1 was badly smashed and was told it might require new lcd..
Both were swiftly restored to new without needing lcd, and i was also given a £20 discount, which I didn't know existed..
Honest, speedy, reliable and fantastic value.
Will certainly use again and highly recommend.

I came in to the shop with a broken phone screen on my iPhone. The first time I came to pick up my phone the phone screen wasn't even working at all. How can you give a product back to a customer without even testing it? The second time I got my phone back the screen was working intermittently and the home button was broken. Stop fitting cheap grade screens and take responsibility for braking the home button.

iPhone screen placement - don't do it! First of all, the staff were very polite and helpful, no problem there. The replacement screen isn't a genuine apple replacement, nor is it apple certified. I was told all this before, however, I was also told that I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the replacement screen iSmash use and a genuine apple product. This is absolute nonsense. 1.) the replacement screen sporadically flickers, which is very annoying, 2.) it dims and brightens on it's own despite the auto-brightness setting being turned off, this is also very annoying, 3.) even with the screen brightness turned to minimum, the screen is still very bright, much brighter than with my old apple screen, 4.) the battery life is now shorter than before, and finally, 5.) some apps, not all, are now much less responsive to the touch. If you're thinking of replacing your iPhone screen with these guys, seriously don't do it, you will regret it. Pay the extra and get a genuine apple replacement. I'm going to take the screen back and see what iSmash will do about it - will post another review for this.

Beware!
Went for a smashed screen. Got that fixed no problem.
On the walk home realised the speaker was suddenly blown! Also the screen protector I bought was buckling already. Tried to call , no one picked up so left an email message.
In short, Petar the store manager took what I felt was a hard line and refused to fix with charging me AGAIN.
The reason ? A warranty technicality... He quoted 'water damage'. I know my phone hasn't been submerged in water etc.
Regardless, why would it only be an issue when I left their store? And why wouldn't I have included this as part of my initial repair enquiry?
What's more worrying is that Petar tried to misquote my statutory rights regarding the screen, the onus was on me to prove the goods didn't leave the store faulty .
I worry that other people might just accept this if they don't know their consumer rights.
The guy in the store was nice and replaced the screen for me .
Otherwise... Just be careful

I took my phone in recently for a charging problem, they told it was probably the charging point or something and that it was a risk to replace as there could also be something wrong inside and that the repair would probably be too expensive to take a risk. I then took it to another business who promptly fixed the phone with no problems at all. I have no knowledge of their service itself but am just saying they in my experience their advice is not necessarily the be all and end all and you should seek further advice if necessary.

The worst customer service I received. Went in with a macbook and they didn't even do their job properly. When I had to go in again for them to fix it, they kept rolling their eyes and didn't even look at me, very indiferent about the problem, so unprofessional. They told me it would take 3 days to fix something they did in 2 hours, just because they wanted to send us home. Called up the customer service and was promised better service and nothing happened. Worst staff ever. Had problem with the payment as well, my card went through, and my mobile banking showed so, but they made me go back and forth with my bank to get them proof of payment twice. So dissatisfied and dissapointed for I spent 650£ for that kind of service.

Excellent customer service. The Brighton team (especially Beau) went above and beyond to source my screen - my phone is very new and more of a unique model.
The price was cheaper than the quotes I received everywhere else.
After receiving the part they fixed it within a couple of hours. I dropped it off at lunch and picked it up after work. Very happy indeed!

I've had 2 dealings with iSmash Brighton. The first was when I got water into my MacBook about a year ago and they sorted it out for me and have had no problems since. The second was replacing a battery in my iPad pro. Unfortunately just by shear bad luck the battery was faulty and they changed it immediately and now everything is perfect. They are a really nice bunch of guys, extremely friendly and very helpful. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

MY Samsung Galaxy S7 was getting on a bit.. cracked screen and battery life failing. Took it to iSmash who replaced the screen and battery for a reasonable price and very quickly (less than 2 hours). The new screen works perfectly, and the battery life is much improved, almost like the phone is brand new again. Would recommend!

I dropped my phone and smashed all the glass on my way to work. I made an appointment with ismash for a few hours later after researching various repair outlets. The service was great and they price matched the offer i had received elsewhere. It took about 45 minutes and I managed to fit this in during my lunch break. I would certainly recommend them.

I smashed my front screen on iphone 8 plus.
I used it like that for a week and took it to them.
l took out my sim card to use my number on the other phone. At the store they asked my passcode but l was not really happy to give them as there are a lot personal things on it.
After that he wasn’t really kind with me and said they can’t test it without it and because of the sim card they can’t give a warranty for the microphone as they can’t test it.
After l took my phone home an hour later the microphone stopped working( very interesting).
I took it back and they told me it is my fault as I took the sim card out and that’s why they could not test it.
Another £50.
That was the first and last with these company.

They had to order in a part for my phone repair, they said they'd call me in a few days to say it had arrived but never did. However when, two and a half weeks later, they finally had the part they did my Sony xperia XA perfectly, I am very happy with the final result. It took an hour and a half, which was faster then any other places I looked at and was cheaper than other places. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend (I got the impression that what happened with my part was not something that happened often and they were very apologetic)
