Very nice store. Set out in a easy way to navigate, staff are friendly and there is a very good range of products. Not too expensive for what they offer. There are stairs and elevators but a lift for those who cannot use these.

Great to see that this HMV store remains open after so many were closed after months of uncertainty. Well laid out store with music upstairs and t shirts and movies etc downstairs. Large selection of vinyl records as well, excellent. Good to see vinyl making a come back

I was unable to attend the Keane Cause and Effect album signing, however the staff at HMV got albums signed and sent to me. They arrived within two days and were packaged fantastically well. I really appreciated the brilliant service- I feel they really went above the call of duty.

This is a survivor of a dying breed of stores. It's recently came back from recently being shut down in a story that resembles a Hallmark movie where the good guys win. Excellent selection and definitely has a novelty factor. Does have good merchandise that don't have digital equivalents, like posters and speakers

A great collection of vinyls and music T shirts. Always a great place for music lovers to go. The range of speakers is good, with a good price range too, however the selection of earphones is even better with lots of choice from quite cheap to very expensive.

Good shop with lots of stock. Prices vary but some good deals to be had if you look through. Didn't specifically look for lift access but escalator takes you down but need to use stairs coming back up so be aware if mobility issues.

Good to still have a proper record shop in Leicester instead of bloody on line rubbish. They seem to have most things in stock including a wide selection of Vinyl which isn't coming back because it hasn't been anywhere. I do miss the 7" Singles though.

I really like the store and has improved alot with the amount of kpop albums there are, just wish there would be more of different kpop artists.

The last music store standing on the high street and long may they rein. However, they need to make the stores a "destination" that people want to visit. There should has in- store gigs for established, new and unsigned artists. They should also offer weekly prizes of gig, cinema tickets etc. They should also bring back the kiosks where you could scan a CD and preview the tracks.

Well informed and friendly staff always willing to put themselves out for you. It's in the city centre so it's easy to get to with car parking very near by in the high cross shopping centre. A VERY large & varied choice of films including a new exclusive range of DVD blue ray with extras of films from the 1950s, 60s, & 70s.
Well worth a visit just now for Xmas gifts to. Places to eat & drink on the doorstep to.

Not to weel chair friendly and prams are going to have issues going downstairs in hmv however the staff are very friendly and helpful there's a lift for the public to use but not a ramp or anything like that

I hope it's still there when I go back to Leicester. Vinyl is coming back as can be seen by all the patrons looking through the records here. A great place to find a CD you didn't realise you needed to listen to before you went in. A large number of memory-jogging displays and the prices are good.
