Brilliant service from Universal Lighting. We ordered a shade online some time ago and have just received it - it's exactly what we were looking for and we're delighted with how it looks in the room. The service we got from George and Debbie was outstanding - they quickly told us that the shade was made abroad and would be shipped here & we were kept informed with a regular e mail update along the way right up to & including the packing & delivery to our door. Have just received two lampshades ordered a little while ago as they were out of stock. The lampshades were perfect and as I had searched the internet for the perfect colour was a great relief!! The service from Universal Lighting has been second to none. Had a couple of issues regarding bulbs, but ULS sorted them out and kept us updated as to progress. Special shout out to Eddie as he dealt with us via telephone, the service felt very personal more like good old fashioned customer service, that's not seen much these days with online shopping. First class in every way. I ordered two bedside lamps, having searched many different sites, most of which offered over-priced items - though often poor availability of stock. I received a call a day after placing the order to say that the items would be packed the following week and sent, which is great customer service and more than I would usually expect! I had an email to confirm that the items had been sent, with a tracking reference. The goods arrived in perfect condition, really well packaged, and even had a lovely personalised note of thanks for my order. The lamps are great and well worth the price. It's service like this that proves it is often the independent suppliers that deserve our business, rather than the big faceless giants.

Delighted with my lovely table lamp. Outstanding customer service, which included a friendly phone call to let me know the lamp was on its way, and a personalised note inside the parcel with a handwritten signature from a member of the team. Packaging was mostly brown paper with minimal plastic and parcel arrived by courier at the stated time. Would definitely use this company again and will be recommending to friends.

From the point of placing my order communication from universal Lighting Service has been excellent at every stage. Delivery was prompt was again is excellent especially at this time. On receipt of my order one part was in excellent condition. Unfortunately the second part was flawed. As soon as I made Universal Lighting Service aware of this. They took immediate action by providing me with a replacement which again was delivered to me in record time. My purchases where exactly as I would have expected, good quality value for money items.

They were responsive to the simplest of questions and helpful to the novice electrician. The lovely note inside the parcels are a delightful touch.
