I would definitely rate the kitchens we have bought her and John far outshines other kitchen designers we have used. Good value and quality. I also like the reduced plants section. I have rescued many a pot at half price to have it grow into a lovely plant. Bought an acer for £7.50 several weeks ago and it's doubled in size.

Ordered loft board packs using the 'Click and Collect' service. Received a text to say when they were ready for collection. Boards were already on a flat bed trolley, so straight forward process. While there, we also looked around the store and picked up a number of other things. All in all a successful day.

DO NOT BUY A KITCHEN FROM HOMEBASE! They are very quick to offer you everything under the sun when they want your money, to the point of pressuring you to get to the store within half an hour under the guise of "missing an offer if not ordered right now which will save you £2000" but when things are wrong they do not want to know. Kitchen designed by this store, measurements checked with the lady 3 times and told absolutely no problems. 1) kitchen is delivered to be told by the delivery drivers they cannot enter my home because of COVID, even with masks and social distancing. I was not told this when ordered otherwise I would have waited until restrictions had eased. This left me a 5'3 woman to carry 190 pieces of heavy kitchen into my house alone as it was raining!! 2) No delivery note with the delivery to check it matches the invoice, advised to wait for my indipendant kitchen fitter to unpack the kitchen and inspect the units, OK that's fine as I presume its all correct as that's what I've paid over £4000 for. 3) Kitchen fitter arrives, loe and behold parts of the kitchen haven't been delivered, multiple items are the wrong size and part of the kitchen cannot be installed. Call homebase to be told that delivery of these items can take up to 2 weeks and there is nothing they can do about it?!? 4)It then turns out that the lady who has designed our kitchen clearly cannot perform simple maths and has designed units in that are too big for the wall so will not fit, again called homebase, their idea of a reasonable solution was to CUT THE UNIT AND DOOR AND FIT THAT INSTEAD as I quote "its very rare that things will ever fit exactly". At this point I've had enough so I tell homebase that I want to return the kitchen as this is not what I have paid for. They claim they cannot offer a refund as they have offered me a reasonable solution despite both myself and a professional stating it is not reasonable. Told to go to the ombudsman if I want my money back as it appears this isn't their issue despite them admitting to being at fault leaving us with no kitchen, no running water downstairs and a living room full of appliances. I have now had to pay a further £4000 to another company to supply a kitchen that will fit, and be fit for purpose (turns out it's actually better quality for the same price so all that hastle about ordering right now to save money was clearly a lie to push sales figures up) so that I can actually live in my house and have basic amenities. Homebase Morecambe staff incredibly rude and uninterested when they have admitted fault but they don't care because they've already got your money, in the current climate this is absolutely shameful! Consequently I have contacted the ombudsman l, citizens advice and my bank who have ALL agreed homebase are at fault and a I am legally entitled to a full refund under the consumer rights act and are in the process of filing the case with them. Absolutely disgusting that homebase seem to think it's acceptable to be rude to customers, expect someone to live in a biulding site of a house for 2 weeks (if my kitchen fitter could move other jobs to squeeze us back in) bearing in mind under current restrictions we have no choice but to stay at home. Completely uninterested in resolving a dispute reasonably and offering even the basic customer service. Moral of the story is do not buy from homebase as once they have your money if anything is wrong its not their problem even if they are the ones who have made the error!

Went other day with fiance and saw a storage 4 unit compartment storage unit as my other half has just come out of hospital with heart problems and I'm useless at trying to put anything together the lady with dark hair and her co worker so very very kindly assembled the unit and put it in the car for me (it's heavy)my son-in-law got it out for us at home I can't praise the kindness they showed I'm sorry I didn't get your names xxx

Good store for bits and pieces, but won't be going again due to the car park its far too small to accommodate the amount of cars that use it, it took me 20minutes to get a space and the spaces are too small I have a new car and there would be a possibility that it could get damaged.

Just visited the Morecambe store. I requested some assistance because the item I wanted is very bulky (bike shed). The lady (Sue) was extremely helpful. She went out of her way to assist me. She left the task she was doing to come outside with me, then checked stock, then when it was out of stock she offered to see if they could get one for me from another branch. After checking we found one in Kendal, so she is now arranging for it to be brought to Morecambe for me. She was amazing, very polite, friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. She is a credit to the shop. Would definitely recommend

Ever time I visit this store I find it hard to find staff. If you need help with anything expecially up stairs in the kitchen bathroom department make sure you have loads of time because you will be standing waiting for someone every time. And 9 times out of 10 the first person to come and see you has no idea because its not their department. I went in just before lockdown to buy a full bathroom set up and after waiting almost 10 min for someone to help I left and went to wickes where I paid more but was able to get help the moment I entered the bathroom display area.
