Part of the Nottingham University site and the Lakeside Centre. Been here today to see the FREE Viking exhibition. Fantastic display of information and practical exhibits to see. Lots of different events on throughout the year, great venue. Small cafe on site selling drinks and nibbles, toilets and a small shop. Car park however is pathetic, my advice is park the car at the Toton Tram park, which is free, and take the tram

Wonderful paintings (Hitchens) but difficult to see most of them because of glare from lighting on glass.

I came here afew times back in 2013 or 14 around the time the tram lanes were being built and there was this one asian female that worked behind the cafe till, she looked indian or pakistani that used to always have her boyfriend there and I never really spoke to her other than to order something to eat, she would speak to me with a disdain and very cheeky attitude for no apperent reason. She would sit down to flirt with her boyfriend and would both be giggling like little children while looking at me repeatedly. I felt like I was unwelcome and was being disrespected for no reason at all, I chose never to return ever again after that and never ever really bothered with the place until earlier when I drove past and those memories came back, it gave me a anxiety attack and even now I feel anxious just by remembering this place. I will not recommend anyone going to visit this place ever.

Got to be the best gallery in the Nottingham area. As well as getting really good exhibitions on a regular basis it is staffed by friendly and knowledgeable young people.

Safe and Pretty selection. Some sour grapes because my sculptures not selected, but really disappointed that no free-standing sculpture at all (2 wall-mounted pieces notwithstanding).

Great art gallery with many exhibitions free to enter. Good cafe on site and shop too. Next to Lakeside so very child friendly environment. Regularly go here for the interesting exhibitions they put on.

A lovely little gallery. A lot of students probably have never been inside but they're missing out. Particularly enjoyed Homage to the Bauhaus. The cafe is also nice.

I went to see the Ivon Hitchens display. I was most impressed with this. I found the café reasonably priced with a nice variety. This is the first time I have been to the Lakeside in a very long time and I was impressed with the changes.

Art gallery fantastic with excellent exhibitions. Cafe could do with a boost; worst, most expensive sandwich I've ever had! Bring back the salad bar!
