Very poor service, It takes ages to get registered with this surgery. Myself and my friend both did the registration for our parents at the same time. His parents got registered in 4 days while it took more than 5 weeks for mine. Even after 5 weeks no NHS number got issued and as always receptionist doesn't know when that would be issued. Never seen such a slow and poor process. No transparency at all and no help either. Please look for other GP services but don't go to this one.

If you have a loved one that you care about, please do not use this Surgery. My elderly mother came out of hospital a week ago with a request for bloods. Thanks to this surgery this didn't happen until yesterday (8days later), even after numerous calls, today was diagnosed with an infection with raised markers. It then gets worse, I was then lied too, having been told by a doctor that a doctor was on their way to see her, they didn't turn up, we were then forced to call an emergency paramedic as her condition has got much worse, all thanks to this surgery. I have never experienced such a shocking lack of regard for peoples health, this surgery is a disgrace to the NHS. My mum is now in hospital with Sepsis and fighting for her life.

This used to be a very good surgery. I actually thought they had shut down. People do get things wrong with them not just Covid. The website is dreadful and information seems to be inaccurate. I am sad it seems to have gone down hill.

Do not register here! Where do I start? Rude receptionist staff. When registering they treat you as lesser than their existing patients, and despite many other surgeries doing a height check and weigh in as part of your first appointment, The Cedars requires height and weight to be filled in on the registration form before registration can be completed, and if you don’t know this information you’re sent into a room alone to take those measurements yourself, with no regard to patients who may have eating disorders or anxieties relating to weight. Despite marking our genders as male on the forms, receptionist addressed both me and my roommate in the feminine. Doctors are terrible when it comes to matters of mental health treatment, and less mainstream prescriptions. I frequently go without medication because the doctors don’t understand why I need it, despite specialists telling them I do. Don’t bother attempting to reach out to the practice manager either. I’ve sent him two emails and have gotten nothing in response, not even an automated response acknowledging receipt of the emails. By far the worst of the 6 GP surgeries I’ve been with.

Absolutely awful! HANG UP ON ME CONSTANTLY. I've had to chase them for my prescriptions, chase them for help with appointments, chase them for call-backs that dont happen and even call in several times because they hang up sometimes when you finally get through to reception. .

Reception staff is very bad, they lost the vaccine records (from Portugal) of my kids and then blamed on us for not keeping track of the vaccines... They are usually helpless in providing information. Medical staff and nurses are great, and if it wasn't for the reception I'd give 5 stars.

I've been a patient here for about 20 years and always get excellent service. The online tools for booking and repeat prescriptions, are very useful, the surgery is easy to access, good parking and the medical staff are fabulous.

Got an appointment at short notice when I needed one. Staff were very friendly and professional. Great at putting my 6 year old at ease throughout. Location is very convenient. I can’t think of anything to fault.

Receptionist over the phone extremely unhelpful! It feels as they have lost all sense of humanity. They are simply too busy to be helpful unless you are a baby or an elderly in emergency.

Conveniently failed to record accurate record of visit which prevented the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman from taking any further action over duty of care complaint. I would not recommend this surgery or its practitioners.

They give wrong information to patients, the receptionists are rude and decide on their own to send you to A&E (in my case it turned out that would have been wrong), doctors are as helpful as asking the neighbor for help. They very often use terms like "it might be" or "probably is nothing". Last thing I got was I am perfectly fine even though ivI' been already 3 days in bed with severe headache and body aches while pregnant. I can go on and on for their mistakes and ignorance.

The front staff at the surgery are some of the most unhelpful I have met. They don't seem to appreciate that they are the front face of the surgery, and have never given me a straight answer on anything. Do not try to use the app to access any of your data because the staff all provide mixed messages. Am so disappointed as have always had excellent care with the NHS in other cities.

Althought I struggled to get an appointment I was advised to get the "MyGPapp" and finally booked an appointment(took about 3 days) i booked one with the doctor called Kate really helpful and understandable about my problem, Maybe I haven't been there for long enough to understand all the negative feedback but everything seemed good to me so I'll give it 4*

The worst surgery ever. there is literally nothing positive i can say about them. Receptionists are rude and unhelpful, doctors absolutely dont care and just want you out of the room, waiting time for an appointment is extremely long 3+ weeks. To call them is a nightmare, options dont work, or line disconnects or just no one answers. Their app is useless, unless you want to cancel an appointment, that always works. They mix up info/details and tell you its your fault.

The nurses are always there to assist, no complaints. The booking online system is very good but is very limited to routine appointments. When you need blood tests or other assistance the website is pretty useless. Would be better to give the chance to choose different options and then be contacted, by the surgery, by Email or telephone.

I have been at this surgery for 7 years now and I know which doctors to have and which ones not to. There is one doctor who I will never see as she is very unhelpful. Two of the doctors there are fantastic and the others are ok apart from one, wait times are long so expect to be there an hour. There are two good receptionists the others are very rude, booking a more specialist appointment can be a nightmare. The nurses are always helpful and patient and I’ve never had any issues with them.

In my experience a terrible surgery, I have been going there for twenty years or more and have been wrongly diagnosed on a few occasions. I have also been treated very ignorantly at times by staff who seem to lack training. I would avoid at all costs due to the fact that if you really require medical assistance on a critical issue then you may well not get it from Cedar Surgery and like me you could well be wrongly diagnosed. I since changed surgeries and my new surgery is amazing and worlds apart from Cedar Surgery.

SUCH a long wait to book an appointment - 3+ weeks. And I'm then kept waiting between 10-15 mins even when I arrive promptly for my appointment and they're not busy. I find their automated phone system ridiculous as I'm never able to book an appointment that way.

I went in without being registered and was seen very promptly (within an hour). Went back later same day as things had got worse and again was seen very quickly. I'm sure this is due to the nature of the injury however receptionists and doctors were very considerate, friendly and helpful so my experience so far has been fantastic.

Look elsewhere! Doctor was good but reception staff are unhelpful and very unprofessional. At times wondering if they know what they are doing, not what you want from a doctors. Will be changing surgery.

I have tried to make a routine doctor's appointment using the automated booking system. The message I get back is that there are no available appointments at any time. My alternative is to book an emergency appointment even though this is not an emergency. If I do manage to get a doctor's appointment I only ever see a locum or a nurse practitioner. There is no facility to email the practice manager with these issues. When I was in the surgery and asked to see the practice manager I was kept waiting for long I ended up going home without seeing anybody.

Took like three months to register me, had to go in person several times to get it sorted. First time, I was told to bring ID, proof of address etc. I then get a call a month later saying that I'd never given them any documentation. It turns out that they lost it??

Called to be temperory registered and the front desk staff was questioning "Why I chose their clinic" and that they can't see me today, once I said I don't need to be seen today, she replied : don't know if we can see you ... The most rude, irritable and unprofessional individual I have EVER spoken to
