My husband has been in hospital with covid/pneumonia, thankfully we got the good news he could come home but we needed a brand new bed and mattress the day after we was told, so me and the family had been looking but it would be days even weeks for delivery. Then I came a cross United Carpets + Beds in Long Eaton and they were fantastic, really helpful and the best thing is I got a brand new bed and mattress delivered that very day, so now I have my husband home and all thanks to everyone who works there, so again thank you

Seems an odd set up currently. In fairness to match the very odd times we live in.
The store appears to be open with lights on and staff moving about inside, so we parked up (more warning signs about parking infringements than spaces) in the car park behind the store, where it is completely unclear where you can park - some 'United Carpets Customer Parking' signs might help.
It is certainly ambiguous from their company website's latest statement regarding lockdown opening whether their stores are open or not, with one message contradicting the other.
Anyway, we stood outside the side entrance and tried to catch somebody's attention. Nobody looked over. It was a freezing day, so we went back to our car and telephoned them. We were then told we couldn't come inside, but somebody could come to the door and show us samples. Ridiculous, and we left it.
I feel sorry for companies like United Carpets and businesses in general during the madness and contradictory rules Lockdown has imposed. That said, a clear message to the effect of what we were later offered as their current level of service would help greatly if that was placed both online and on the windows of the store. Customers could then make an informed choice as to whether they wanted to progress their interest or not.
Hopefully we can visit again when society has regained its senses.

I went into the Long Eaton store yesterday, having already spent a considerable amount of money there previously. I wanted to know if they had the same vinyl flooring I had previously purchased, as I want the same in my new house. I know the owner there and I was shocked as to how rude he was to me , referring to me as ‘she’ and being unhelpful. I will not be purchasing anymore flooring from this store now!

My daughter bought vinyl floor for the whole house reasonably priced but the actual fitting was disgusting ???? putting it midly not cut straight at the bedroom doors or down the sides really dissatisfied

I had been quoted elsewhere for carpets and then spoke with Daryl on the 'phone who promptly beat the quote after offering 3 different options. When we arrived at the shop the carpet was cut and ready and he helped carry it to our car. Quick, courteous and value!

Really Bad people to deal with. They are just for the money and their profit sake. They will give you a lot of policies for nothing done. Luckily i didnt get my work done with them. My polite advice never even approach them for God sake. They dont even deserve one star.i heard client or customer is the boss, but with these people they are the boss of our money. Cheap people. They should go and beg in streets rather than living on customers money.
