Talked me into a car outside my budget range. Would have gotten the truck I was looking at had I known both vehicles were the same price. The car they sold me had bald tires, I almost wrecked immediately within a few days of purchase. All the trim is falling off, sunroof never worked, back passenger window broke within a month, and within a month and a half or so the cat converters started going out. Wish I would have heard the rumors before I needed a new car, they are all true. Avoid this place like the plague unless you like wasting hard earned money on over priced trash vehicles.

This is the 2nd car my family has bought from Carson Cars. We got into a really nice, fully loaded 2009 Honda Accord. I was really happy that we were able to stay within my goal budget and were treated so nicely by David and the rest of the staff at Carson. The experience was a great one and I'm sure we will be back :)

They actually fixed for free what they said they would during the test drive and that was after I had already bought the car... Carson Cars kept their word to me... also their 90-day warranty helped me replace the alternator after it stopped working... Mike at their repair shop even gave me a loaner car to use during the repair... the 90-day warranty was 50/50 but I thought that was fair considering most car sales just send you on your way... overall a great experience buying a car from them with happy smiles all around... Garrett,my salesman,was a no spin guy and very Pleasant to deal with... I highly recommend Carson Cars...

I think it is interesting that management has the time to respond to good reviews here but hasn't had the time in 5 months to respond to my calls and emails about how they obtained my credit information when I have NEVER BEEN NEAR THIS PLACE.An outside credit bureau had to notify me since Carson Cars failed to do so in a timely fashion. I have called and emailed repeatedly to see what they did with my stolen credit info and where they might have sold it. And how they got it in the first place! And Nobody responds. They are thieves - stay away from this place unless you want to have your identity and credit info stolen and traded on the dark web. No Joke.

I was in the market for a car to replace the 1997 Ford Escort I was driving. I had been told by multiple people how great Carson Cars was so I decided to check them out online and see what they had to offer. I'm normally a big Subaru guy and was initially disappointed by their lack of Subarus at the time I was looking, but I ended up falling in love with a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited that they had there. About a week later my wife and I went to go look at it and hopefully buy it. It really is a wonderful specimen of a vehicle. We worked primarily with Dave G. and he was wonderful. He was very nice and attentive and went to great lengths to make sure we got the car. Cale U. also was a huge help in getting us approved for a loan. They actually ended up knocking $500 off the price of the car to get us approved. All in all we had a great experience and I ended up with an amazing car that will last me a long time.

I live in Kent, but Carson Cars had a 08 WRX listed that I was very interested in. I SCHEDULED an appointment, over 24 hours in advance, to test drive this car, but when I arrived at our scheduled time I was told the car needed to go into the shop, but they had another vehicle ready for me. It was also AWD, so it was close to what I was looking for. A WRX is not the same as an Audi A4..... It took me nearly an hour to get from Kent to Lynnwood. A simple phone call would have been great. Not a fan of that bait and switch game!

We recently bought another Escalade from Carson Cars and worked with Bobby Elder. This was by far the easiest and best feeling Car buying experience we have ever had. Bobby Robert Scott and the whole staff were very friendly, low pressure, and honest. Shortly after buying our vehicle we had a completely unforeseen problem, they fixed the problem completely free and loaned us a Car free while fixing it! In fact when the loaner car didn't fit my wife and kids, Bobby got the owner Mike to loan us a mini van! These guys go above and beyond- Super Happy we bought here- Carson Cars is our Place and Bobby Elder is our car guy! Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone!

NO STARS – STAY AWAY – BEWARE - My young Son paid $8,000 for a 1997 Chevy Suburban with over 250,000 miles, which included a so called warranty. 2 hours after signing the agreement, the steering almost went out on the car and he almost had an accident. We felt the car was very dangerous and I did not want him driving it. He called Carson Cars immediately and they came and towed the vehicle. After getting the run around for days, my Son called me, so I called them and talked to Stephanie who said that we could sign a hold harmless agreement and void the contract and my Son could get his $800 down payment back. When I went to the dealership to sign the paperwork as instructed, (I have my Son’s Power of Attorney) – I also received the run around. Stephanie said she never talked to me, I must have talked to Vicki, Robert the salesman threatened me that he was going to put a repossession on my Son’s good credit. Carson Cars would not follow through with what a representative of their company promised me and void the contract and give my Son’s $800 down payment back. The only way to get out of that contract was to let them keep the $800. So now they have $800 of my son’s hard-earned money and my son has no car and had the worst experience ever of buying a car. I have written 3 e-mails to the owner, Mike Carson, with absolutely no courtesy of a response.
This company is disgusting and offensive to me.
PS - Look at the response from "The Owner" to Kellie Peterson's review. "Repeat business is the core of what we do" - False - What a joke.

Dealing with Carson Cars was HANDS DOWN the best car buying and trading experience. The staff is great, no high pressure sales! One word that comes to mind is FAIR - fair deal on the purchase and fair deal on the trade-in, which we never expected from car dealers based on our previous experiences elsewhere. We would absolutely recommend them to our friends and family and when it's time for another vehicle we will back to these guys.

Experience was great from the start. Until the transmission went out on me after 45days after having the car right after I paid my first car payment now the auto repair is telling I have to pay for the tax and fluids to put back in the transmission and other repairs that need to be done. I have a warranty but for some reason I still have to pay. A total lemon is what I was sold. 2002 Ford Expedition that I still don't have that is still in there Auto repair shop. No one wants to help. The finance manager says I'm the owner at what cost 30 days I thought I was buying a reliable vehicle for my family. Going to the BBB

Be careful of their practices. At Carson Cars recommendation, my daughter co-signed on a friend's car. After it was repossessed, they refused to work with us to negotiate some settlement, and for a daughter with 6 years of severe chronic pain and trying hard to work, from my perspective, their primary focus is on revenue at the expense of customer service and satisfaction.

For over 10 years, we have trusted Carson Cars with our used car needs. They have never disappointed. Years ago, when we were building our credit as 20 year olds, their in-house financing allowed us to do so while supplying us with a reliable (and cute!) car for college and work. Once we paid that off and were ready to move up, we once again found Carson Cars the best possible choice for a fancy new-to-us car with a reasonable price on a reliable vehicle. Over the last 10 years we have purchased many cars and have suggested them to all of our friends and family. Before you answer with “We have checked our records and you are not in our family run business database” I am not. I was interested in a 2012 Mercedes c class. I responded to a carfax ad and was texting with David Gonzalez. I set an appointment to look at it. Drove an hour in rush hour traffic. When I arrived, David said “oh, I was going to text you. The car is very bad. It’s in the shop. At least I told you. Hey, we have other cars..”
. No, thanks. I do want to thank you for the perfect example of bait and switch for my son, though. I was paying cash, but I find it disgusting that you are doing this to people that have no other way to get a car. Shame. Gross.

So I stopped into Carson Cars as I was in need of a car as I'm a fulltime student and work fulltime, I have bad credit and just thought it would be a waste of my time. Carson Cars gave me an amazing trade in value on my old 1999 Hyundai and here I am now driving an amazing new car and the monthly payments are so low I can't believe it!!! WARNING - DO NOT BUY A CAR AT CARSON CARS!!
This company does not care about their customers. They lied to my Son about a car which could have caused a serious accident...and then refused to cancel the contract and return my Son's $800 after a representative of their company said they would over the phone. Robert, their salesman, threatened repossession on my Son's credit report. Mike Carson, Owner, will not return e-mails. The only way to get out of the contract was for them to keep his deposit of $800. Very unreasonable people to deal with. Would never buy a car there and will tell everyone our story.

In regards to Norman Solomon. to Mike Carson
We responded to the BBB response. And since I'd assume you would check the reviews sooner than BBB, We are willing to split the balance owed to Ford. Both parties would owe roughly $2,500. and this would satisfy us. If you would like to do this, contact Norman, leave a voice-mail or respond to the BBB complaint.
The engine is NOT fixable, as told by several licensed/certified mechanics. So if you wanna work something out to resolve the issue, let's talk about resolutions that don't involve us "masking" the engines problems.
We're open to ACTUAL solutions. You can also take the truck back and give us our money back if you'd like. since you're saying the engines problems are "minor" you could easily re-sell the truck. but then you'd be selling a truck with engine damage that can't be fixed. whether you knew that or not when you sold it to US, you should indeed cover half with us for a replacement. that solves this issue in a way that doesn't only cover "you". And this is MORE than fair for us to even pay half. the truck was sold with that engine.

Do not buy from Crooked Carson Cars. They will tell you anything you want to hear to close the deal. Beware of their "free warranty." They will sell you a piece of junk at an exorbitant price then charge you to fix it at their shop "for half price." Instead of selling you a vehicle that has been looked through and runs well they will sell as is and have you fix it up at their shop. It's a good business model, they end up making money on both ends. If you find yourself eyeing a Carson Car save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

I did get a car at another dealership because it had just come in and fit all my parameters.
