The best, not exaggerating I have been buying from them past 25yrs + And I am always happy with their services. Quality mattress and cupboards wardrobes value for money. They carry it inside to the floor where you want it and also do the fixing of large items. They are very committed and trustworthy.

I have bought several products from this shop and I am totally in love with it.
There are a lot of unusual pieces of furniture of very good quality and reasonably priced.
The shop is big, so plenty to see.
As for those who run it I have nothing but praise, very friendly and open to requests like keep an item on hold, later collection etc.
The shop is located only minutes away on foot from Balham Station, on the main road, a very convenient location too.
One of my favourite furniture shops in London in every way ????????????????????

Been happy customer of shop for c.20 yrs. Recently, had a relatively minor issue with an item but one easy to resolve. It has taken 4 visits to try, inc today.
Been left incredulous at the manner in which I was spoken to today by the deeply unpleasant Manager, Saj.
When he realised shop had failed again, he was instantly defensive & argumentative. He arrogantly attempted to consistently talk over me in an highly aggressive manner in attempt to belittle & intimidate me.
I could not imagine him talking to a man in that manner.
Assistant embarrassed & had good grace to apologise for Saj’s behaviour after I said how upsetting & unnecessary this attack was, but Saj wasn’t finished yet & went in for round 2, telling me to get out & never come back (an unlikely scenario after today’s performance anyway but...).
Saj is not fit to hold position. He is ill mannered at best & not in control of his temper at worst.
I am a professional woman who expects courtesy, not to be attacked.

avoid this shop! Through my managing agency i bought thousands of pounds of furniture from them. This is the first time I buy from them directly. No discount on any furniture. When i was finishing the order Nizam promoted his mattresses to me and promised them to be firm. On 22nd Feb my tenants moved in and found the mattresses are so soft that they could not sleep on them at all. I called Nizam on the same day, he said he would take them back for 65 pounds charge. Despite the fact those requests are extremely unreasonable, I agreed.
I had then paid for my tenants to get IKEA mattresses. Nizam's mattresses are still in their original wrapping, untouched.
I called him today to arrange the pickup however he refuses to take them back at all.
If you want to avoid any legal actions with this company go as far from them as possible.

My spiritual home is John ! However, on this occasion I could not have received better service than with Saj at Balham Beds. Love the more expensive range (reclaimed range) and the service was second to none and had lovely new mattress delivered within the week!!! COuldn't recommend more highly.

Fantastic service: they came when they said they would; installed the new bunk beds and took away the old one and cleared everything up. They were punctual, fast and efficient and super polite. I'll know where to go to to get beds from in future. This service just couldn't be better. A deserved 5-star review!

I am a landlord and been a customer for 10 years plus with Balham Beds. i have always recommended family and friends who have also bought from Balham beds. I have recently been deeply disappointed with the level of service from the store. I have bought 3 wardropes from you recently for a property and came to replace a grasp for end of rail support bracket and felt that i should have been provided these at no fee when i have spent over £6k over the last couple of years. The manager wanted to charge me £20 for one when i have been able to buy a set in toolstation for £2.07. So to inform anyone else that needs to replace wardrobe rail end support bracket or even the wardrope do not buy from balham beds as they do not repay the loyalty.

Everything was fine until I had 2 return two pieces of furniture. The guys were extremely hard to deal with, said they cannot refund the item as it was specially ordered but had none in stock when purchased to show quality. (awful quality) Then they offered less than 50% credit of the chair, even when I accepted their awful offer, they tried to say there were damage to the chairs. I would never use these people again, and their own friends have said to avoid this place as when it comes to refund you they will only take you for a ride.
