It'a well managed practice. They get in touch with you at your home for tests.... They are always on the ball. The Belgrave Medical Centre is a success

Dr Muir is one of the nicest doctors I have met. The service is well run, it's easy to get an appointment. Dr Muir is approachable, kind, supportive and most of all carong. Her treatment of my wife has been first class and I really cannot understand any negative comments on here.

I read numerous reviews on the Internet of local doctors and I was quite concerned about registering with one Because they all seemed to have such bad reviews. but I thought I’ll just go with the closest and see how it goes I couldn’t be more wrong. Upon registering with the Dr. Victoria Muir practice my first contact was with the receptionist, who was very pleasant and helpful, I booked in for an appointment without any issue with a lovely Doctor, Dr. Oley, and she’s helped me a lot, she took the time to listen to me about my current health problems and refreshingly suggested a new course of action and asked to review in a few months. I then discovered the surgery has the same online medication and appointment booking system as my old surgery, which I was delighted with, and considering the surgery caters for so many people in the area I was amazed to see that appointments were available with multiple doctors as soon as the next day so booking in to see Dr Oley was no problem. Fast forward a few month and I needed to see a doctor quite quickly. Unfortunately Dr Oley was available on the days I could get to the surgery, that wasn’t a problem as there was a female doctor available and I didn’t mind seeing someone else I was thankful to have the facility with the online system and the my next appointment and appointments since have been with Dr Victoria Muir herself. Dr Muir who has also been as helpful, understanding and determined to resolve my issues as Dr Oley. They have both investigated with blood tests and tests and gone out of their way to help me. They have both made me feel like they have time for me whenever I have visited them (which has been a lot in the last year) i really didn’t expect this especially being in such busy central London practice. I can’t recommend the surgery enough and thank both Dr Oley, Dr Muir and the Dr Victoria Muir Practice for being my local surgery.

Dr Muir is the best and most caring doctor I have ever met. She makes you feel welcome and allows you to discuss your medical symptoms unlike other GPs who give you the minute per symptom treatment. She is extremely knowledgeable and has provided me with the best possible treatments available at the time. In fact it is very rare to find a doctor so compassionate yet so logical.

I had a really bad experience here with Victoria Muir - I had concerns about a specific illness that I had many of the symptoms of, and have since been diagnosed with at a different practice. At my appointment with Dr Muir she told me it wasn't worth the £600 that a ultrasound would cost for a diagnosis. At the time I was a bit put out, but I've since spoken to other Doctors about this and come to realise how unprofessional and inconsiderate she was. A shame, I am sure some of the other Doctors at the practice are fine.

Honestly the best doctor I've ever visited. It's great local practice, with friendly staff, professional doctors and efficient systems; I have never had to wait more than 24 hours for an appointment. Don't believe the bad reviews, just attention seeking hypochondriacs who don't like being told the truth.

She really hurt my feelings once more Is not the first time she’s done it . She’s rude ,intimidating and insensitive appearing ! Found a very good Doctor in the area who is understanding and I feel very confortable with them . It’s fair to say once she showed me some care. But overal I feel uncomfortable tense and intimidated visiting her.Unfortunately for personal reasons and a bereavement,I couldn’t do the transfer sooner. Had to many things on my mind and I hate confrontations.I am well enough now and I the position to Stand by self and-speak my mind. for All what I was asking it was a most needed referall which I’ve got straight away from my new doctor. Thanks God some one, recommended him to me after I told my close friend of my experiences with her . She accused me of having a very poor attendance record and that .....Wasn’t accurate .Comunicate with your colleagues and read records of very advance cancellation 1 with very justifing reasons. The surgery keeps confusing me with someone else even though I have taken my passport in several ocasións and makes it worse she doesn’t give the time to explain andand looses her temper . I am using this review to point out that I have been here for nearly 40 years and worked tirelessly to be a good citizen pay paying high taxes and National insurances contributions like most people . The fact that I have been really unwell for the last couple of years ,doesn’t give you or any other person the right to acused me of things I haven’t done . Also in many other occasions made me feel like I was some kind of a scrounger ! I suggest you do some more research in my real file and see the positive contributions I had proudly giving to this country that I love passionately.Do not make me feel guilty for requesting a few pain medication for my conditions ,and few other minor issues according to you. Finally one of the receptionists could benefit with some costumer service training even though she’s been there for some years . I am also very aware the situación with health service at the moment but I am not asking for nothing out the ordinary.all what I was asking is a much need referral and try to prescribe my medication once a moth of every two moths so wouldn’t have to pay more that £100 in the last 3 weeks ,but answering .....I don’t make the laws very rudely said.I will remember to tell my new doctor that is breaking the law as he just prescribed everything together.I do pay for my prescriptions contrary of you might understood or mistaken me with . My question is why a doctor in same area and similar budget is able and willing to listen and investigate rather, than giving me a lecture each time I meet with her. When she knew how vulnerable I was. Worth pointing out that in the last couple of years I have visited the surgery only once . Get your facts right please for future patients with similar condition. Please update your records with real names and dates of births, and don’t tell other patients with the similar name confidential information . I really thought you were very profesional only a bit bad tempered only ,but how wrong I was . Many thanks for all the sacrifices you had to made on your budget to help me,but it won’t be happing again .You surely are going to make some overwhelming savings without me in your practice. Good luck to patients who are happy with Doctor Muir . This’s not a personal attack ! Only an honest review . All the best

Service is as good as can be compared to other GPs I have been to. Only GP where you can get an appointment booked in without having to wait weeks. This is as good as public medicine is going to get, however, if you have very specific issues I wouldn't trust the NHS and their dodgy budgets, unfortunately would resort to paying a specialist in whatever area it is that I have the issue for.

Shocking attitude of one particular doctor. Have been told I don’t qualify for NHS referral with no substantial basis for such decision and that I need to go private. She even managed to twist things around to blame me for not issuing appropriate referral. On previous occasion I’ve been told by the same practitioner that people like I (i.e foreigners) - at the same time pointing out at inadequate level of my English in her honourable opinion- come here to sponge of the system and refused to give me a referral at the time. Disgraceful, insulting, racist, patronising and highly manipulative. This is the least you need when you are not feeling well already. I understand NHS is experiencing difficult times although it is hard to believe that it’s that bad. For instance a TV presenter would be strongly criticised if he allows himself to make remarks of this nature. For Public bodies it would be even considered discriminatory to treat people in such a way. Why does a general practitioner who deals with vulnerable people feel free to act in this manner? It is Important to mention I have not had a bad experience there with any other doctor while I was trying to avoid this particular one for quite some time. In fact there are some very caring and highly professional people at that practice.

This surgery has the worst customer service standard ever. If they can't manage to even register new customers properly, they for sure will not be able to treat any medical issues. Would not recommend

Like many people here, I have had the pleasure of being patronised and talked down to regularly by Dr Miur (my girlfriend at the time once called me in tears after she had an appointment), but i'd like to add that there are also at least two excellent doctors here as well: Dr Akbany who is the best GP I have ever met, and Dr Oley who is also very pleasant to deal with. Also a fantastic nurse, who I hope is still there. As much as I would rather be waterboarded by the CIA than see Dr Miur herself, a review here is a review for the whole practice, who are otherwise a great bunch.
