Engaged this company to tow my Toyota wish as it could not start. Timing was past midnight and the driver reached my location less than 45 mins from the time I called their hotline. Driver was professional and very helpful.

On 3 Aug 2020, I met a bad driver (YP7434E) from your company, i using your company to help me towing my vehicle to work shop, when your driver arrived alight and take photo, but his continued to swear foul language, i asked him what was wrong, and he said he swearing happy lei, His attitude really very bad, , I don't think our company will using your tow car service anymore, i will keep it thin, I hope others people don't met this type of driver (YP7434E) , To such a driver. I really very angry with him, Hope your company can take action to this driver.

Excellent and fast service!
I was stuck on the PIE as my tires got punctured by a nail. I proceeded to call my brother who advised me to engage a towing company and sent me the contact of the company he was familiar with.
Thankfully the tow truck arrived within a short span of 15 mins.
They towed my car to a cheap and reliable car workshop in Ubi as the experienced driver had a good understanding of the pricing of car workshops in Singapore.
I took his advice and as suggested it was very affordable. I must say that the driver was very polite and professional. This is the first time this happened to me and therefore I was quite anxious, the driver addressed my worries very well and explained very clearly step by step the procedures that I must undertake.
Would definitely recommend their services to the public!

Beware of additional charges if your car is rear wheel or 4 wheel drive. They don't tell you before hand. So you end up paying double.

Basically it's a rip off for motorbikes towing cost $50 wherever you guys go. Also , the waiting time is beyond what they promise. So up to your own risk of taking their service.

I can vouch for these guys good service technician well trained he advised me to park my van at safe location n begin hoisting. My boss toyota hiace had some previous problems and they also help us with battery issue, recommended. Not sure if they have bikebulance but if in future i kena problem on my bike i sure call them.

Priority is given to broken-vehicles on the road or delivery of new vehicles to car owners. Don't expect them to show up on time even if you have made an appointment if they know yours is not an emergency case. Expect to wait at least an hour or more likely 2 and after reminder calls to their call centre. Used their services twice and I had to wait on both occasions. Absolutely no respect for other people's time!

Forced to use Island Recovery on several occasions, and I have yet to have a positive experience. The only driver that has been assigned to me speaks only Mandarin and constantly complains about the smallest things, despite sometimes being an hour late. He has no care for the livestock being towed. My personal favourite experience was late at night, when he towed a trailer to our location, then dropped it off and left without providing a phone number or estimated time of return, despite us having agreed with IRS to tow the trailer to a different location afterwards. Costly, inefficient, have no respect for other people's time, and difficult to work with. Would not recommend. However, I would recommend James's towing services.

Great service from Island Recovery who responded fast to our call. The car's battery died and needed towing from a multi storey carpark. Mr. Ho arrived within 20 minutes and was kind enough to check the battery status although he didn't have to. Will definitely ring them again! AA**

Service of the company is incredibly bad.. got them to jump start my car, the guy who came is very helpful, however after I follow the instruction to drive for 20 mins, in fact I drove for 30 mins, and came back to the car, it died again ( all within an hour)... i called the company, they say I have to make a new booking which is crazy and even say i have to drive for an hour!!!! I asked him where he expects me to drive for an hour? To me, a job is not done at jumpstarting the car, but to ensure customers are able to to get what they pay for..

The Driver (Ah Wong) very friendly guy who thowing my bike.. Sure will recommend for there very good services..

Extremely inconsiderate business owners who park their huge tow trucks illegally at ubi. Each tow truck takes up at least 3 car lots. Now they even resort to hogging lots by rotating their parked vehicles. Heavy vehicles are not supposed to be parked here after 7am. REFUSE to move vehicles. Outright selfish and inconsiderate behavior just so they don't have to pay for alternative parking. Go on and read the other reviews to see how this company behaves. A few tow truck operators in this area and this is the only one which does this. Their clients ought to know about such poor behavior

Disgustingly incompetent and inconsiderate. Tow truck driver blocked entire hdb carpark street, and when he got to the exit gantry his cashcard had no money so he just sat in the truck for 5 minutes even though the gantry had a top up station right beside it. It was only after the long line of cars behind him started horning that he got out and borrowed a card from the driver behind, who by then was desperate enough to get out and just lent it to him.
Best part is the driver didnt even hang his own license plate number at the back, on the car he was towing, which from my understanding is what tow trucks are supposed to do when towing.
This incident occured on the 5th of May 2018 at Bishan St 12

Worst experience ever! Deceitful and very dishonest..
I was stuck at the highway first lane from a punctured tyre when i engaged their service. 10 mins later they had not arrived and i called again. This time the company person mentioned that as i was in the first lane; it was dangerous for them to tow and insisted i drive my car over to third lane. I told them it was impossible because my tyre was completely burst and if i drove, the rim would touch the ground and i would lose control. Besides this was the AYE peak hour, and it was too dangerous. However the guy over the phone insisted i drove over and even retorted to me "mam; is your life more important or your tyre?" If they have no ability to tow my vehicle away they should made known to me from the start and not accepted my engagement.
Just in time, an EMAS vehicle arrived to rescue me. Turned out this island recovery truck was tailing behind and tailed me all the way to a carpark where the EMAS crew dropped me. The guy in the truck insisted i pay $30 for their service when i never used their towing service all. I was shocked and called the boss who said the same thing as well. He even said it was for petrol money!! How despicable is that!
And so i suggested they help me change my tyre as part of the $30 since i never used their service at all and guess what; they wanted to charge me $50 for the tyre!
Throughout the whole conversation, the guy in the trunk did not even need to step foot out of the vehicle and he dares charge me $30?!
After i paid the $30 unwillingly; i asked for a receipt and guess what, the guy said there was no such thing as a receipt! I insisted and after calling his boss, he gave me a receipt. Which means this is obviously a scam and one company who does not abide by its policy in a clear and transparent manner.
This is a very deceitful and dishonest company. Avoid them at all cost if your can. I am lodging a legal complaint with them rightaway

I can't thank Davis from island recovery enough. My car ran over something sharp n 2 tyres (front n back) popped. I called them at 10pm. They were kind enough to explain it'd take them 20-30min to arrive from Ubi. 1 local man, Davis, arrived at 1020pm. When I offered to close my car boot, he told me that he'd do everything for me. N I could simply stand one side, away from main traffic. He took extra care n was professional to Ensure all jerks, n assisted metal pieces was well secured before we set off. It took a while before we set off coz he had to think of a solution to lift my back tyre off the ground. He even asked me where I lived so he could bring me to d closest tyre shop that's still opened. When we reached tyre shop in Bendemeer, he apparently knew the manager here. He took initiative to ask manager to give me a good price. Overall, highly recommend island recovery services. Very professional n experienced, they treat ur car w care. N very reasonable price. I paid $107 for towing after Davis kindly waive the charges for the jerk.

Bad day... car broke down of all places at Golden Mile basement carpark..... called few towing services and all refuse to take job....
Manage to get island towing and waited for 45min before towing arrived. Saw towing is a chinaman.... hosey.... expecting some bad service liao.... to my surprise the level of service rendered... due to the height limit,the roof of the towing truck was slightly damaged but driver say its ok and reported back his boss.... overheard boss say no choice... company will bear....

Very bad service received from customer service officers when I asked a few questions. Very impatient. This company doesn't want your business. They will tell you very busy and ask you to find other company to tow.

11:45am call to enquire on their availability at 3pm to tow my car they said just call an hour in advance
2pm Called to ask them to pick-up my at 3:45pm
3:40pm waited for them at the carpark
3:55pm no sign. Called them n they said they are on the way.
4:10pm called them again to ask where are they and they said "oh we can not make it already".
Once they know they can't make it, the least they could do is call me to inform me but they didn't!
Unprofessional and unreliable ! Avoid if possible!
