I needed a new battery for my car, there was a lot of confusion from various sources including the AA about which battery I needed. I went to Halfords and spoke to a young guy called Max who was not only incredibly helpful in sourcing the right battery but then fitted it while I waited. Great service Thank you Max!

I used the click and collect on my phone and in less than 30 minutes I had received the notification my parts are ready to collect. On entry to the store I was greated by a polite gentleman who kept his distance and asked to help. He took me straight to my items and I was out the door in seconds. Super efficient during this unprecedented time. Well done halfords. Credit where credit is due.

I had problems with starting my van, Newhaven Halfords checked my batteries then tried to jump start my van but it wasn't having any of it. So three members of staff gave me a push to bump start it, it took 2 goes but they got me going. They gave me good advice and were very helpful. Many thanks ????

What a brilliant team here in Newhaven. I came here for an MOT which failed, but the way the staff explained the issues and why it failed made perfect sense. They guided me on how to fix some of the small issues and they fixed one major issue for me. Utterly brilliant service. Highly recommend! Thank you ????

Saab 95 in for MOT retest, and fit new indicator bulb and ball joint. Ricky on reception was great, sorted out parts fitting and retest. Nothing was any problem for him to do. I picked up the car at 1.30pm after leaving it at 8am

I’ve used this store for fitting parts like lights as well as a new car stereo most recently. The staff are all very polite, obviously know what they’re doing and work very hard. In the current Covid-19 situation, the store is very well organised, all staff wear a mask and the store is never that busy that it feels unsafe.
