Management are rude and entitled. Very arrogant, Service is horrendous. Management have no skills or manners. You can see they treat their staff poorly. Waste of money, tasteless food. Extremely bad hygiene. The owner needs to reevaluate his life and his business because this is way to run one and he is racist.

For a quick sub take out its really good. The food and the service. On my both visits i had a young asian male serve me and he was co operative and helpful. Friendly person. The subs themselves were pretty nice. Price is really good, £3 for a footlong sub and a drink. Overall a good place to take out a bite. ............................................................................ Update: Extortionate prices on drinks. 4 star down to 3. ............................................................................. Update: They stop the £3 pound deal after 10pm which is very bad. Thats the main reason everyone comes here. I would put a star down but it deserves the 3 stars due to service and deliciousness. ............................................................................. Update: 3 stars to 2 My last visit I was given the tiniest amount of chicken filling in my baguette and the baguette was burnt. Main concern was the tiny amount of chicken filling added. A baby's serving amount. Come on guys. You guys are slacking. I'm happy to change my review and put star rating up in accordance to improvement but the franchise owner needs to start getting things together. I don't know if staff are responsible or franchise owner but someone is and you guys might lose 2 regular customers. Hope things can be turned around. Ps the picture on my review was from another visit when I first started visiting. Update 2 star to 1 ..................................................................... This place gets worser visit by visit. The franchise owner needs to have a deep think about his failure. I have made the decision not visit again. Gave this place more that a few chances.

Dreadful. I don’t normally write negative reviews but what are reviews for if they don’t reflect actual experiences? We wanted to support a small business as we know they’ve been hit hard lately with the pandemic. Very hard to understand the girl behind the counter who was wearing a mask but speaking very softly while the DLR rattles by right outside. After ordering and a fair amount of back-and-forth about what options were and were not allowed or available, she started making the food..... very, very, slowly... one... jacket... potato... at... a... time... Not sure why this place has “express” in the name, it’s anything but. One potato was put into the microwave for about 20 seconds and then taken out. Cheese and beans were added, then potato put in a box. Then the other potato was microwaved next (separately) and then some toppings applied (the wrong ones actually but like I say it was noisy). I think one of the potatoes went back into the microwave at one point... but not both. Clearly the girl’s first day or something :-( Eventually after what felt like an eternity we had to answer the question about what salad we wanted. Asked for the same options on both potatoes and had to answer this same question several times. During some time nothing was happening I said “shall I pay while we’re waiting” and paid by contactless. Then a few minutes later she went to the til and gave me £4 cash without saying anything, so naturally I asked “what’s that for?” “Oh yeah I overcharged you for an extra potato!” The whole thing took so long once we had the food in the bag I was glad to leave so we walked across the water to the small park in Canary Wharf only to discover when we unboxed the food it was ice cold! Quickly marched back and and asked for a refund and were met with all manner of alternatives and excuses as to why that couldn’t happen; instead I would have to come back on Monday when the manager was in! Lots of heated conversation and a phone call to the manager later - which also took forever... I think they were hoping we’d just give up - eventually she gave the money back. A happy ending to a sad tale.

Amazing baguettes (the fillings are really tasty, especially the {very} spicy beef and one of the chicken fillings) with a great range of salads. Love them so much that I’ve actually travelled all the way there just to get people try their baguettes! Their customer service is good, staff are very friendly and it is usually quite busy during lunch hours during the weekday. They also serve biryani and noodles in takeaway boxes. Small interior but they have a few bar-style seats. Meat is halal.

It offers affordable and delicious Halal food. Sandwiches, rolls or pakings. Available as solo with a drink or meals with drink and side dishes. It is near Jubilee place and Canary Wharf st.

Small place which is ideal if you are bored of the Subway next door. Has a good range of wraps and baguettes and pizzas available on the go. Usually very filling, you can get a wrap packed with different proteins and veg for £3 as opposed to a 6 inch sub from Subway. There is very limited seating inside, perhaps 3 seats, therefore it is best to takeaway. Can be very busy during lunch time.

I literally go here almost every time I'm working during the weekends, its cheap, tasty and quick to order. I prefer there wraps and baguettes. Sometimes it can get kind of cramped considering its a small shop but I don't go there to eat in the store so it doesn't really bother me. I have tried a bunch of stuff from there shop and I really like it compared to subway and pret which are right beside it. I would definitely recommend it.

Today (07/05/17) I purchased two of your breakfast wraps, when I got back to my hotel room I come to realise that the wrap was not toasted properly and this isn't the first time I've had a problem. I regularly eat from here as it's convenient and good at price. They've got mine and my partners order wrong a couple of times but I've always brushed it off but today it went too far as it's early morning and I'm a breakfast person! She didn't make it clear on who's wrap was who's, she told my partner what wrap was his and what wrap was mine, but when we got home, I bit into my wrap and I realised I had bit into my partners and tasted the honey mustard sauce which I don't like and I'm allergic too, luckily enough it was only a small bite so no damage was done. But the customer service in this shop is getting out of hand and I think they all need to be retrained. Furthermore it's suppose to be a quick bite place but it took the person behind the till forever just to make the wraps considering I was the only person in the shop, so if you love waiting around this place is for you. It's a shame I used to like this place nevertheless I'm glad there is a subway right next door

Really disappointed in this place. I've been coming to Baguette Express for nearly two and a half years now and it used to be a really good store where you could get a solid lunch from - unlike Subway next door the staff weren't bothered about defined filling sizes etc and always made you a great sandwich. Was a nice, different place to get lunch from. Over the past couple of months however Baguette Express has clearly been on some kind of cost-cutting exercise - you no longer get multiple meat fillings (restricted now to one only) and all other filling amounts are minimal; the last wrap I had there was barely anything beyond the wrap itself. The wrap was poorly put together too and just fell apart immediately. It's a shame as it used to be somewhere I'd recommend to anyone, however now I won't be visiting again at all (time to re-try Subway?). This feeling is also shared by my colleagues who also used to visit the store often too.

Avoid! Food taste and quality was ok so normally they would get a 3 rating. Not after this happened. In essence, I had the worst and rudest customer experience in a food store ever! Previous times I had ordered baguette, so today I decided to try the panini bread. I asked for panini bread with the meat of my choice. This was prepared and then I was asked about the salad. I kindly asked that I would prefer to have the salad after the panini was toasted. My request was declined! Asking for a reason they said this is the way they do panini and if I wanted to have salad in the panini it would have to be hot and toasted. I advised that I don't prefer the salad to be hot, in which case they said that they would not add any salad. I kindly asked for clarification why it is not possible to open the panini after is toasted and add salad but they keep saying that is "impossible". I asked for an alternative, to put the salad on the side (so that I would make the impossible, possible myself by adding the salad in the panini by just opening it). This request was also refused with the excuse that this is not possible with it's packaging. I then asked to put the panini in a package that can accommodate the salad on the side. The employee then responded in a very rude manner that if I wanted to have the salad they would only give it to me by putting into one of my pockets!!! I asked to speak to the manager but I was refused saying the manager was not there and the employee was the supervisor at the time. I was also refused to receive a contact method. What's more, they insisted I had to pay for the panini with the excuse that they had already started working on it. This was outrageous since it didn’t cost anything for them, it was something I wasn't willing to eat and they didn't include half of the ingredients! I guess what's worse for them is that they made this scene in front of the 20 or so (ex-)customers... I always had the dilemma between Baguette Express vs Subway since they are next to each other. Not any more!

I think the subway was like this in the beginning, same system like there just everything is smaller and less toppings to choose, you can get some pizzas crisps soft drinks, it's a halal place and open till very late, the only place to get some food in the middle of the night if you don't want to walk a mile or order online, and it's cheap as well.
