So I went here to exchange an iPhone.. wanting to go for a different iPhone model.. enthusiastic staff but unfortunately don't know how to sell it to you!! I was told non stop how bad the iPhones are by a member of staff and that no staff at this place own an iPhone because there rubbish phones and all your paying for is a logo.. I don't wish to be made to feel terrible for my choice of purchase.. wasn't the experience I was expecting after a very lengthy time just for asking about different iphone models.. the staff assisting me was trying to downplay everything.. really strange and made me feel uneasy about my purchase

This review isnt about this particular location, but more of Carphone Warehouse as a whole.
I came and purchased a phone from these people a few weeks ago and it turned out to be faulty. I get it, this happens.
The unfortunate part is that I bought this phone just before I left the country. Ill be spending the next six months living in remote areas and I needed this phone to be reliable.
I have spent the last week trying to speak with them over the phone. The Carphone Warehouse location never answers the phone. The only way you can get someone to speak to you is to call Currys PC World and get them to put someone from CPW on the phone. Once you actually speak to someone, they tell you to call the CPW head office or customer service, who then tells you to call the store.
The basically just dont want to do any work and figure that they could make someone elses problems or hope that I might just give up.
I used to sell mobile phones, and know for particular circumstances, there is something they could do for me, but they have refused long enough that I no longer have time to handle this situation. I now have to spend the next six months living in remote areas of Africa with a broken phone.
