After a really good chat about what sounds I wanted and the direction my sounds would probably go i am really impressed with the knowledge that was shown. within a week I was able to have a new head unit fitted and was still able to use the steering wheel controls too. I would highly recommend these if youre looking for an upgrade.

Had a very positive experience buying from here. Very professional fitting service and they custom made some bits to complete the job to a very high standard. The system sounds amazing, they showed me how to use it and brought the whole job in under budget and on a tight time scale. Couldn't be happier and would recommend with confidence.

Called in during the lockdown as was looking at adding some extra bass to my factory system. No hard sell, I was given advice based on my need/want rather than to sell me additional items. Arranged a time for fitting an active sub but then i decided to change my mind and go for another set up. All installed and set up. A few months later a minor issue occurred (no fault with the installation) and this was sorted with no Quibbles and despite that I had forgotten to book in.
I can definitely recommend Car Audio in Nottingham and Chris and Leon are good, helpful guys.

ordered a headunit with next day delivery, although it arrived a day late you cannot blame delivery services in these times, originally I thought the unit arrived damaged but it just needed a bit of a push to get something back into place, through no fault of car audio center. overall a very good experience

Terrible after sales customer service. Received a damaged stereo and seems impossible to try and get it replaced. Sent countless messages. Finally got a response to ask me to post it at my own expense when I received it damaged!

Came here for a new double din stereo for my civic. I heard it was a bit of a faff to do as the whole centre console needed to come out. But these guys did it wonderfully and even gave me a little session on how to use it before I drove away. Wonderful service and very knowledgeable which put me at ease instantly. I shall definitely recommend going forward. Thanks.

Wouldn't take my cars anywhere else, absolutely top class service from Chris and Leon... Quality advice and top notch fitting, the car still looks completely factory.
They always go the extra mile to make it sound good and spent over an hour after most would call the job done tuning the sound until it was perfect.. They even went to the trouble of playing my own music through it and tuning for that.
Huge thanks guys, really happy with system and the service, 100% recommended.

I made a call to this business and spoke with Chris, he was very knowledgeable and the conversation made me want to do business with this company.
I then called back to speak with Leon, his tone was rather unenthusiastic but at the end of the conversation he told me that I have to call them back the next day at 09:30 when they open, to see if they have the appropriate parts available. Did not take my name, did not take my number, made it my job to get back to them.
I called the next morning as instructed and spoke with Leon again. He said that they don't know yet whether they can do it, Chris is at the warehouse and will be able be able to confirm in about an hour. He has however found an open packet with the part we need but they will be ordering a new part anyway just in case. I then asked whether he could get back to me with what the best course of action is. I then gave my name and number and was expecting a call back.
About 4 hours later I decided to call and check what's going on as I have not heard anything. Leon seemed perplexed as to why I called and insisted that he told me the part had been ordered and when it arrives they will be back in touch. They don't know when that will be.
I then questioned their willingness to do business as it started feeling like they weren't very keen, judging by the general attitude. Leon then told me that if they didn't value customer service why would they go out of their way to check whether they have the parts in stock in the warehouse? I couldn't believe that him doing his job was going "out of his way" but did understand more about their customer service angle if that is the starting point.
I then asked to speak to a manager to find out whether this is the kind of service I should be expecting. Leon said he was the store manager but that I could call Steve, the owner, if I had issues.
I did. Steve answered the phone, and before even hearing my side of the story, said to me that he has been called by Leon and believes that I am overreacting. He has 100s of happy customers and does not want to do business with me.
A real pity.

I wouldn't go anywhere else for my car audio equipment. It's well worth it going to these guys. Honest smart friendly and professional.

Had these fine gents fit a sat nav unit to my Skoda which has certainly brightened up the interior and gave it a modern appearance. They seem to operate with high standards having all the equipment as well as the knowledge to satisfy my needs. I shall go back again at a later date to fit a dash cam which are good prices.

Recently went to the Nottingham branch to get a new head unit, speakers, sub and amplifier fitted to my Honda Civic as well as having the doors deadened. The guys there are really friendly, knowledgeable and knew exactly what I needed. The attention to detail and quality of the work was second to none. A job well done, my car now sounds incredible.

Very good place to take your car, only problem is when they earthed my sub the didnt strip the paint off the bolt minor issue and was easily fixed now my sub is earthed and pumping away like no worries. Thanks guys

Absolute joke of a company to deal with. Ordered online. Item was faulty out of the box and had to go through swings and roundabouts then they told me to go speak to Autoleads. Err no, you are the supplying company not Autoleads - they really need to brush up on the rights a consumer/customer has!. Customer service is laughable - Rude, abrupt staff that do not even listen to you. They ask you to describe the fault and when you talk them through the fault they say 'I don't need to hear this'. So why bother asking me? Make your mind up and learn the basics of customer services, which clearly this business struggles with. Ask to speak to the manager and he is always away - clearly hiding behind the desk hoping complaints would go away. Luckily paid via Credit Card so they refunded me. I would strongly recommend not to deal with this company. Pay more and be satisfied elsewhere. Don't let the cheap prices fool you!

Chris was great he didn’t try to talk me into buying something but listened to what I wanted and gave good advice. So I bought a Kenwood 4018 dab and fitting kit. He fitted it with great care and was very professional. The guys are great to talk to as well.
Sounds so much better than the factory fitted one.

I am really happy with my choice in choosing this store to fit an amplifier to my BMW F10, I was given the best possible option (not the most expensive one) for my car and they really did a good job in fitting it, they did not let me leave until I was completely satisfied and boy what a massive change
Kenwood X801-5 in combination with Eton speakers and subwoofers it will blow your mind
Really recommend this store, I got a good deal on the purchase of the amplifier and the cost of wires and fitting was really good compared to other stores, I've travelled from Manchester to there to have it done and that took about nearly 5 hours

You wouldn't find anywhere better to go for your car audio. these guys are spot on especially Chris.
On a short notice,He booked my Infiniti car to install Grom Audio Vline2 which is a very rare fit considering there aren't many Infinitis around and the nature of the job.
The quote was very reasonable, he answered all my questions and seems very knowledgeable. The device was installed very professionally and everything worked perfectly.

Took my imported Japanese stepwagon in for an upgraded audio dab system. After a conversation around my requirements the guys set to work.
No easy task, after several trying hours working around the Japanese system the upgrade has been successfully installed. The service and work done were absolutely top notch. I can absolutely recommend the car audio center for any work you require on your car audio systems. Absolutely brilliant. Couldn't be happier with the whole experience.

I've spent quite a lot with this company and have never had any real issues. If I have any criticism then it would be the knowledge of a couple of staff from the Nottingham branch and a bit of bad advice that had me buy something I didn't need. The Manchester branch on the other hand are fantastic and are welcoming and friendly lads.
