I had been searching for a set of wheels with reasonably good tyres, I found these at Howkins Motor Spares.
I traveled up to collect them on the specified day. When I arrived the staff greeted me they were more then pleasant and happy to help me.
I have been to other car spares establishments and have always been treated rudely and spoken to in an unruly manner. Not at Howkins, I was shocked in a good way to say in the least. The wheels were brought out and even helped loading them in my car, with care and consideration.
I am.more then happy to recommend them for all your spare parts with value for money. Should I need any more parts for my old car i wouldn't hesitate going back to Howkins.

Would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your help in sorting out a fuel tank for my son after his was vandalised by fuel thieves. He is only on a low income and works with people who have learning difficulties so needed his car. You even took the time to talk things through with our local mechanic. I bought a set of used alloy wheels from Howkins via eBay. The wheels were exactly as described. All the imperfections were photographed and they were completely honest in the item description. They were well priced too.
I picked up the wheels in person a couple of days later. The guys were really friendly and helpful, and even helped carry the wheels to my car which they didn't have to do.
I will definitely consider them again for used car parts.

Some kind soul had smashed both nearside windows on my grandson's old Fiat Punto that his father had bought him only a couple of weeks earlier Being a young new driver he could not claim on his insurance so we were glad to find the glass available at Howkins through eBay and bought it. Thinking it was a job for an expert we had not thought of fitting it ourselves but thanks to the helpful advice kindly given when collecting the glass we were able to do it ourselves, saving the lad over £200 as quoted for the job. It fitted perfectly but the only downside was that he had already bought the front window from someone else on eBay which cost him £15 more than one that Howkins had available. Again he was able to fit this one thanks to the advice we got. All round we could not be more pleased. With service like this Howkins deserve all the trade they can get.

Difficult to know how to start feedback on this visit, So will start with a great bunch of guys. Friendly and helpful, and go out of thier way for you even when busy.
I went to look at a bonnet that was on eBay, they did not answer the messages so I rang. Great on the phone and said they were down on help and can only apologise. Popped up their and true to their word the part was pretty good condition. They actually want decent stuff out the door so take care taking parts off. Have you got a light? Yes and took it off in minutes. What about a back door, they knew their way round a car and it was off in under 5 mins. And the price was good too, so added them to my favourites. I am very grateful to them and they even carefully loaded the stuff into my car.

They don't take cards, but pointed me to the local cashpoint which was 2 mins walk.
